Idyllic farm right on the Fulda

Our farm is located in the middle of the Rhön Biosphere Reserve in a quiet part of Sandberg on a 7,000 sqm property. The Fulda flows directly through our farm and invites children to splash and play. In 1998, the former farm was completely renovated, with a lot of love for detail. In the garden you will find sun loungers, hammocks, a barbecue corner as well as a frog pond and a children's play area with a swing and a stilt house, so there is enough space to relax and unwind.

Nature vacation at the Rhön Country School

Sit back and relax – in this quiet, stylish accommodation (125 sqm) surrounded by nature in the center of the Rhön Biosphere Reserve. Through the many windows, the view opens into nature and creates light-flooded interiors. The large former school room is the heart of the house with plenty of space for a vacation with your loved ones. From the house you can walk wonderful hikes to Lake Guckai or to the surrounding mountains (Wasserkuppe, Pferdskopf and much more).

Welcome to our home! We rent a cozy and large sheep/living room with kitchen and bathroom on the second floor of the house. The apartment is located in Fulda - Kohlhaus. Parking is available free of charge on the street. By car, you'll be in the city center in about 10 minutes, but you can also take the bus. The stop is about 8 minutes' walk from the apartment. Shopping is good in the Kaiserwiesen shopping center. About 18 minutes on foot.

We moved from the city to an old farm in 2016 and live here together with our dog Dago and three cats in the middle of Schwarzenfels, a municipality of the city of Sinntal, below the beautiful Schwarzenfels Castle. We are gradually renovating the farm. In 2020, our "vacation home" project was completed and we are looking forward to our guests.
