Vacation rentals in Playa Flamingo

We loved this place! The views are stunning! I could sit on the decks for hours just staring at the view and listening to the waves. We made a big breakfast and ate it on the deck one morning…breath taking.. You even have a view while showering in the master bath! The best beaches are within minutes- Playa Flamingo & Playa Conchal. I ran to Playa Flamingo beach in 10 minutes. The sunsets from Playa Flamingo beach were amazing! The infinity pool was fantastic to come home to at the end of a long day out. I wouldn’t hesitate booking this place again.

This is our second time at Nick's place and it was everything we remembered. You can walk out the back patio and in 100 feet, go right into the ocean, with great surfing right there. Short walk to Tamarindo for restaurants and shopping, but secluded enough for peace and quiet. Several small maintenance issues popped up during the 10 days, but Nick responded in 15 minutes each time and the problems were resolved in an hour or two. Great host, great location, and great communication. We'll definitely be back.

Everything about our stay was perfect. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Lina even provided beach chairs, towels and floaties. The location was unbelievable and property was beautiful. We requested sheets for the sofa bed ahead of time and it was made before we got there. We had the most relaxing experience. Would absolutely stay again in a heartbeat!

5 Stars – Best Airbnb I’ve Stayed In! This place was absolutely perfect! The location is excellent—just 50 yards from the beach, which made it incredibly convenient to enjoy the ocean every day. The home itself was spotless, with a beautiful pool and a well-equipped, modern kitchen. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Vidal was amazing—super helpful, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Hands down, this is the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in. I would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beach getaway!

Great place to stay. The place is situated at one of topmost points of the resort with an amazing view. The place was very clean and had all the amenities. The resort is constructed on a hill like all other beach resorts in Costa Rica. It has a lot of facilities like restaurants, pool, shuttle, mini mart/souvenir shpp etc. The staff at the reception were very helpful. It is close by to quite a few local restaurants. The shuttle can take you to the Hermosa beach as well. The only thing we got to know after reaching at the place was that the parking was at a different point than the villa and the roads inside the property are really narrow and mostly one way streets. The parking was a few mins uphill from the villa. We were originally asked to park downhill and Karen helped us and suggested we park at another spot which was closer and more convenient. Karen was proactive to tell us that there are raccoons and hence sliding doors should be kept locked. Would recommend this place for sure.

Camille and her mom are wonderful hosts. The house was like a beautiful dream. It smelled so good every time I entered. The pool was always clean. I saw many animals. We didn't want to leave, but we would definitely come back again with my family to stay longer. The nature, the animals, the birds—I was truly happy there. I recommend that future guests be aware that if the directions don't lead you past Flamingo Beach, you might be on the wrong path. It's better to take the longer route to be sure.

We had an AMAZING stay Casa Mono CR! This place is an absolute gem. To start, the property owners, (Matt & Barri) are extremely nice people. They are easy to work with, super accommodating, responsive and are just good people! As for the property, it was spotless, new and full of amenities. This place has everything you need to be comfortable for any length of stay. The location is breathtaking and the amount of wild animals we saw was so cool. Monkeys, iguanas, geckos, birds, kept us searching for wildlife our entire visit. The pool was also a hit with us. They had great wifi, comfortable beds and so much more. We stayed at three places during our visit to Costa Rica and this place was the best by far! If we ever get back to this beautiful country, this will be the only place I stay. You won’t regret booking The Palms! A private, quiet retreat that was upscale and away from the hustle and bustle and party scene of some of the other Pacific Costa Rican beach towns. As a family of 5 with 3 kids ranging from 8-13 yrs old, the size of the condo was great, the kids enjoyed swimming in the waves at the beach, boogie boarding, and playing in the infinity pool with stunning beach views and sunsets. The grounds were beautiful and the staff was very attentive and kind. The bartender made me a drink off menu simply because I asked for something “uniquely Costa Rican!” The condo itself was well-stocked with staples to make for such a convenient stay. It’s even better than we imagined. There was a hiccup at check-in which caused some stress and a maintenance issue, but the Palms and host quickly made things right which was very appreciated.

Our stay in Potrero was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and care. Francisco was absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Amy was extremely communicative throughout the entire process, always available to answer questions and offer helpful local recommendations. The home had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable—truly a home away from home. The pool was nice and refreshing, a wonderful addition that made relaxing after a day of exploring even better. One of the absolute highlights of our trip was the sunset experience in Las Catalinas and dining at Sentido Norte. Do yourself a favor and make time for both. The views are breathtaking, and the food and atmosphere at Sentido Norte are top-notch. We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for an authentic, relaxing, and well-hosted Costa Rican getaway!

The home is beautiful with gorgeous views, a refreshing pool, and a nice outdoor area to relax. Each of the bedrooms were private and perfect for couples/groups traveling together. We had an incident while we were staying at the home and Priscilla from the property management went way above and beyond to help us as did the owners. This was the most positive experience I have had with an Air BnB. 5+ stars!

This place is a gem! The location is perfect for exploring the area, the house is stylish and comfortable, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend it!

The view of this house was breathtaking. We enjoyed visiting the town of Tamarindo & seeing the sunset. If you are looking for authentic Costa Rican food make sure to visit the Sodas (what all their small restaurants are called). We enjoyed every single one of them & are very reasonably priced. We visited playa Conchal which was my favorite beach & not far but also did the Leona waterfall hike and zip lining which was so much fun & beautiful. After our activities we were able to come home to our fresh and clean airbnb and dip in the pool then end the night with Netflix or a TV series. We didn’t have the swing which would’ve been a nice photo prop, but that’s alright. We hope to come back again but with our family or friends, we love Costa Rica so much. My husband really bonded with John the security & would enjoy their night talks. We loved how he greeted us with a smile. We will miss him. Gracias amigo y saludos. I recently spent an incredible 40 days in Tamarindo, Costa Rica, while exploring investment opportunities, and this has been my favorite stay by far. The host was incredibly attentive, and the housekeeper ensured everything was pristine and welcoming throughout my visit breakfast is offered daily and was exceptional. The luxury property is beautifully situated, offering a breathtaking bird's-eye view of the lush forests and the ocean below. The layout features two separate casitas and one primary bedroom in the main house, providing ample space and privacy. The stunning kitchen and living area overlook the infinity pool, creating a perfect backdrop for relaxation and entertaining. Access to the house is gated and easy, making for a secure and comfortable experience. I truly felt at home during my stay. If you're considering a visit to Costa Rica, I highly recommend booking this property without hesitation!
