Family-friendly vacation rentals in Playa Flamingo

We loved this place! The views are stunning! I could sit on the decks for hours just staring at the view and listening to the waves. We made a big breakfast and ate it on the deck one morning…breath taking.. You even have a view while showering in the master bath! The best beaches are within minutes- Playa Flamingo & Playa Conchal. I ran to Playa Flamingo beach in 10 minutes. The sunsets from Playa Flamingo beach were amazing! The infinity pool was fantastic to come home to at the end of a long day out. I wouldn’t hesitate booking this place again.

The villa is beautiful and cozy, it has everything you need for a family stay. The kids loved the place and the pool. It is very quiet and safe, highly recommended. We read reviews from people who said what the place doesn't have, but there are supermarkets around to make up for anything missing.

Lovely home near one of the best beaches in the country! We were very comfortable during our 6 day stay, with 5 adults moving around, and felt very safe. Hosts were extremely kind and communicative, answering any questions we had about activities or eating recommendations. We loved sitting outside by the pool every morning and listening to the howler monkeys and watching the iguanas. Best trip we've taken and the memories we made we will cherish forever!

Brandon’s place was exceptionally beautiful. Our family really enjoyed our stay. The pool table got a lot of use! The views from the balcony were stunning. I would argue that these were the best sunset views in the entire town! The front balcony offered sunrise views as well! We spent most of our time on the rear balcony, enjoying those views. It was clean, easy self check in and the property manager Allen was very responsive and helpful in setting up excursions! We wished we could have stayed another week! We had a fantastic stay! The house was very comfortable and spacious for our group of 11. The pool and outdoor lounge area were perfect for relaxing, and the location was great—close to restaurants, with one beach within walking distance and others just a short drive away. The gated property and alarm system made us feel very safe. Highly recommend for a fun and stress-free getaway!

Overall great stay got to see a ton of wildlife live like monkeys, lizards,bats and birds. I understand location on Airbnb is an estimate so it should the beach closer walking distance than it was. Very buggy if u do like insect be cautious. But great area for food and surfing.

This was a fantastic spot! Very spacious, clean and had a lovely pool. A short walk to the beach and a quick walk or drive to excellent restaurants. It was so nice to wake up and listen to the beautiful birds singing. Joshua was an excellent host, very helpful and responsive! Thanks again for a beautiful stay!

This was just what we were looking for - Peace and quiet with a beautiful view. The condo had everything we needed and more. One of the best stocked places we've stayed in with plenty of towels, paper supplies, kitchen supplies - everything except washclothes! Bring a few if you use them like we do. Furniture and beds were comfortable. Loved having our own private pool. Definitely recommend!

Great Airbnb experience, all around. Alvin is a fantastic host -- almost like a concierge. He's super responsive and set us up with great ground transportation -- which took us to some beautiful waterfalls on the way from Arenal and also took us grocery shopping. The property is beautiful and quiet. Quite good snorkeling. Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home in Tamarindo, Costa Rica! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was top-notch. Adrianna was incredibly helpful and responsive and always available to answer questions and offer great local recommendations. Hilary, the housekeeper, went above and beyond during our stay. She kept the house spotless and prepared some of the most delicious meals we had on our trip, truly a treat! The house itself was peaceful, well-maintained, and perfectly situated for exploring Tamarindo. We felt relaxed and taken care of throughout our entire stay. Highly recommend this place.

This property is truly magical! Getting there is definitely an adventure in itself due to the rough roads but is definitely worth the drive. This was the peaceful and private location we were looking for. The house itself is gorgeous but the property is also absolutely beautiful. The pool and garden areas were always spotless due to the groundskeeper coming every morning and maintaining. There were 9 in our group and we had plenty of space. Juan Carlos or Franklin were always available if we had any questions and Mariela did a great job keeping the place spotless. I can’t wait to come back!

Katia was very friendly and gave clear and precise instructions. The lady in charge was super nice. The people even helped us carry our luggage to the car and were very friendly. It was incredibly equipped. We didn't need anything at all. I recommend this beautiful place 100%

Great location. Was walkable to everywhere but also just far enough to be quieter. Yard is beautiful and the perfect little oasis with the pool. Perfect place for families and felt like our home right away. Thanks Yira for being a great host and for sharing your piece of paradise with us.

