Vacation rentals with a patio in Pavones

This was an extraordinary experience; one of our favorite spaces and trips that we have ever had. The nature is unbeatable. Monkeys and macaws are your close neighbors. The jungle is home, and the energy it provides is nurturing and deeply spiritual. The layout of the house is spacious and open. The beach is private and a beautiful 5 minute walk. Michael is a very responsive host. If you're looking for a peaceful oasis in the heart of Osa, don't miss booking Casa Sombrero.

If this home is available, you should definitely book it! My family and I stayed at this home for one week and enjoyed everything about it. The home is very private, safe and located on a spacious, beautifully landscaped property. The pool is a wonderful addition, especially for children. We loved the awning over the pool for shade, and sun. The outside terrace area is great for BBQing and relaxing in the hammocks. We loved the quirkiness of the home. It's an older Costa Rican home, but it has everything you need with hot water, AC, and solar panels - so even when the power went out all over Pavones we still had lights and AC. We slept very well in these beds (the room upstairs is bright, but the downstairs room is black-out). The kitchen is fully equipped, easy for cooking meals. The location was top-notch, easy to drive down to Pavones or Pilon for surfing. Last but not least, Valentine is a wonderful host and goes above and beyond. We definitely want to come back! 5 stars!

An absolute epic spot! you are 30 sec walk to the beach and surf spot, 10 min drive from punta banco. The cabin are super cozy , private and the kitchen has everything you need. I stayed there for a week and Ian & Zara made me feel right at home. Such amazing host, always ready to help with recommendations of surf spot , restaurant, place to buy fresh tuna & fresh shrimps! For anyone on a surf trip this place got to be your first pick! 10/10

Moderne Architektur, super Küche mit Dschungelblick (endlich mal Backofen statt Mikrowelle!) , aber leider ist die Umgebung noch im Umbau.

The place had everything we needed. The location is great if you are looking for privacy and peace. Also, Patrick and Christie are great hosts!

Espaço excelente para famílias e grupos maiores. Todos ficaram confortáveis e se sentiram em casa. Carolina foi muito atenciosa, sempre respondia rapidamente. Ela e sua equipe foram muito amáveis! Pavones é encontadora, principalmente para quem surfa. Recomendamos e esperamos voltar em breve!

YOU MUST GO! That should certainly be the title to this review. I cannot say enough about Sarah’s beautiful space but allow me to try… From the very beginning Sarah was hands down one of the most responsive, caring + attentive hosts. She helped us plan not only our stay at her place but also helped direct our week’s great adventures (surfing, sport fishing, snorkeling, etc.) The home is welcoming + wonderful, you will not be disappointed. It’s close to everything you need but has its own private feel. My kids played in the pool + ocean all week long. We loved that the beach was only steps away. There are water toys, towels, snorkel gear, boogie boards + so many things that help make you feel right at home. Our favorite spot to eat was El Coquito, the pizza was delicious + they delivered. There are many things to do + see so we had to pick + choose but we will be back to keep exploring this sweet haven of Costa Rica. Pack your bags + DO NOT think twice. Playa Zancudo is waiting.

Loved every moment I had there, views were spectacular as well as the wildlife surrounding it! Pool was great if you just wanted to stay in and enjoy the weather ! The beach was super close as well to adventure to if you wanted to relax by the waves which was also super great ! Great location if you want your vacation to be secluded with not too many people but Pavones is such a quick drive and other towns to explore and dip into the townie experience. The home was clean, well equipped and had minimal lil bugs at the time of year I stayed. All in all had an amazing time at this property and highly recommend it to solo travellers, families and couples. Can’t go wrong with choosing this as your stay. I will for sure be booking again!

The location is absolutely amazing. If you surf you’re only about a 8 minute walk to the surf spot. You can walk to many different restaurants, grocery store. Every morning we were woken by different kinds of birds singing. The place itself is very nice. I do have a few negative things, the pillows are super thin, there was not any soap or shampoo (not a problem the store was close), the bathroom is on the first floor and if your wife is like mine who has to pee 6 million times during the night, I got tired of going up and down the stairs with her! The only other thing and it is in the description was no hot water, I thought my wife was joking when she told me this before booking the place. Nope! No hot water, the shower outside water is hotter! Other than these little items, the place is amazing, the host replied really fast when we needed anything, the location is amazing. We felt really safe! The price was great for this place. Just pack an extra pillow and soap!
