Lovely village house, East Pyrenees

This quaint village house is located high up in the pretty hillside village of Rodes. Rodes rests in the Languedoc Roussillon/Pyrenees-Orientales region of France where Mount Canigou dominates the skyline. A 30 minute drive takes you to Perpignan and the stunning Mediterranean coast. The house has breath taking views of Mount Canigou from the rooftop terrace and can comfortably sleep up to 4 persons. It has a private garage, free WIFI and two bikes available for guests to use. On the ground floor is the walk through garage and a utility area with a washing machine. The two bedrooms are on the first floor. The 2nd floor offers open plan living with a fully equipped kitchen and an area for relaxing and eating. From here you access the sunny outdoor terrace and the mezzanine bathroom. The house and the area are perfect for a relaxing get away from it all holiday. Nearby is a village shop and easy access to the main road between Perpignan and Andorra. The village of Vinca is within walking distance and you can swim, relax and sunbathe on the shores of the crystal clear lake. Maison Mimosa is located in an exceptionally picturesque area ideal for walking and mountain biking as well as a visit to the world reknowned hot springs at Thomas Les Bains. During the winter season, the nearest slopes are just a 45 minute drive away. The 50 euros rate per night is negotiable dependent on number of guests, number if nights booked and the season. There are great hiking opportunities into the Natural Reserve of Nohèdes with it's 4 lakes and stunning views of the Pyrenées mountains and the Mediterranean Sea in the distance. Le village de Latour de Carol est idéalement situé pour des vacances en famille ou entre amis, avec de nombreuses activités : vélo, ski, randos, promenades ... Proximité avec l'Espagne (10 min) et l'Andorre (25 min). Les stations de ski sont à 15 min de voiture pour la plus proche Porté Puymorens. Cette maison fait partie d’un ensemble de deux maisons de vacances identiques, parfaitement indépendantes.

Cachés au fond de la vallée de Nohèdes, situés à une altitude de 800 mètres au bord de la rivière et au pied de la réserve naturelle, se trouvent les confortables gîtes. Clin d'œil pour l'accès : Pour les derniers 2 km il faut rouler sur une piste carrossable. Le domaine de la Maison de la montagne de 2 ha. est un petit paradis calme et un camp de base idéal pour ceux qui veulent pratiquer des sports de pleine nature. Malgré la sècheresse en été, il y a toujours de l'eau dans la rivière !