Great beach house for big group! There’s 4 bedrooms (all with king sized beds & private baths) only 2 of the bedrooms are accessible from the main shared living quarters, other 2 rooms are only assessed by a digital coded door (1 is upstairs off the pool deck & the other is downstairs off the courtyard). Felt super safe due to coded doors. We weren’t advised that a security guard would be patrolling around the home at random hours so this frightened us at 1st when we saw him outside at night w/ a flash light but we were comforted by his presence once we realized he was patrolling for our safety. The trash cans are at the top of the hill & the beach is at the bottom of the hill, definitely recommend having a rental (car or golf cart) to access these. Host was super attentive both before & during our stay. Only complaints were the amount of bugs/crabs that were frequently inside the house & the dryer takes 2-3 times of running to get clothes dry. Overall great stay & would come back!

Our family of 4 absolutely loved our stay at Villa 34. The setting is so beautiful and we loved the close proximity to the pool and the incredible beach - just a short golf cart ride! The house and kitchen are so clean and well-appointed and have everything needed for the stay. Howler monkeys were in the trees nearby and we got to see them throughout the stay. Isma helped us with a resource for excursions, too. What a wonderful vacation in an unforgettable setting. We loved it all!

I have stayed at many rentals around and in flamingo beach and this was maybe my favourite. The modern beach vibes the moment I walked in was welcoming and felt like home. Views amazing, location amazing, everything walkable. Full balcony, soft beds, tons of space. Pool is perfect with wonderful views. The entire complex is well maintained. I had one small hiccup and the property management was at my door in minutes. Everything worked! AC, TV, all appliances. If you are looking for a location with everything in one this is it! Priced perfectly. Can’t say enough about how happy we were!

We were a family of 4 (two younger kids) and had a great stay in Flamingo at this condo. The place was very spacious and very clean when we arrived. the balcony is nice and there is a view though there are electrical poles right on front as the pics show. The location was perfect for us as we could walk the short distance to the beach and walk to the amazing restos in the vicinity. Grocery store is right across the street. We did daytrips very easily to Playa Conchal and Tamarindo. The beach chairs were very handy and we left a boogie board there for future guests to enjoy. A minor annoyance was that during the night the ACs would make loud grinding sounds so we just switched to the ceiling fans which were adequate. Overall the condo was great value for a beautiful beach town.

We had a wonderful stay with 8 guests. The house is exactly as it appears in the photos, organized with 3 primary bedrooms around the central pool area. There is a fourth bedroom with 4 bunk beds. All of the bedrooms have their own bath/shower areas. The large living area has a big glass door that slides open to create an indoor/outdoor experience. We loved having breakfast prepared each day. We thought it might not be needed every day. However, after the first day, we decided it was too good to pass up, allowing us to relax every morning around the pool, drinking delicious coffee until the food was prepared. We would also highly recommend having a golf cart. It was delivered prior to our arrival and made trips in and out of town super easy. The location of the house is great. You can access either Playa Longosta or Playa Tamarindo through gates that are short walk from the house. The folks at the front gate to the neighborhood can give you the code. Overall, this is a great house!

My young family of five (children ages 10, 8, & 5) just spent 11 wonderful nights in Casa Pelicano. If you are looking for a peaceful & tranquil family holiday this is the spot! From morning swims & pool side coffee getting greeted by the local birds, ezpz fast access beautiful beach days, to adventures, Casa Pelicano has it all! Hazel & Kim were excellent & welcoming hosts. The care for their Casa and responsiveness to our inquires kept our holiday in pure paradise! This was my families first time vacationing in an international Airbnb. Hazel was very helpful in pointing us in the right direction for groceries & transportation. The guide book in the Casa is also helpful with local fyi's & tours. There are 3 restaurants within a 8min walk. From the beach, about 35mins north (this is a children's beach play walk) there are more restaurants, Surf Dog has family friendly service. 25mins beach walk south is the water taxi to Tamarindo with many more restaurants & shops. Pura Vida!
