Just as advertised this lake house is very relaxing and chill. The hot tub was a huge benefit. Host provided sanitary supplies, coffee, and a smores kit! Host was responsive to questions and we would definitely book again. This stay was late april so the lake wasnt fully thawed yet, I can imagine its even better in the summer when the water is open!

We had a wonderful time. What a beautiful lake and a wonderful hot tub! The cabin was so homey and had everything we needed. We enjoyed building a fire in the stove and watching movies while overlooking a beautiful lake. We would recommend this cabin and Shanna was very helpful!

My husband stayed at Jim’s property for three nights and there are not enough great things I can say about it. The cabin is beautiful and we felt right at home. Jim greeted us as soon as we arrived and showed us the cabin and the property. The hot tub was easy to use and so nice to hang out in. We had a lovely evening hanging out with Jim and Teresa one night too. Fishing from the dock was fun too and there are a bunch of ways to get on the water if you would like too. The place was clean and clearly very loved. Overall this is a beautiful property and our time here was just perfect. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful cabin. We had some technical issues with the door lock but the host was very quick to respond and help us resolve the issue. The cabin was secluded and had a gorgeous view. The wood fired hot tub was so amazing to use at night when it was cold. I’ll definitely come back the next time we come to Alaska. 10/10

Joe and Leslie were great hosts, they provided us coffee, goodies and fresh eggs as an unexpected serendipity. They were very responsive to any questions. The king size bed was extremely comfortable. The place and surrounding area was extremely quiet. I slept great every night! Thank you Joe and Leslie, for your attention to detail!

The bed was very comfortable. This is a very clean and cozy cabin in a wonderful setting. If you’re not comfortable with steep stairs or you need to take very long showers, you may want to look elsewhere, otherwise I highly recommend this place for an Alaskan getaway!

This was my third time coming to Alaska and this place is magical! This was one of the BEST places that we have stayed! The host is AMAZING! She has thought of everything you need in this cabin! She is so beyond friendly, willing to help any possible way that she can! STAY HERE!! It is the perfect in the woods escape!!

Paid attention to the back yard but didn't see a moose come thru. Plenty of droppings so they are there! Comfortable stay in all ways. I didn't find anything lacking. Very clean. Would return again. Thank you!

This cabin is more like a small house. We stayed here for a week and it was very clean, and quiet with comfortable beds. We’d definitely stay here again. The host was very attentive to detail, responsive and easy to communicate with. The cabin is actually about 20 minutes from the main part of town and will feel like you’re headed for the boonies, stay with it. Like most neighborhoods in Alaska there are some nice places and some dumps, so just be prepared for that on your way. Not to worry though the cabin is great. For the property owner: Please consider adding an ottoman or foot rests to the living room to make it really comfortable.

Only issue was the TV didn’t work. It was a blessing. Didn’t need it. Kari was responsive and I’m sure it is something small that will be fixed quickly. I would absolutely stay there again.

This is a great place to stay. Nice and clean and a great view of the airport just below the cabin. We watched planes and yet the noise was very minimal. Everything we needed was right there. It was easy access to groceries, and the restaurants and close to the lakes. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

I felt right at home in Justin and Nikki's immaculate, newly constructed cabin nestled in a lush green forest of spruce, aspen, birch, and willow trees. Whether you're looking for a home base while exploring Alaska, or just want to spend some peaceful, quiet time away from the chaos of the world, their place is perfect. I will definitely stay here again when I come through, if it's available!

Cabin was clean, well-maintained and a great spot on Big Lake. Brad was a responsive communicator and accommodating host with lake toys. Would definitely come back!

This is a hidden gem. Tucked away just outside Anchorage, you are in a safe, quiet culdesac. The space is very well appointed and we had everything we needed. Dan and his wife were wonderful hosts. Very friendly and helpful. I would wholeheartedly recommend this as a great option when visiting Alaska.
