Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Plymouth

My boyfriend and I visited with two friends, so we booked the entire barn. Helen was there to meet us when we arrived and offered us a tea and coffee with biscuits. We found the barn to be spotlessly clean. The soft furnishings and interior design were lovely quality and comfortable. The beds are lovely and comfortable. The quality and choice of breakfast was amazing and they catered for a vegetarian and gluten free. Helen was a great host who couldn't do enough for us. The grounds are pretty and peaceful with lovely views of the Countryside. The photos dont do this place justice. We really couldnt rate this place highly enough. Thanks Jen

Felt really welcome and looked after from the moment we checked in. Super dog friendly place. Weather was awful so we chilled in the lovely room for the afternoon then had a nice meal and good cider in the pub. Will be booking again.

Lizzie was a lovely host - very friendly and welcoming. The room had everything we needed, although small, with a comfortable bed and a good shower. A great location - right on the waterside in Dartmouth - and breakfast was excellent.

We stayed for one night while walking the SWCP. Keren was very helpful with providing a ride to and from the trail. We slept well and she provided a delicious breakfast. It was a nice restful stop on our trip.

Belinda was very helpful about me needing to check in a bit early, very accommodating with my little dog, and also very welcoming and a lovely host. Breakfast was delicious - lovely granola with blueberries and yoghurt, perfect. She recommended various supper options and I tried the Cott Inn - fabulous food (I had the pea, shallot and sage tortelloni) and also dog friendly. I was visiting Totnes in order to go on a tour of the Agroforestry Research Trust which is a pioneering forest garden full of interesting edibles grown without needing much maintenance - ideal for growing healthy food at home alongside a busy lifestyle. The tour was great - and Belinda’s home was only a 15 min walk away, so it all worked out very well.

Beautiful, clean property and very friendly and helpful hosts

Katie was very friendly and the view out of our window over the fields of sheep and cows was lovely. A very rural and secluded location, but within minutes of Ashburton. We will definitely stay at Katie‘s place next time we are in in Devon.

Angela is a very welcoming and friendly host . she is also very helpful . our one night stay was very comfortable, warm and we also felt safe . Thank you ! we will definitely come back one day xx

Roy and Chris are wonderful hosts, they were really helpful when I got lost, very welcoming and the breakfast and soup were fantastic. The rooms were really warm cozy and well equipped and the bed was extremely comfy. Thank you so much for a fantastic friendly stay.

What a beautiful place! The village is unbelievably picturesque and Sall’s beautiful Robins accommodation was comfortable, homey and welcoming. I loved the little touches, like bread and jam to make midnight toast (I enjoyed that) and a fridge stocked with juices, butter, milk… all the basics if you forget to buy supplies like I did. Sall’s directions were easy to follow, and she was most helpful about advice for spotting Dartmoor ponies. I took the suggestions she offered and had a wonderful trip. Thank you Sall!

Last minute stay for friends - great success

It's my second time staying here, feeling like home. The hosts are always very proactive and attentive to my needs. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is really nice!

Katherine’s house was located in a in a lovely secluded area . The views were beautiful and it was easy access to the main centre which was perfect for restaurants and bars. It’s only a short walk to the train station which was perfect for me. Katherine was easy to get in contact with and very friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

We didn’t spend a lot of time in the hotel, but the room worked well, the host was very friendly and helpful and we had no problems

I had a lovely stay at Rita's place. It's a fantastic spot and Rita and Eric are wonderful and very friendly hosts. the room itself is spotless and very homely. the breakfast was delicious. Rita even dropped me off in Plymouth the next morning. couldn't have asked for more. would definitely recommend.

I arrived tired after driving through lashing rain. I was made to feel immensely welcome. Everything was very fine indeed and Rachel had put a lot of thought into providing everything needed for a comfortable stay.

We had the best stay with Ian and Lorraine - absolutely gorgeous rooms, huge friendly welcome , beautifully clean and every little detail so well thought out. Delicious breakfast, lift from Ian to and from the festival ! Already planning our next trip back to this total gem . Thanks Ian and Lorraine -it was all amazing ! X

If you are looking for a place to stay where you are made to feel welcome, one where you can come and go as you need to, this is where I recommend you stay. I had a week of being totally looked after from coffee being made for me, fresh strawberries from the garden with breakfast i so recommend you have the cook breakfast, delicious!! I had a great time learning all about the chickens & seeing one day old chicks. I got to see & learn about their home grown fruit & veg. I will always remember how welcome I was made to feel in someones home I didn’t know. They are the warmest, kindest, friendliest & caring two people. I would absolutely stay again. Another guest came every year to see family & would always stay with Suzie & Steve - You will understand why! Thank you Suzie & Steve for making a stressful time so much easier. I think you are both wonderful & if I am ever in the area again I will be over to stay for so many reasons, one being your delicious breakfast - Thank you!!

The location is great and easy to find. The living room is spacious and beautiful. The bedroom is very comfy and well-equipped. Breakfast is very nice and always catered to my needs. Dogs there are very handsome and gentle. The hostess is very flexible with time and also reponds to messages very quickly, so it's not an issue without having the key.

If you want a friendly quiet place to stay, this is the place for you. Set in gorgeous surrounding, it is perfect place to unwind. Breakfast was great, with everything that you could wish for, and nothing was too much trouble. Loved it. Thanks
