Apartment vacation rentals in Petten

Maaike and Jeroen were lovely hosts, making us feel welcome in their historic monument home. With 40 chickens, two rabbits, one cat, and one dog, we felt like we were one with nature. We had a safe place in the barn for our bicycles, and there was everything we could ask for to cook nice meals. Fresh flowers on the table and treats in the cupboards, we felt really spoiled. The bed was the biggest we‘ve seen in a long time, and it was extremely comfortable. There were giant tulip fields to the left and right of the house. The sunsets were glorious and make for taking endless photographs.

The communication with the owner was fast and friendly. We had some trouble to finding the accommodation because the signage on camping place was confusing. The accommodation was clean and equipped as described; everything was fine. We had a problem with the mattresses in the master bedroom; they moved apart during sleeping. Overall, we were satisfied with the accommodation.

The apartment and courtyard fully corresponded to the information and published pictures. Very clean, tastefully and lovingly furnished, lots of little extras. Very quiet location, within walking distance to the center. Machteld welcomed us very nicely, is always approachable and has good tips for excursions, food, etc.

Frank welcomed us warmly in his great apartment and gave us a nice little tour of the premises. He was available 24/7 and had even given us various tips and excursion destinations before arrival, which were tailored to our preferences. The apartment was neat, clean and there was really NOTHING missing! The area is nice and quiet, few tourists and a beautiful, clean and spacious beach. Perfect also for our dog. Our highlight was the nearby town of Alkmar with its market and also the CSD Pride Parade on the water, which we happened to come across. Absolutely recommended and super nice residents. All in all our stay was perfect. It couldn't have been better and we are sad that the short vacation is already over. We will definitely come back if we felt right at home. Rene's apartment was a great place to stay with secure parking, a nice enclosed backyard for that quiet drink after a hard day's travel, and every convenience in the apartment. Great that it was on ground level too with no steps to climb. Rene was a very gracious host and provided lots of suggestions on where to go. Alkmaar is a lovely town just a short walk away - the Stadskaffee Laurens is a good first stop as it serves half price coffee for that morning pickup. If you combine the Zuiderzeemuseum at nearby Enkhuizen (boat museum with an outdoor folk museum) with a stop at the Museummolen on the way, you will see some real history (much cheaper than Zaanse Schans). Definitely recommended!

We stayed at the "Wijze Uil" for two weeks and had a wonderful vacation. Jeanet's beautiful old house is lovingly renovated and tastefully and comfortably furnished. The large garden with many seats is a dream and on the terrace you can enjoy the day. An appealing home for a relaxing vacation with a dog in a beautiful setting. The small town of Schoorl with gastronomy and shopping is within walking distance. The dunes and the forest start right behind the house and invite you for walks. Jeanet is an uncomplicated and friendly host and always approachable. We felt very comfortable and will come back next year.

Laurens was so friendly and responsive! His place is in a great location and was super clean. Highly recommend staying here!

We enjoyed the accommodation very much. The apartment including kitchen is very well equipped, the sauna in the bathroom is a great luxury after cool walks. Nelleke's hospitality is exceptional. Highly recommended! We will be happy to come back!

Our second time at Sebastian’s wonderful Airbnb. This location is perfect as it’s quiet and yet very near the busier sections of town. Sebastian is a terrific host and everything is as described. He is very friendly and makes sure all is well:-) You will not find a better property !

Always happy to come back….. The apartment is a dream. Super nicely furnished, centrally located and the sauna an absolute highlight to end the day. Maik really thought of everything and prepared it with a lot of love. We will be happy to come back!!!

Great place in Amsterdam. The canal house was very unique and historic and the art was fantastic. Host was very easy to communicate with.

Wonderful peaceful place to stay!

The apartment was absolutely wonderful and it felt really special to stay somewhere so beautiful. The view from the window, across the canal made it extra special. Lots to see and do within walking distance, with excellent places to eat or just stop off for coffee and a cake. Our host was really helpful and check in and check out was seamless. Would absolutely recommend.

I had a super nice stay in Eva's apartment! A beautiful, spacious house that is equipped with all comforts. I thought the cheerful Blond tableware was a nice detail! In addition, the location is ideal: the station and the city center are close by, and the house offers the perfect base for a nice walk along the canals. In addition, Eva was easily accessible and responded to messages very quickly. I can recommend this apartment to anyone!

We slept three nights at Bubblehouse. The hosting was super warm. Yvonne was available and very friendly throughout our stay. The house and location are simply beautiful. The beautiful tranquility of the countryside surrounded by tulip fields. My partner and I recommend it!

Lovely farm stay away from home, favourite part was seeing the cows from the bedroom and kitchen window. hot tub was lovely and clean too.

Just amazed with the place. My wife always wanted to get back to the comfortable home early during our visit. The host gave a clear instruction, very quick response as well as very kind welcome treatment for our delayed honeymoon. We absolutely loved the fully equipped kitchen, jacuzzi bathtub and rooftop terrace where we had breakfast and dinner every night. 100% recommended.

I absolutely loved my stay at Johanneke‘s place. Immediately as you walk out the front door, you are in Ten Kate Mart with tons of food stalls lining the street. Just 3min walk away is Foodhallen, where you’ll find a local artisans market plus food and drink options that are open late into the evening. The neighborhood was vibrant during the day and early evening but still felt private and I enjoyed having a quiet place with a beautiful and serene backyard. It was very easy to walk to public transit should I choose to take the tram, or could easily to Vondelpark or Jordaan neighborhood to see more sites. Johanneke was a great host and very proactive with information and checking in. I would book her place again and again!

We stayed in Timo's apartment for a week. This week was one of the best for us, and the apartment only made it more beautiful. Incredibly spacious, clean, incredibly cozy apartment. So many beautiful elements of art throughout the apartment, selected with taste and love, without anything superfluous. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need. We were happy to spend time in it. Sometimes we thought about why our city program was so dense and busy, because we really wanted to spend more time in a cozy home. Ideal objective value for money. Our communication with Timo was incredibly friendly, he is a very responsive, kind, attentive and caring host, it was a pleasure to communicate with him. All our issues were resolved as quickly, easily and with care as possible. Would we come back again? Of course. Thank you very much for everything🩷

We stayed in the apartment for a weekend and felt very comfortable. With the bikes you could easily reach the nearby metro station and we had a good time in Amsterdam. The landlords were very friendly and always easily accessible. I highly recommend this place for Amsterdam stays.

We lived at Frank's place for 3 nights, everything was as described, clean and orderly! The checkin was really nice, easy and he was flexible with the time👌 Nothing else to say that this was a perfect place to stay if you are interested in seeing Amsterdam. And if you want to make food there and have a relaxing evening, you have everything you need. So i will say that you can have a relaxing and safe stay at Frank's place! 10/10⭐️

We spent a week before Easter at Thildy's and felt very comfortable in the apartment. It is comfortably furnished and there is everything you need for a vacation. Everything was clean, the kitchen well equipped. Communication with Thildy was very good.
