Family-friendly vacation rentals in Penne-d'Agenais

This is a lovely villa. The indoor areas are excellent but the outdoors is where it all happens and the pool and surrounding areas are excellent. This is beautiful part of France, particularly so if you like a peaceful countryside setting where you can make as much noise as you wish and nobody can hear. Bernard comes every morning to clean the pool and remove any issues - we had a wasps nest which was a problem and he was there that evening sorting it out.

With my spouse and our 2 dogs, we had a very pleasant week. Despite the uncertain weather, the place, the building, the land, allowed us to rest in an idyllic setting. Jean-François was a great host and very friendly with our dogs. This house is a real favorite! The hot tub and private pool are real corners of paradise. The property is conveniently located between 10 and 20 minutes from shops, activities or places to visit. A beautiful area! Thanks again for the warm hosting, looking forward to coming back next time.

Accommodation above our expectations, everything is thought out and made for a stress-free stay, there is just to put your bags down and enjoy the area . Didier has attention to detail, the accommodation is fully equipped, the typical stone building of the area is beautiful and in a quiet environment. We stayed in the cottage with our two children (4 and 2 years old). An umbrella bed and high chair were provided and everything you need is available. Our son loved the pirate boat! Marion and Arnauld are very friendly and great hosts. They make sure everything is to your liking. They live in the hamlet with their three children and are very welcoming but they leave you space to enjoy in peace. When our little girl was sick, they immediately helped find solutions. Beautiful, well-maintained pool in the shade of the trees. We also enjoyed the SPA. Good facilities, very relaxing, under the trees and overlooking the fields. Highly recommended for full relaxation. Lots of beautiful excursions and nice villages nearby. We would recommend Tournonzen without hesitation!

We spent four nights at Aline and Serge's, who were very welcoming. Despite the rain and cool weather, we fully enjoyed our vacation. The kids had a great time with the swing and trampoline. Although we did not want to use the spa because of the bad weather, we enjoyed the large grounds, walks near the river, and an outing to the nearby Pradine leisure park, where the children loved tree climbing. We also brought our cat, who also seemed to enjoy the stay lol! Thank you again for your warm welcome. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and pleasant time.

Just a perfect gite to be in the center of Issigeac. Bells from the church next door offer music in the morning til 11 pm. Walkable to everything. Lovely patio/garden. Rain kept us from enjoying it. Liked the bedrooms upstairs , and nice stairs, by the way!

I had a lovely time with my friends in this beautiful home. We loved the pool and this beautiful view, we enjoyed it from morning to sunset. Kim is very available, she sent us clear recommendations and explanations, it was a pleasure to talk with her. The air conditioning in the rooms as well as the sauna and hot tub are a real plus for a summer stay like ours. Finally, we loved seeing the pony stroll through the garden when we woke up.

Quite a wonderful week spent in Truffle. The house has everything you need, the setting is heavenly, the pool (and view) are to die for, and there are so many things to do within easy striking distance. Carolyn and Jerry were excellent hosts. 100 percent recommend both the house and the area if you are looking for a relaxing week in the Dordogne.

Our family of 6 and our dog stayed at Le Fournet Bas for one week. The place looks even better in real life than it did in the photos - rustic charm with modern facilities. The bedrooms worked really well — boys in the twin, girls in the double and we had the “old bread oven” annex. The saltwater pool was delightful, clean and well-maintained. The barbecue area was excellent and well-used throughout our week. We would recommend renting electric bikes from the nearby FatVelo - a great way to spend a morning/day. Also Chateau de Bonaguil is very close and well worth a visit. Nearby St-Martin-le-Redon is a beautiful little village, and Puy L’Évêque is also well worth a visit. Christine and Gérard were very welcoming and helpful and resolved any little questions quickly and without any fuss. All-in-all, a fantastic place to spend a relaxing week.

A great stay. We spent a week in this tastefully renovated country house! Everything is there! The parents of the hosts welcomed us with kindness and gave us lots of useful tips for the stay! The place is perfect for a change of scenery away from any networks, without wifi! Everything was great! Thank you

Accommodation matches the description, very quiet, ideal for recharging your batteries. We will come back without problems, I recommend it to everyone without hesitation. A big family of 11, we had a great time. Jean Marie and Nicole welcomed us warmly and were available for any needs. The accommodation, although very old (and it is part of its charm) was very good: quiet, clean pool, beautiful garden. We needed to contact Jean Marie for a small problem in the apartment who followed up very quickly and fixed the problem. I can only recommend this place.

We had a wonderful stay at Dirk's. We were 2 families with children and everyone enjoyed the place. Dirk is a very friendly and always available host. Please note that there are no horses as presented in the advertisement. Small disappointment for children who dreamed of seeing them. They will be present from January. The place is spacious and very convenient. The beautiful swimming pool is shared with dirk, his family and the tenants of the wooden hut but this does not taint the pleasure of this magnificent panorama and it allowed us to chat with the owner. Be careful if you are afraid of dogs there are 3 on site including one that protects the property well. From the house you can explore this sublime region.

Manuella is very responsive. had a great stay with our children. terrace in the back which is very nice for family meals.

We had a great time in a quiet and beautiful place. We especially enjoyed the pool area which is very nice and well appointed. The spacious park allows you to have a good quiet time and good walks. A relaxation area and games consisting of several sports equipment makes it possible to diversify the activities inside of the site. We recommend this cottage which is a very good value.

Everything went well, the house is very nice and the hosts are accommodating and responsive, we had a nice weekend, I recommend it!

The property fully complies with the description. The beautiful large garden is wonderful to stay in. The pool is wonderful and is well maintained. Especially the view when you sit by the pool is incredible. The region is also recommended; nice towns (Albi, Montauban) and villages (Lauzerte, Auvillar, Bruniquel,...) Another plus is the delicious bakery within walking distance. Hélène is also a very pleasant host, with whom communication went very smoothly.

I had a wonderful stay at Chloé’s place in Le Périgord Noir! The house was absolutely amazing, beautifully decorated, comfortable, spotless, and located in a stunning spot. Chloé and her father-in-law Pierre, who was on site, were both incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. Pierre was especially friendly and made sure everything went smoothly. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the charm of the region. I would absolutely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a special stay in the area.

Tanya’s property is even more beautiful than shown in the pictures: lots of space in the house and the gîtes, a big and perfectly maintained swimming pool, top-notch equipment (bedding, bathrooms, kitchen, TV room, wifi…). We were three families with teenage kids and we had a wonderful time. The location is very quiet, but all services are just 10-15 minutes away by car. Highly recommended!

Great location. Beautiful surroundings. Pool was amazing for the kids and a little bigger than it looks in the photos. Comfy beds, lots of storage and fresh towels with blankets to wrap up in on the evenings.
