We had a great weekend in the countryside at Helen and Jim's. The house is lovely, our hosts are pleasant and available, and the surrounding countryside offers great walks!

I rented this place for my dad who was traveling for work and everything went well, Rémi is very kind and responsive, the accommodation was great thank you very much!

Perfectly equipped and extremely clean coquettish house. Comfortable. Very responsive and accommodating host. Very close to the train station, the Cité de la BD and the historic center on foot. Very quiet. I would definitely recommend.

The accommodation available for rent offers a magical/intimate/cocooning atmosphere just like your beautiful garden. The accommodation is clean, well-equipped, the interior is fragrant, the bedding comfortable, the most comfortable cushions I have known in my entire life! This stay was pleasant, peaceful and allowed us to reconnect with nature. We enjoyed the countryside and visited the surroundings. There is a ✨ Ranch called Bel Air nearby which is amazing, a medieval town Pujols which is splendid and surely full of other wonders to discover in the surroundings. Quiet, authentic, strong nature, superb view, relaxing, far from the hustle and bustle, in a word, great. Herman, present when needed with great discretion, kindness defines him well too.

My time at Le Petite Chouette was utterly magical. I stayed for a month and fully recharged my soul in this peaceful, beautiful spot surrounded by nature. Ania and Mark are so kind and attentive, and the gite has everything you could possible imagine for your comfort and well-being. The kitchen has everything you might need for cooking, and my favorite part is the bed, as it was more comfortable than hotel beds with crisp fresh linens and even an electric blanket for a cozy night. I’ll never forget my peaceful evenings in front of the fire (thank you for generously supplying wood!) my long walks to chateau Lavauguyon and the village, excursions to Site de Peyrassoulat, my visits to the contemporary art and meteorite museums in Rochechouart, and my lovely chats with Ania, Mark, their sweet dogs, and the chickens! I am forever grateful for what this stay has done for my spirit! I highly recommend this place if you want deep rest!

A great stay at Christiane and Pierre's! We came to spend a relaxing weekend away from the city as a couple and were not disappointed. The hosts are lovely and have been very accommodating regarding check-in and check-out times. The place was spotless, with small welcome gifts (thank you again!) and everything you need for the stay. We particularly appreciated the calm and privacy of the accommodation as well as Leo, the garden donkey and the sheep! The spa was very nice (and already heated on arrival!) and spacious. We highly recommend this place for a break in Périgord! Thanks again for hosting us.

We had a great week at Nicolas's! The accommodation is very modern and very beautiful with superb travertine floors. From the accommodation everything is on foot to the hyper center of Bergerac. An Intermarché is 50 meters away!

We had a fantastic vacation at this most beautiful home. Lots of space, decorated with great taste and really nice furniture, a huge park and beautiful surroundings. At our welcome there were even fresh flowers (lily of the valley) on the table in the living room. What a lovely touch! The hosts are super nice, accessible in case of need, and discreet if you want to be by yourself. We immedeately felt at home and had a wonderful time. The house itself is just stunning. It felt to us like a time capsule we were so lucky to be allowed to live in for ten days. And everything was sparkling clean. Our kids (9 and 11) had a great time, too. The hosts were most charming and child friendly. They showed us around the estate, invited us (and the children) to roam and even feed the horse on the meadow. All in all, this was the best holiday experience we ever had (and we had a bunch of fairly nice ones so far). A huge thank you to Marie-Laurence and Daniel. We would love to go there again!

We are just home from a wonderful stay! The place was incredibly private and peaceful—perfect for the relaxing family getaway we wanted. The pool and golf green were so much fun and feeding the chickens was a highlight of the holiday for the kids. Jean-Claude and Monica were absolutely lovely, super welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Always going above and beyond. Everything was clean, well-kept, and just as described. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable retreat in the countryside.

We stayed as two couples in this beautifully restored barn conversion. Isabelle welcomed us with drinks and nibbles in the shared kitchen (outdoor space) and very kindly took time to give lots of recommendations for dining and shopping. Although the weather had cooled a little, we still enjoyed some swims in the lovely ‘infinity’ pool. The accommodation is just as described/pictured with one bedroom and en-suite upstairs and the other bedroom, shower room and toilet on the ground floor. All clean, and freshly decorated and with everything you need as a base to explore the surrounding Bastide villages, or just to relax and enjoy views and sounds of the rolling countryside. We recommend a stay at Valeilles and Isabelle as a perfect host, we would certainly return.
