The Barn Square Island, peaceful and pet friendly.

Square Island is a peaceful, rural location adjacent to a small farm with Pembroke town and several outstanding beaches just a short drive away. The Barn is a converted donkey stable, with traditional lime plaster walls and upcycled timber giving it a rustic feel. The courtyard is gated and secure for pets, perfect for drinks and BBQ in the summer. No children under 12 due to fire safety regs for the sleeping mezzanines. Get away from it all in our peaceful little nook located above the beach at Llanreath. Only 5 minutes to the historic 13th century town of Pembroke. We are 15 minutes by car to the beaches at Freshwater West, top surfing spot and home to Dobby’s Grave, Broadhaven South and the stunning Barafundle to name but a few. In addition the charming seaside towns of Tenby and Saundersfoot are only a 20 minute drive making Driftaway Cottage the perfect base to explore all Pembrokeshire has to offer.
