Cabin vacation rentals in Plymouth

Wow! What a place! It sounds a cliche but we will definitely be visiting again! Next time for more than one evening. We’re already looking through the diary for the next available weekend. It was everything we expected and more. We stayed as it was as close to an event we were attending that evening. Upon arrival we were worried about getting a taxi to an event as uber didn’t work well in the area. Jill (the host) kindly asked what time we needed to be there and what time we needed to be collected and she organised it all. She really went above and beyond what was expected and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for more

We had such a lovely, peaceful stay at Tim’s place. The lodge is even better than the photos and the quality of beds, linen, etc was really high quality - both the adults and children in our group all slept better than at home! The hot tub was a real highlight for us, brilliant size and ready for us to use as soon as we arrived. Tim was really responsive and available to answer any questions we had. Loved the location - highly recommend visiting “Outside” up the lane for a bite to eat and a drink

Loved our stay , was very cosy and pretty place. had everything we needed inside. Hot tub and fire were a bonus. All the animals on the farm were lovely to see. layout was great. greta stay

Beautiful stay in a lovely peaceful area. Check in was as easy as it could be and Julie was very responsive with any questions I had. 5 star stay and would definitely recommend and visit again

If you like quiet & rural this place is for you. Beautiful surroundings, quiet single track location, the site is well maintained & laid out with activities onsite. Laundry room is a bonus if your a family. Dogs felt right at home with the surroundings too. Would love to visit again.

I cannot recommend coming to the lodge enough. It is in a beautiful location with great links to anywhere in Dartmoor. We had a great time here. The hot tub is a highlight, a gorgeous lit up tub next to a small lake. The hut itself overlooks a wonderful view of the countryside. The cabin is well stocked with utensils equipment and all the essentials you could ever need. 10 out of 10 would go again for sure.

Jess is highly communicative, making the check-in process smooth and easy. The cabin is just a 3-minute walk from the parking area. It was lovely and clean, with all the necessary amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with plenty of pillows to choose from. The peaceful surroundings ensured a great night's sleep. There are several pubs within a 5-minute drive, and Exeter Quay is only 10-15 minutes away by car. I would definitely recommend Jess's cabin!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely seaside-style cottage in Cornwall ! The house was cozy, beautifully decorated in a coastal theme, and had everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. The small terrace and charming courtyard were perfect for morning coffee or a quiet evening under the stars. We especially loved the view of the peaceful meadow just beyond the garden — such a calming and picturesque setting. Thank you for a perfect stay!

Clean house with great smelling linen. Peaceful place with beautiful view. No fuss or complication. The host left us a delicious home-made cake to welcome us. Didn't want for anything. Loved it. Would go back in a shot.

This was a surprise find for us. We thought as usual there is one killer photo cropped and the rest is a let down. Not in this case! Superb vacation with views from every room. Calms the soul. Nice little moments and differing from various sofas. The kitchen and furniture is more than you’ll need. Outdoor deck very impressive. Can’t recommend enough! Will be back! Jealous we don’t own this

Lovely lodge in a peaceful setting, nicely presented, good number of bathrooms, big fridge was useful, clean, cute, cosy.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Refuge. It's beautifully built and decorated, in a beautiful location that is, while peaceful, is only a short drive away from several lovely beaches and towns. Alex and Toby are super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Amazing getaway - you wouldn't know there are other people staying nearby as it is so quiet. Peaceful, relaxing and a great place to use as a base to explore Dartmoor and Hay Tor. Me and the dog loved it!

We loved our stay at the Nest - the location is so beautiful & peaceful and the Nest was just as described. Felicity was very helpful, proactive and responsive welcoming us for check in, sharing local recommendations. We spent Easter there with our 3yo and Felicity left children’s books, toys for the bath & Easter chocolates which she loved! Looking forward to coming back!

We were so lucky to find this at such short notice. Perfect location. (Turns out I came here 40 years ago with my parents). Very quiet and safe. Great for families and easy access to all the great beaches on the north coast. The lodge was virtually brand new and has everything you need for self catering. Everyone on the site was friendly. Nice play area and walks around the site especially with a toddler in tow. Highly recommend and we’ve already talked about coming back….. if they’ll have us. 😬

What a find! Beautiful location, very easy to get to places of interest, peaceful with a gorgeous view. I was greeted by the lovely hosts, who ensured I was settled in. They had left welcome tea and coffee along with some fresh eggs laid by the hens outside! Comfortable sofa and bed, a nice hot shower, fluffy towels and a kitchen with a full size cooker. A real gem, exceptional value and will definitely stay again.

I had such a friendly welcome from Rachel, with everything that I needed set up and ready to go. And even though the pod felt very private, and away from it all, I also felt very safe, especially as I was alone. Incredibly peaceful, and perfect for a break away from the real world.

Absolutely spectacular. Would definitely return. The photos don't do full justice to how gorgeous the property is. Wild deer wandering around, loads of cool owls and other wildlife to marvel at. It was the perfect place for a Christmassy escape, super snug and cosy. Would recommend highly.

We all absolutely loved the Alpaca retreat. Cozy cabins, lovely hosts and perfect surroundings. Wonderful place to unwind and get back to nature. The kids loved the Alpacas, chickens, ducks and pigs. We enjoyed the cabins decked area which had sun all day from breakfast to sunset and the evenings under the stars with a bbq or fire pit.

if your after an off grid experience to make wonderful memories as a family, this is exactly that. waking up to the sheep was so lush and kids loved sitting in the bedroom window seats watching foxes run through the fields. The bats are incredible to watch as night draws in, coming within feet of you. Alice is an incredible host, all the wonderful details and care that have been taken to make your experience wonderful. From fresh flowers to the nature friendly shower shampoos and soaps. A lovely touch was recognition of my wifes birthday with a banner and a little lemon cake for a brew when we arrived, among other locally sourced bread, eggs, milk and butter. These gestures prove that Alice attention to detail and taking note of our conversation prior to attending was on point. The position of the cabin is always the sun to hit the garden space all day. Shower and toilet facilities are cracking and well thought out. We will definitely be back Alice, thank you again.
