Rachel's place was lovely, clean and spacious for four of us. The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed. Rachel communicated very clearly and promptly, making sure we were comfortable and even explaining things like the Wanaka fire alarm which is heard regularly in town. The apartment's closest route to the lakefront is only a 10min walk (there is a slightly longer route) but know that you will be on the other side of a hill, so being fit helps :-)

Place was exactly what we needed to break up our drive. Moragh was fantastic, and we really appreciated them leaving the lights on for us as we were arriving after dark. We particularly liked the little touch of Easter chocolates! Thanks again for having us ☺️

We had a lovely stay whilst doing part of the Alps to Ocean bike ride. Really cosy place. The hot tub was the perfect temperature. The apple cake if you opt for dinner was brilliant. The only heads up I'd give other guests is that if you're over 5' 9 you might be ducking slightly in part of the bus, and there's no electricity inside. Neither was a problem for us though.

This was the most amazing place we have ever stayed! Beautiful, peaceful and private. We loved the outdoor shower and hot tub with animals and nature all around. We loved it here and it was a highlight of the trip to have such a cozy place to stay!

Awesome location , beautiful surroundings with lots of outdoor space to roam and kids to play. Very kid friendly our daughter loved the playhouse, multiple swings from the trees, sandpit and provided books. Cottage was equipped with everything we needed and we had a lovely stay.

Jenny’s place is really lovely, a home from home and overlooking her beautiful garden and highland cows. The cabin is clean and well equipped and comfortable with everything you need for an over night stay. A five minute drive into town with plenty to see and do, I highly recommend seeing the penguins at dusk and great beer and pizza at Scott’s brewery in the harbour.

We enjoyed our staying at this lovely, cozy and well prepared place. The house is beautiful and the kitchen is organised perfect and easy to use. The location to the town centre is great only 5 mins taking to pretty all of restaurants and marts. Definitely recommend this place.

We had a great time staying at Amanda’s lovely place. She made us instantly feel welcome, offered us to prepare the sauna, do our laundry inside and let us use the dryer in the garage. She was very friendly, helpful, but also gave us our space and privacy. Absolutely recommend this place!! We found lake Hawea even more stunning than Wanaka (which is just 15mins away)!

What can we say about this stunning place 😍 The accommodation itself has been beautifully styled- it’s so cosy and peaceful, and the kind of place you never want to leave. It has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The hot tub was amazing and the grounds are great for a walk down to the river. It’s super dog-friendly and our dog loved exploring and playing with gorgeous Rumi! The fresh bread in the morning was such a thoughtful and delicious treat! We can’t wait to come back and to see what else lies in store for this gem of a place. Thank you, Tim, for a great stay and being a brilliant host!

Maggie’s place was absolutely wonderful, you don’t get hospitality like this anymore. The food was plentiful and delicious. We opted for the cooked dinner and it did not disappoint! The area was peaceful and we loved the dogs on the property. I would love to stay again, absolutely recommended!

We loved the beautiful green outlook from our room and the deck. Lovely to have a sea view and to hear the waves in the quiet. Birdsong was also a treat, including some native NZ birds. Peter was friendly and welcoming and chatted with us when we arrived. We enjoyed hearing some history about the common room/kitchen/bathroom building. Bedrooms were fresh and clean linen. Shower was great water pressure and lovely hot water! We would definitely stay at Peter's again if we have the chance.

Mark & Judi were wonderful, thoughtful and friendly hosts who made us feel at home from minute-one of our stay. And what a home: so spacious and beautifully appointed with marvellous vistas from almost every room. My partner and I were out-and-about most days on trails and walks, so to come back to the comfort and effortless luxury of Mark and Judi’s place was a real treat. We should add that even though it was just the two of us, the property would easily accommodate up-to four couples or a big family. The location in Fern Hill is private and quiet and yet super-convenient to Queenstown’s various restaurants, shops and attractions. Overall, we were delighted with our decision to stay at Mark and Judi’s place. It was indeed a ‘Remarkable Escape’. Needless to say, we’d happily stay again.

What a beautiful stay!! Absolutely loved our time at Julie's. Very warm and cozy, we didn't want to leave. Julie is an incredible host, she drove us to our concert, turned our electric blankets on for when we got back and left us the most gorgeous note. We most definitely felt like we were at home.

We couldn’t have wished for a more perfect start to our holiday. It’s was cozy, gorgeous and the attention to detail was impeccable.
