Poros Delight

Poros is a small beautiful Greek Island close to Athens. The island can be reached by car (160km - 2:30 hours Athens plus a small ferry) or by ship from Piraeus port (1 hour with speedboat) There are several beautiful beaches on this island: Neorion beach: just where the appartment is situated Love bay: 400m 5 min walking Russian bay: 1km 15 mins walking (with the remnants of the old Russian Dockyard) Kalypso beach: 600m 10 mins walking Askeli beach: 2.1 km 35 mins walking (or take the bus) All beaches are warm and people can go for swimming from mid April until mid October. Also there's a ski training school very close to the apartment (100 meters). Poros Town, a picturesque island town is within 2 km. Offers night bars and clubs as well as tourist shops. Frequent bus service exists (every half an hour in high season), even though i would defenately recommend the 20-30 min walking by the sea. Poros is adequate for relaxing vacations next to the sea. The apartment is 100 sq. meters and consists of 2 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, living room & balcony with beautiful & close view to the sea. Close to the apartment you can find a supermarket and cheap restaurants with Greek cuisine.

A beautiful summer apartment with a unique sea view a few meters away from Askeli Beach one of the most beautiful of Poros Island. The apartment is fully furnished, spacious, and sunny, decorated with love we managed to create a very relaxing and comfortable setting. Its lovely wide terrace with the captivating sea view, the colorful garden, adds a sense of tranquillity and relaxation. For the hot summer days, all 3 bedrooms have AC and ceiling fans. Ideal for family-friends vacations as well as romantic getaways. An island that combines sandy beaches with beautiful forest scenery. The location is 15 minutes walking distance or 5 minutes with the bus to the centre of Poros. Explore the village, take long walks by the sea, dine in the traditional Greek taverns, take the scenic traditional boats to explore the island. Poros Island is serviced by both sea and road routes from Athens.By sea (from the port of Piraeus you can reach the island in little over an hour using the fast flying dolphin & catamaran services, alternatively driving from Athens to the coastal town of Galatas (where car ferries service the island every 30 minutes) can be achieved in 2 1/2 hours.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish room with big and beautiful balcony with a great sea view over the entire Askeli beach area. It has a fully equipped kitchen, smart tv and is only a 40 meters away from the biggest beach of Poros. Supermarket, bakery, bike rental and great restaurants are nearby. Aida studios is located in Askeli area on Poros island. It is higher up which gives it a great view of Askeli beach but it also means the road to get there is uphill and quite steep.

A spacious veranda is featured with a large wooden table surrounded by six chairs. An umbrella provides shade over the seating area. Vibrant pink bougainvillea adds color and charm, while the white building and blue shutters create a fresh coastal ambiance.

It’s very spacious, has functional and comfortable layout, stylish design, full amenities, big verandas, nice view of the Poros bay and the surrounding mountains of Peloponnese, located in a picturesque and quiet area at the old settlement of the town where all facilities and the marina are easily accessible on foot. It includes a parking spot as well.

Traditional Poros residence "Nina's House"

Cute little house in the traditional town of Poros island, located near to the port and close to all the required services (market, food, entertainment). Nina's house was our grandmother's home.It was built in the 19th century. The renovation was done with full respect to all the old elements of the house and tried to preserve the special atmosphere of such a place, simple, but with all the essentials for a pleasant stay.

A scenic view of the hillside town showcases traditional buildings with colorful facades and terracotta roofs. Bougainvillea plants add vibrant pink accents to the greenery below. The tranquil bay is visible in the distance, reflecting the soft colors of the sky at sunset.

Beautiful, boutique studio in a historical house (built in late 1800s) on the hillside of the old town of Poros. House named after my grandmother Antonia-Dona Kastrioti. Completely renovated, and modernised, provides all needed amenities for a pleasant stay while keeping true to the traditional look and feel. It can accommodate 2 adults and 1 child Quiet and peaceful while in walking distance from the centre of Poros.

A bright bedroom is presented with a spacious bed, white linens, and soft lighting from bedside lamps. Natural light filters through a nearby window, complemented by light green curtains. A minimalist wardrobe and a small desk with a round mirror are also visible.
