Waterfront vacation rentals in Old Forge

We picked this spot to be a launching point for hiking etc. if we’d known how gorgeous the river is right here on Jonathan’s land, we would have built in more time in our trip at the Airbnb!

We had a great weekend at Alexandra’s place. She was super communicative and helpful. The place is beautiful and comfortable with a lot of extra touches. It was a great spot for cross country skiing at Lapland Lake Center. We will definitely stay here again!

Another great example of the listing matching reality. Great responsive host and perfect location for anglers and boaters who bring their own boat. It cannot get more convenient with the low key but public boat ramp literally adjacent to this property.

We had a really comfortable stay at Eileen and Randy’s place. It was accurately described and immaculately clean. Eileen was very reachable and responsive and it was lovely to meet her and put a face to the name. We were visiting family in the area all the way from Sydney Australia. Eileen and Randy’s really was our home away from home!

Second time staying here. Did not disappoint. Great location to base out of for hiking and fishing opportunities. Will return.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this property, and I can't say enough good things about my experience! From the moment I booked, the host was incredibly responsive and helpful, providing detailed instructions and answering all my questions promptly. The property itself was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. It truly felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect, situated in a quiet neighborhood but still close to all the attractions and amenities I wanted to explore.

We selected Home in Piseco because of its location in the Adirondacks and proximity, to our homes for a relaxing weekend get away. The home is very clean, comfortable and welcoming. Even though the weather was rainy we’re able to get out and enjoy a nearby hike to Kane Mt. Fire tower. Though the rain kept us inside music of the time, the views of Panther Mountain and Piseco Lake from the windows were amazing.

Staying at Brandon and Corey's place was like the definition of the best AirBnB can be. The house is cozy and beautiful, and we found it totally decorated for the Christmas season and perfect for our party of 6. It's the level of thoughtfulness that made our stay special. 'Emergency' amenities laid out in the bedroom just in case; a kitchen that is very well equipped, well-designed and highly functional; coffee supplies laid out and ready for the morning; a binder of local recommendations, etc. etc. Brandon's communications were also fantastic. He reached out proactively to ensure we had everything we needed and set a very relaxed and welcoming tone. It is no mystery why he and Corey are super hosts! Thank you, Brandon and Corey, for setting the bar for what other properties/owners can be!!

Cozy place, lots of antiques and we appreciate the surprise toy bin the most for our kids!

This place truly felt like a home away from home—beautiful, peaceful, and even better than the photos! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed—and more. The host was very kind and responsive. He let us use the firewood he had stocked, provided two BBQ grills, and had lots of board games perfect for kids. The house is fully carpeted, so using the front door with shoes can get messy. We used the back door through the garage so our shoes could stay inside. You can tell the host is very clean and takes pride in the home. There are also two canoes (we didn’t use due to weather). Thousand Islands Boat Tour is just 37 minutes away—perfect for a day trip. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect stay for a weekend getaway. Kitchen / Living room space very open and accomidating which is why we wanted it. Would stay here again if we were up for a weekend get away.

Madeline was an exceptional host! She answered me in a short period of time when I had a question and was a pleasure throughout the process! The amenities made my stay well worth it and the home was filled with everything I needed! I highly recommend Madeline as a host and if you’re looking for a “spa like” retreat, this is the place to go!

Stephanie's place was wonderful. Had a lovely stay for 5 days. Beautiful view, very walkable spot, and televisions in both bedrooms, as well as living area, which was perfect for those occasions when one person is a night owl. The unit is very easy to locate, very clean and cozy, as well as the nice extras, like the kayaks. We didn't use them, but great to have the option. Very comfortable seating area, and beds. Stephanie had timely communication on every front, from pre-check in to departure. Really fun, and relaxing spot. Would absolutely return. Thank you so much, Stephanie!

The place was exactly as described. We came during a chilly day so couldn’t enjoy the beautiful surroundings as much. The unit was spic and span. Would definitely recommend it!

Awesome Airbnb. Fit our whole group with plenty of room in the living room for us all to relax together. Nice big kitchen. Beautiful views and awesome beach. Only negative are the spiral stairs on the back deck, they are a little steep but still doable. Really convenient how many restaurants and shops are in walking distances. Great for a friends or family trip. Will definitely be coming back.
