This renovated one bedroom flat is situated in a historic building in the centre of Oban. It is located on the first floor with views to front and rear through large windows. It is ideal for visitors who want the convenience of staying in the town, with all facilities, shops and transport links within a couple of minutes walk. Situated in a peaceful glen twenty minutes walk to the local coastal village Connel and ten mins drive to the town of Oban we offer a gateway to the outdoors - mountains, beaches, forests, islands. The cabin has been built to immerse our guests into the tranquil surroundings with uninterrupted countryside views over native woodland from the decking area where deer and sea eagles are regular visitors.

Shepherd's Hut near Oban

Get away from it all in our shepherd's hut located just outside the village of Connel and only a ten minute drive from the bustling seaside town of Oban. The accommodation is located on our family croft (we live on site near to the shepherds hut) with ducks, hens, Hebridean sheep and our two ponies as your closest neighbours. We are surrounded by abundant wildlife such as pine martens and red deer and have outstanding views over unspoiled countryside towards the slopes of Ben Cruachan.

The flat enjoys unparalleled views over the sound of Kerrera and towards Oban bay. It is situated just a short walk from Oban town centre and the ferry terminal. The apartment has a double bed, a large sofa and a dining table and chairs. A garden table and chairs are also provided.

Right in the centre of Oban. 2 minutes walk to bus, trains, ferries. On street parking is free between 6pm and 9am, between 9am and 6pm this is metered but there are several car parks very close by that charge £4.00 - £5.00 per day. Very quiet large 1st floor flat with secure entry. Shared but seldom used walled back garden, some slabs are slightly uneven due to age so please be careful and use at own risk. Very close to all amenities.
