Family-friendly vacation rentals in Pieve A Nievole

If I could move in here permanently, I would. What a gorgeous stay with responsive and respectful hosts. Everything was as described, the hot tub was glorious, and we loved looking through the binder of photos of painstaking restoration over the years.

We had a truly wonderful stay – for all five of us! The house and the outdoor area were absolutely beautiful, even better than in the pictures. Everything was spotless, charming, well maintained, and well equipped. The garden was stunning, and the whole place felt peaceful and private. Ilaria and Francesco were the kindest hosts – helpful, responsive, and incredibly welcoming. We’re already thinking about coming back for a summer holiday (the pool and AC are perfect!). Great location for day trips to Pisa and Florence, and there are lovely restaurants nearby. It was an amazing birthday trip and really good value. We loved this place so much!! We got to pick some fresh vegetables and cook our own dinner and take in the views of the beautiful mountains. Our host was so friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to go back in October!!

I can not say enough about Alessandra and her amazing land! It was the most magical place we have ever been to. We are taking a 3 month trip, hitting up 21 cities in Europe and this is BY far the best! She was so kind and took us shopping and back to our train! She was always there when we needed her.thank you Alessandra we will see you next year!

Beatrice was an amazing host. She was very responsive to our questions and always very helpful with suggestions and recommendations. This was the perfect place for our group of 8 adults for 2 weeks. The location was perfect for visiting various sites around Tuscany. Florence, Cortona, Siena and Pisa. The nearby town of Greve had some nice little restaurants for lunch/dinner. After a long day of sightseeing we would gather on the patio to have charcuterie and wine. Or gather at the family style dining table each evening. We highly recommend having Beatrice provide a home cooked meal, it was excellent! There are several wineries and olive oil tastings in the area. We took advantage of many of them. Overall we were very happy and very comfortable with our stay. We highly recommend staying here. If we ever come back we are definitely staying here again. You'll definitely get the true feel of Tuscany.

Awesome place to stay if you are looking for privacy and nature going hand in hand in the beautiful chalet surrounded by peaceful calmness and a relaxing atmosphere. Maria who is a very friendly Host was always helpful and responded very quickly if we had questions and we are thankful for whole service (with the car :) We recommend the chalet a 10/10 and would revisit it anytime again !

Our stay at Giacomo's was very nice. We were a group of 6 and had good space in and around the house. The kitchen had everything relevant, the beds are comfortable and the garden is mega large and beautiful. Giacomo and his parents are very nice people, we even received a cake which was very very tasty. Giacomo also gave us tips for the area and accommodated our needs. We thank Giacomo and his parents for the lovely stay!

Highly recommended. Absolutely stunning scenery and location. Daniele was a great host, and we was well looked after. If we go to North Italy again, we will definitely book to stay.

This beautiful property on the outskirts of Lucca was perfect for our 3 couples. Driving our large van was a challenge on the small roads, but the countryside was beautiful and quiet.

Please do yourself a favour and book this place! Franco and his family are amazing hosts, the appartment looks even better in person and it is perfect for a romantic getaway. We had questioned ourselves whether it would be a downside to live together with more people on the property, but this turned out to be more of an advantage than anything. It felt like having very friendly neighbours, and we never felt like we had less personal space as a result. On top of this, the neighbouring towns are great for day trips and restaurants. So take the opportunity to enjoy this airbnb gem :) (someone mentioned the internet did not work, but this is fixed now)

Our stay at the small cottage was amazing. If you want some peace and quiet in a beautiful rural area, this is the place to go to. It is very private and the best thing for us was the private and completely fenced garden. Our dog could roam free all day with no worry of losing him in the very large garden, which had plenty of nice sitting areas. The outdoor kitchen was well equipped with a bbq and stone oven. The view of the horses and foal in the field next to the garden made our stay magical.

Very beautiful place to stay. Definitely recommend taking the cooking class.

We will definitely be back! The location is about 30-40 minutes from the main city in Florence. Federico recommended we rent a car but we didn’t want to drive in an area we were unfamiliar with. We were provided with the bus schedule which was very easy to take to the city. We planned ahead and bought some groceries in Florence before heading back to the property. We got lucky with getting taxis at the property to eat at a nearby restaurant (Ristorante San Martino) but it wasn’t as convenient as getting one in Florence (had to wait a bit). The place was just as described, very relaxing and just what we wanted! All in all a great experience. We were so sad to leave!

