Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Penne-d'Agenais

We stayed for 10 nights as 5 adults and 3 kids all under the age of 5. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the size of space and facilities available were excellent and we felt right at home. The cellar was a big hit with the adults and we all enjoyed the pool day and night. Plenty of nice villages and towns within driving distance if you want to get out and explore which we did on several occasions. Rachel will keep you right with plenty of local tips and info she’s a great host. I’m sure we will be back, thanks again

Beautiful and spacious home in quiet village. Le Centenaire restaurant was walkable and provided good food and drink. Loved the farmhouse table in the kitchen and we spent many meals there or on the deck table. Many hot air balloons over the deck in the evenings. Kitchen was very well stocked for in home food preparation. Beds very comfortable. Very clean and well appointed.

Super nice stay wonderfully quiet nice cottage with a nice fenced garden ! In short, repeatable !!

We were welcomed by Didier one night. It was warm and thoughtful because he bought us a “survival kit” for breakfast and recommended us the exceptional places to visit…this area is a real favorite. The cottage is great, you feel at home very quickly with the spacious living room and its superb fireplace, the comfortable bedding, as well as the hot tub that served every day. The outside is amazing, it's in the middle of the quiet greenery, where crickets accompany our days and evenings. The cottage is equipped for children…toys, books, bikes, swings and slides. A stone's throw from the Château de Bonaguil, it's easy to enjoy one of the most beautiful castles in the area as well as the restaurant downstairs. Didier, thank you so much for this week, it was perfect!

Nathalie and Tim were such extraordinary hosts! My family and I had a wonderful time staying in their beautiful home! The house itself is perfect for cooking, relaxing, and spending time together. We were able to enjoy the wonderful gardens and the pool all day and watch the sunset from our patio each evening. Such a stunning and relaxing atmosphere. The best part was how well taken care of we felt all week. Nathalie helped organize a tour of local vineyards, scheduled a wine tasting by the pool, and cooked dinner for us all on 2 evenings. She also had great local restaurant and market recommendations! We also loved our morning chocolatines and croissants! They were extremely kind and accommodating throughout the trip - delivering bottles of wine when we ran short, lending us a pot so that we could cook a big stew one night, and even working a miracle helping me removing a grenadine stain from a white dress I bought at a local market. I can’t recommend this wonderful home enough!

Great place to stay in monflanquin, right next to the main square and a fantastic view from the terrace. Really good value for money and suited exactly what we needed. Would recommend

Gorgeous little spot for a week away. We had such a lovely time, the children loved the pool and the area is beautiful with lots to do. The house is lovely and very well equipped, the only thing that let the place down was that all of the pillows are /so thin & flat, and it’s pretty much like sleeping with no pillows. For the money we paid this just let the place down for me a little, a good nights sleep is quite essential on holiday. Minus that, the place is perfect.

We had a memorable week at this stunning Dordogne home. We felt looked after in every way, the house is really beautiful filled with quality appliances, linen, towels and stylish interior design. The garden was full of flowers, the setting is magical we absolutely loved the outside dining, the breakfast room and the well equipped kitchen. Views, hot air balloons drifting by and a walk to the chateau up above us was amazing. Highly recommend Sandrine and Franck have created a home away from home. Would love to go back. A wonderful stay in French Tuscany We spent a wonderful time in a charming gîte in French Tuscany. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome. Samuel and Louise are excellent hosts, always available for a chat or to help where needed, but also respect your privacy. The gîte itself is located in a beautiful, quiet area. Ideal for walking, cycling, visiting villages. The stay is extremely neat and well maintained. The gîte is equipped with more than enough towels, the kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to cook for yourself, and there is even a barbecue available for cozy evenings outside. What made our stay extra special were the delicious tables d'hôtes that Samuel and Louise organized. The food was delicious! We would absolutely recommend this gîte to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in a beautiful setting. Thank you, Samuel and Louise!

We had an exceptional stay at Gite Castelmac. The hosts Keith and Jeanne offer an entirely equipped appartment, tastefully decorated, including extremely comfortable fresh bed linnens. The shared garden and pool are stunning and accessible at all times, even for a dip late at night! A big plus is the location of the gite: situated right at the edge of the village, you are at walking distance to cafes and restaurants. Keith and Jeanne are graceous and generous hosts with great advice on visits and activities in the region. We highly recommend staying here!

We just spent a few days at this amazing apartment in La Roque-Gageac. The place is in a building several hundreds of years old, renovated with lots of taste, beautiful and modern bathrooms, a lovely courtyard with tables and chairs to relax in, comfortable beds. Adrien and Marion are a wonderful couple that welcomed us warmly. Our children loved their gentle dog, Indi - we loved the restaurant next door. The perfect place for a glass of wine and a taste of their remarkable food! Right in the center of la Roque-Gageac, loads of things to do such as hikes, castle visits, going to markets, cooking class, biking and canoeing (what we couldn’t do due to poor weather conditions). I highly recommend staying here! All the best to Adrien and Marion!

The apartment is right in the middle of a beautiful village, and everything you could want is just steps away. There are several different markets that take place in the square that the apartment looks out over. The flat is large and well-equipped, but the kitchen stands out. It is large and has every kind of kitchen gadget that you can imagine. There are many many things to do and see in the village and within thirty or forty minutes drive. It is really an ideal location.

Excellent stay in La Frog that whistles, clean accommodation, well-equipped, comfortable bedding, very pleasant environment in the middle of nature, calm and peaceful. Responsive and available hosts. Central location allows easy access to all tourist spots in the area.

A big THANK YOU to Jane and Tony for sharing their little slice of heaven with us. Everything was there for us to have a dream stay. The accommodation is impeccably clean, as is the pool which is beautiful, located a few meters from the private terrace at your disposal with barbecue. The location of the accommodation is ideal for admiring the sunsets and the landscape as far as the eye can see. Jane and Tony are people of great kindness, great discretion, responsive and always concerned about the comfort of their guests. We can't wait for the next vacation so we can go back if we return to this beautiful area. I would highly recommend it.

This Villa was perfect in every way for our short stay. It is a beautifully appointed villa with a fantastic garden & pool area. Ideal for the family to just relax in the surroundings and enjoy. Pure bliss and highly recommended.

Our group of six thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely Airbnb. Our host greeted us when we arrived and provided us with some very appreciated treats. We enjoyed relaxing outside by the pool which was surrounded by a beautiful garden. Our host was very responsive when communicating with us. We appreciated the thoughtful attention to detail this home provided.

Beautiful home where the living is good around the pool, outside or inside. Huge rooms, the kitchen too. Everything is provided, it's nice to arrive and be able to enjoy the pool directly. In short, everything is there to have a great vacation!!!

We had a short stay at Pierre's but it was successful. The accommodation is nice and we slept well there. Pierre was receptive to our request for late check-in because of the big traffic jams encountered on the highway on Friday evening, the day before the extended weekend. Just a small downside, we only communicated via the airbnb site, fortunately downloaded on the phone, which is not super simple when you don't have alerts like me. You have to log in to the mailbox or the Airbnb website every time. I'm a little sorry that Pierre didn't give me his mobile number, it would have been simpler and more friendly. This is the first time in my many Airbnb rentals. I was a little surprised that my request for a phone number went unanswered. We arrived late and left early the day after and had no direct contact, unfortunately.

We had a lovely week here. It’s so beautiful and peaceful and the house is great- inside and out but especially the garden and pool. Our kids loved it!

We had a great time in this atypical and charming house. Very well-equipped, comfortable and perfectly in line with the listing. A real little cocoon, ideal for recharging your batteries. Responsive and welcoming host. We'll be happy to go back!
