we cannot recommend this property highly enough. from the gorgeous courtyard at entry to the luxurious bedding and little extra touches, this property was just perfect. Gorgeous furnishings, block out shutters, ambient lighting, comfortable bed and pillows, a beautiful cleaner that always had a smile as she passed us and gave us a bag of lemons she collected from the tree outside. This property is perfection.

The location of Lia’s place is amazing. You have Berzocana village nearby which is walkable and other small villages you can visit for food if you need. Hiking in the nature is so easy from the house and you walk in the fantastic geopark which is certified by UNESCO. Driving around to explore more interesting areas around is very convenient. The road condition to the area is super good. If you are looking for a peaceful place for disconnection, here you go. Lia is very friendly and helpful. The cleaning lady and people in the villages are also friendly and welcoming. You feel at home during the stay. Wonderful experience.

We spent the Easter holidays at Yamila's place and (despite the weather turning from summer to winter in the course of the stay) had a really nice, relaxed time. The cabana has lots of space and a good sized kitchen and washing machine which is ideal for a family holiday with young children. The area is very remote, peaceful and beautiful, if you want to switch off and enjoy nature then it is ideal, the surrounding fields are full of birds and the flowers around the cabana buzz with bees and butterflies. Our young daughters loved it and even with the unusually cold weather were outside playing most of the time. The lack of wifi and slow mobile connection encourage you to ignore the phone and properly unwind. Yamila was super helpful (and enthusiastic!) right from the start. When our car broke down and needed to be towed she quickly offered to deal with the garage and offered to drive us to the garage, which was really kind and thoughtful. We would definitely book Bella Maria again.

The stay at the retreat was amazing, the area and the house encourage it. Besides, Charly was ready for anything as long as we were okay. We'll be back for sure.
