Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Old Forge

Blissful Bear was a spacious home, easily able to comfortably accommodate 4 adults with plenty of areas for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful environment. The kitchen was spacious and very well equipped for cooking. The location made it very convenient for Inlet and a short drive to Eagle Bay and Old Forge.

Friends and I stayed at Julius’ place for the Blackfly Bike Race, it was conveniently located for the race and well suited for a weekend with friends. Nice amenities and beautiful views as well.

Our February stay at Camp Blantons, Old Forge was fantastic! Bridget was a superb host and extremely helpful. The house was very clean and well-equipped. There is a spacious entryway which was great for all of our winter gear. The kitchen and dining area are open to the living room which has many oversized windows for viewing nature. The wood burning stove in the living room added to the warmth of the house. There are three bedrooms and the beds were very comfortable and cozy. In addition, there are two full bathrooms which made it perfect for two couples. Finally, the property is beautiful, it was a winter wonderland surrounded by tall pines and there is a large pond that we snowshoed around. We enjoyed watching the deer on the snowy landscape. The area is quiet and just a short drive to town. We highly recommend staying at Camp Blantons for your next visit to the Adirondacks!

The location of this house is amazing. You can easily walk to town. Views were incredible. The deck was cozy and spacious. House was just as described. Rick and Kelly were wondeful hosts. We would def come back and stay here again.

Me and my family had an amazing time. We all wished we were staying for more than just the weekend. I would love to come back next summer!

We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was spacious, comfortable, and homey. We were able to cook meals there, go hiking in nearby area, and enjoy some really wonderful family time together. We enjoyed spending some time in Old Forge. The cabin has everything we needed, including cooking supplies, local info, and even games for a family game night. I would recommend this place to anyone interested in this beautiful area!

Peaceful retreat In beutiful Old Forge to spend Father’s Day weekend. We felt right at home and enjoyed the grill, fireplace and the majestic view. Extremely quiet and peaceful, highly recommend!

Chantale’s place was wonderful. The pool allows us to have fun even when it’s raining. Chantale was really responsive and helpful and her dogs were a lovely bonus.

Mike's place has everything you need, and it's impeccably clean. Felt safe, was cozy, and Mike laid out all instructions beforehand, so I knew exactly what I had on store when I arrived and knew exactly how to check in, without any hiccups. 100% would recommend.

A girls' weekend getaway was even better than hoped for because Rebecca's place was so homey and comfortable! We made a great staycation there! The kitchen has absolutely anything you could possibly need. The linens in bed and bath were clean, cozy, and soft. The home was neat and super clean. Rebecca stopped in after it arrival to make sure the new furnace and thermostat were working well and made it clear she would be available if we needed her. She highlighted some local restaurants and businesses we might want to check out. One feature I really loved was the entry room which made transitioning our stuff in/outdoors in the rain very easy! I highly recommend staying at Rebecca's welcoming, clean, comfortable home!

My wife and I were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and we’re going to spend a few days in NY. This place caught my eye because it was unique and I like things that are a little different than everything else. The instructions to access the location were crystal clear and we had no trouble getting in. The place was exactly as described in the listing including photos. Everything was clean and appeared to be in new condition. Best part about it, their bakery and coffee shop right below the apartment….perfect! We got to meet Scott and Vanessa before we left and they were both great! Can’t say enough good things about this place. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a unique place to stay that is affordable and gives you the bonus of pastries and coffee below. Thanks!

Crystal and Daniel (and Ranger) are warm, lovely people (and dog) and their apartment is far more than what the photographs and description can convey. Greeted by music and ambient lighting, spotlessly clean,, every amenity and convenience well thought out and provided. A selection of coffees, snacks and everything you might need away from home. Comfy bedroom, great bathroom and a large yard for my pup to stretch her legs. Next time in the area, I would be disappointed to stay any where else. Thanks! Mark & Bowie

Elise was always helpful and responsive. Riding snowmobile for the first time in Old Forge was great and finding the trail from this location was a breeze. The apartment was perfect for what I wanted; clean, new, private, even tall ceilings for a very open feel. So glad I chose this place over a motel.

We had a wonderful time. Beautiful location with all the amenities we needed for a wonderful stay. The house was very clean and well kept. Deanna and Dave were very pleasant to talk to and their dog Chloe was just the best. Greeted us every morning and we loved playing Frisbee with her in the afternoon. Such a bonus for us. We enjoyed watching the sunset every evening. We plan to visit again.

My second time here and I just booked a third. I will stay here every time I’m in the area. Super clean and a great value

This house is very nice and well taken care of. We loved our stay, great place to hang out with friends right on the beach! Other people staying there were very nice as well. Troy was flexible and allowed us to have an earlier check in. We also needed more parking passes and he was accommodating for that too. Rent this place, you will not be disappointed.

Great location. I was in town to attend my granddaughter’s Christening. Took in the casino as well. Enjoyable stay.

We had a great stay! The space was quaint but super cozy and comfortable—just what we needed. I especially loved the skylights; they brought in such beautiful natural light during the day. The shower was great, and even though there wasn’t a full kitchen, it was awesome that the host provided plenty of cooking amenities—it made it easy to prep meals and feel right at home. Check-in was super easy, and the host was incredibly easygoing, respectful, and welcoming. The place was spotless and in a super convenient location—walkably close to Varick Street, Utica’s most poppin' bar scene (huge bonus if you’re looking for a fun night out!). It would’ve been nice to have a smart TV, but the WiFi was strong, so we were able to stream from a laptop with no issues. All in all, a peaceful, comfortable stay—we’d definitely come back!

Casa Lago (upper) is the place to be! My family and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay as it was colorful, clean, and spacious . The decor adds that extra happiness of being at the beach. Location is key, and Casa Lago is in a prime spot within walking distance to all the fun Sylvan Beach has to offer! The view of the lake from the deck is spectacular! We enjoyed the music from Harpoon Eddies (next door) each evening on the deck. Codey was a great host! He responded to any questions we had in stellar time, and he made sure we had everything we needed. We have been visiting Sylvan Beach for 30+ years, and staying at Casa Lago just made it all the more special this year!