Lovely stay in Tuscany! Patrizia had started a warming fire going for us in the fireplace upon arrival, as the weather was chilly and rainy. The house was very cozy, artistically decorated, and well appointed -- it made us feel very much at home away from home. Gorgeous views of Tuscany from the bedroom windows, and a well cared for garden which had lemons, rosemary, basil and many flowering plants. Patrizia was the absolute best hostess and provided for all our needs during our stay. There was plenty of room for everybody in the house, and there was even a lovely little kitchen which was fully stocked (salt, pepper, spices, coffee, milk, and more!). Note there is not an oven, but we were able to cook breakfast every day, and even a few dinner meals for our small group in the mini kitchen (there is a mini fridge which fit a lot of perishable food for its size!, and a small induction stove top). Thank you for the perfect stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Fransesca! It is a beautiful location, ideal to relax and unwind. Fransesca is very friendly and is very helpful. We got to taste the delicious honey. We definitely recommend this stay!

Very nice apartment with mezzanine bedroom. Large terrace with a magnificent view of the vineyards. Ideally located to visit Florence, Pisa whether by car or train from Empoli. The pluses, the pool is very pleasant after a day of sightseeing and dinner organized to taste local dishes 😋 In short, great stay at Sandra's!

We stayed at Patricia's beautiful property which is a lovely old farmhouse, set in a peaceful countryside location but which is walkable to a town with shops, bars and a restaurant. The property has plenty of space and is filled with character. There was pleasant outside seating, a bbq with additional seating area, pool, gardens and off road parking. Patrizia was very helpful and kind and always on hand/email to answer any questions. The property was good value and we would be very happy to return to the property again.

This is a wonderful place which was absolutely perfect for our special family holiday. We felt very welcome and at home. Pierluigi was great, a super host. He always responded promptly and his local knowledge was invaluable. He put us in touch with Chef Nicole, who cooked a superb meal, which we would highly recommend. The house is spacious, tastefully furnished with a rustic charm. The views are stunning and the swimming pool is the cherry on top. Overall, fantastic!

A beautiful villa with exceptional views to the hills and valley. Various oudoor areas. Private location however close to sights and amenities. Cafes and restaurants not far however not walking distance, best accessed by own car. Electric bikes were available for sightseeing. Fantastic host, always responsive and helpful. Can warmly recommend.

Lovely place to stay. Guilana was an amazing, very friendly, welcoming host. The space was exactly what I was looking for. The pool and garden area is sooo beautiful 😍 nice quiet, clean and cozy space. Absolutely loved my stay ☺️ highly recommend 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟❤️

Cristina is a lovely host and the place is beautiful. I’d highly recommend the breakfast that Cristina makes completely fresh!! The swimming pool is immaculate and the whole atmosphere of the place is just lovely. We spent 5 nights here with 2 children (17 and 13) and will definitely return if we ever stay in Tuscany again. We absolutely loved our stay at this property in Reggello! The hosts were so warm and communicative—they greeted us upon arrival and gave us a full walkthrough of the home! The view was stunning, and the pool was beautiful and very clean. Aldo even came by each morning to clean it before we used it, which was such a thoughtful touch. Everything in the house worked perfectly—the Wi-Fi was fast, all the appliances and lighting functioned well, and we had no issues during our stay. The drive from Florence was easy (we had a rental car), and it made exploring nearby wineries and towns super convenient. We also LOVED their on-site farmers market. It was their own personal setup with wines, olive oil, jams, and other homemade goods -- plus fresh produce like eggs, garlic, artichoke, & shallots, which they generously offered free of charge. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic escape in the Tuscan countryside!

Il Paluffo was a beautiful place in the Tuscan hills. Stilla, our accommodation, was relaxing and provided most everything we needed. The views were amazing and the staff friendly. The highlight of our stay was the cooking class with Monica. She was a burst of energy and patient as she guided us through a 4-course meal. It was absolutely delicious and plentiful. I would stay a Il Paluffo again and recommend to anyone.
