One of the best rental properties we have ever used for all sorts of reasons. Nicola was an excellent host who was always very responsive and helpful. The house is set away from a tiny village in a quiet part of the region but this was perfect for us. Lots of space for our two children to play in. The property has been appointed beautifully. I would not hesitate returning.

Great stay in a charming environment near the river - Terry & John were very discrete. We absolutely loved the Jeux de Boulde terrain in the yard and the cosy pizza baking area.

Wonderful stay in a perfectly equipped house, extremely clean and where everything or almost everything is in new condition. Michelle was very attentive, welcoming and responsive. We especially enjoyed the pool and hot tub!

We chose Janine and Mario’s cottage for our 4 week stay as we didn’t know the area and thought we’d like to try Limousin. We chose Janailhac only because it has a depot de pain and a small bar restaurant (both very welcoming)! In reality it far exceeded our hopes. Janine and Mario are great, friendly, kind and supportive hosts who are determined to give their visitors the best possible stay. They provided lots of helpful information about the many interesting and historic villages and restaurants and markets largely within a 25 mile radius so plenty of places to visit. Janailhac is a tiny, pretty, friendly farming village of beautiful rolling fields (and a SuperU at 4 miles). Quiet nights and clean air meant we slept better than in years. The cottage is large and comfortable with a pellet boiler heating system so we were never chilly plus a large open fire place and 2 great hot showers. Well stocked for children with toys, high chair, cot and even a buggy. Highly recommended!

Géraldine's large family home perfectly matched our family gathering, a large living room where folding tables and chairs could be added, there was a foosball table, much appreciated by everyone. Large rooms where young parents were able to install the BB folding bed and a small mattress. Perfect bathrooms. Everything was very clean, the equipment like the linen provided. We had a great time and were able to enjoy Géraldine's tips for visits (at the farmer's house and the farmers' house) and walks along the river or on the hiking trails. No time to do everything, we hope to be able to organize a new meeting there! Thanks for the welcome basket, appreciated too! A good place to remember and recommend! Thank you Géraldine!

Isabelle is a lovely person who is responsive and helpful. The gite was bright and cheerful and ideally situated for my husbands sculpture course in Vihonneur. It offered lots of lovely walks in the surrounding countryside. Rochefaucauld is a beautiful place and is only minutes away by car. I would highly recommend Isabelle's place to others.

Absolutely fantastic location, superb property, great host. Would recommend this as THE place to stay in Perigaux ..everything within easy reach and the Saturday market right outside the front door was truly a wonderful experience. Magnificent in every way.

It went very well. Laurent's instructions for getting to the apartment were very clear. Very good communication. The apartment is very good and in line with the description. We are on Limoges for a 3-day sports competition that was canceled after a day because of the weather and Laurent requested a refund for the 3rd night. He didn't have to. Thanks again.

Perfect for the night I made!

Very good stay spent at Jérémy's. The place is in a great location. We were able to walk to the city center, cinema, market (Saturday morning); all about a 10-15 minute walk away. The apartment is clean, well-equipped and decorated. We felt really good there. The little extra, the small terrace where you can eat for two. The residence is quiet. In short, everything was perfect. Thank you Jérémy!

Great week at Anne-Marie's who takes great care of her tenants! What kindness and availability! We loved the cottage with a beautiful pool and great views of the valley! We can't thank Anne-Marie enough for her good tips and ideas for visits!

A great location- easy to get to anywhere in town but also out of town. The apartment works out well as a businesses trip & vacation accommodation. I stayed for a week and it truly felt like a comfortable "home away from home". Free parking right in front of the apartment helps a lot.

Great hosting by Adeline, the listing was as described. We came to enjoy the nearby bike park and the location was great. Big plus for bikes: the covered barn to store and take care of bikes. We will come back without hesitation!

Paula’s place was just what we needed. It was private and peaceful, clean and warm enough. Close to couple of restaurants and a town with all amenities. Paula was friendly and very responsive. We had everything we needed to make dinner apart from salt. Would definitely say it was great value for money.

We loved staying in Nathalies apartment. It is really cozy and very well equipped. The area is a quiet residential neighborhood, but still close to all amenities.

I stayed one night at this place and overall it was a great experience. The directions to find the place were very clear, which made the arrival simple and stress-free, even in the middle of the night thanks to the self-check-in — really convenient! The place was spotless, very clean and there was a pleasant smell from the entrance. I also really appreciated the small touches with the candy, tea and coffee, it was really nice. Only small downsides: a little noise from the neighbors, including a dog on the ground floor, which can be annoying if you are a light sleeper. And the towels had a slight musty smell, as if they hadn't dried well. Despite this, I recommend this listing for a comfortable and well thought-out stopover!
