Vacation rentals with a kayak in Østfold

Great place! It was quiet and nice with nice surroundings, nice views, bath just below the house with its own small bathing ladder from the cliff. Always prompt responses to questions. Great communication. Easy to find, and nice places from a good distance if you want to come up with something! Have only good things to say and highly recommend it!

Felt like staying at a 5 star hotel. Great beds. Great backyard. Amazing hot tub. Ping pong table was a nice surprise. You need a car though cause you’re 5-10 minutes away from downtown. Grocery store within walking distance.

A beautiful family home in an idyllic location. Private beach with jetty for swimming/fishing and boat & kayak available for guests to use. Lots of outdoor space to eat and enjoy the views. The inside of the house is immaculate. Very quiet, private setting but within easy reach or Oslo. Thanks so much to Einar and family who were so welcoming and helpful.

It’s a super cozy home, nice furniture and decoration,bedding is comfortable. Wish the kitchen is bigger. Great host!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hytte. Johanne is an extremely helpful and generous host and her place is a jewel on the Oslofiord. It really is a fantastic location with a beautiful garden down to the sea and stunning views from the main living areas. The interior is charming and this is a place that has a lovely family feel to it with beautiful landscape paintings and traditional furnishings. We loved it and hope to come again. Tusen takk!

There were 6 of us in Sandra's wonderful house. Check-in was hassle-free. The house looked as described and it had everything you needed. The view from the terrace was incredible and we really enjoyed the time. Sandra was always available quickly and responded promptly to any questions. Pure vacation!

Absolutely amazing location! It was so idyllic to celebrate midsummer there! Only downside was that it got very hot in the bedrooms as it was hot outside. You couldn't have an open window due to insects. Therefore, it is recommended to bring your own fan. But really a wonderful weekend in Runes cottage!

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin very much. It is located in a lovely area, right by the sea, with nice hiking opportunities both along the sea and to the forest, if you want to walk a bit. We brought a dog and it worked really well. Kenneth was a good host. Fit available and relaxed. Would recommend.

We had a great time at the sea. The pretty cottage on the car-free and quiet island was a great base to explore the hiking trails and beaches of the islands. The fact that we were allowed to use the boats and SUPs was a highlight for our children.

Such a beautiful place (but pay attention to the other reviews that mention the steps)! We felt completely at home, and very much enjoyed our time there. Tormod was so quick to respond to any question we had, including when we changed our departure date. We’d stay there again!

A really nice place to visit , on the first day after a few hours we were greeted by the husband who fixed a broken tap in the sink, helped us with getting the fireplace and firepit outside going and even gave us some hiking tips and other places to visit! very helpful and nice hosts, a beautiful place to visit if you ever want to get away from the city, would recommend to anyone who likes to be next to the water.

The cabin is so lovely that we wished we had a hard time going back home :) Beatiful views from all of the windows and great interior design. Huge smart TV and a lovely fireplace to chilli in the evening! I had the impression that the house is actually twice as big as on the pictures. Breakfasts in the dining room with views of the lake and Dilingoya island will stay forever in our memories. The only minor downside is that the wardrobes in the main bedroom were not entirely available, as there were lots of lifevests etc. inside, but we didn't have much stuff anyways, so it was not a problem for us at all :)
