Apartment vacation rentals in Oban

We had such a great time -- I highly recommend staying here if visiting Oban. The apartment has had a lot of care put into making it feel like a home. The kitchen is fully functional, the beds are comfortable, and we appreciated the washing machine (and dryer, which is rare for an airbnb!). The outside patio has an amazing view of town, the islands to the west and the sunset. Anuschka and Axel are great hosts and provided some starter groceries because of our late arrival on the train and greeted us when we arrived. And the location in town is excellent -- groceries, cafes, restaurants, the bookstore, the green-roof seafood shack and the Oban distillery are all walkable within about 5 minutes. Overall highly recommended.

it was a perfect apartment in a perfect location ...Surrounded by wildlife and so peaceful overlooking Kererra Sound...we saw a seal swimming one evening! only 20 minute easy walk to Oban. plenty of restaurants but Lidl and Tesco 1 mile away if you prefer to cook and eat alfresco overlooking the Sound. Irene a wonderful host who gives so much information on places to visit etc and very quick to respond. it was a wonderful week and would highly recommend it to others...

Excellent location for an overnight stay in Oban for the ferry as it's only 5 mins drive from the port and is located in a quiet cul-de-sac. Amazing that it's dog friendly with grass outside. My mum has mobility issues and it's great for this as all one one level with step free access. It was very clean and comfortable and we will happily stay again. Jason and Jenna were quick to respond to messages and helpful.

Perfect location! Easy self check in. All the amenities we needed. The email you receive prior to check in was very helpful with excellent restaurants and cafes. Immediate responses from host with the couple questions we had. Highly recommend.

We stayed two nights and it exceeded our expectations. It was beautiful, had a great view and was in the perfect spot in relation to restaurants, activities and transportation. We would stay again in the future!

The hosts were so great at communicating throughout our stay and gave great recommendations. It is such a good stay for a mixed group/couples with 4 rooms and 4 bathrooms. Oban was a wonderful place to visit and the location of the air bnb was central and didn’t involve any hills to get to!

Very spacious and bright flat, exceptionally clean and tidy. Easy to find, brilliant location for the short walk into Oban, but quiet and peaceful. Would recommend.

What a fabulous place to stay. So much to discover. Loved the single track road to Oban, especially spending time just watching the highland cows and calves. Oban itself was wonderful and had The Best Fish and Chip shop ever!!! (As recommended by Rick Stein). The grounds of Lonan house were superb and led to many varied walks. The apartment was a real home from home. Glencoe is only a stones throw away and although we didn’t get to visit Mull or Kererra the majesty of these islands brings tears to my eyes when I stand and observe them from the harbour in Oban. After a week in the bosom of Lonan House we genuinely did not want to leave. Thank you to Elaine and Malcolm for all the little extra touches that made us and our two little dogs feel so welcome.

Claire's place was in a perfect location for us. Super easy to walk to the terminal for ferry trips to islands, but also a short walk from a large Tesco, various restaurants, the Oban distillery, etc. Claire was quick to respond to any texts and she was quite helpful about the local happenings, like the high school pipes and drum performances right outside the flat! I would definitely recommend Claire's place to others traveling to Oban!

Very well designed new apartment. Great beds and spacious rooms. Living room and kitchen with view to bay and ferry, there’s always something to see. Easy walking around oban, supermarket is close as well. Own parking space very helpful. Oban is a neat place and this apartment just perfect to explore it. Can only recommend both the apartment and Tristan as host. Great tips as well, don’t miss to visit the restaurant “coast” 😊

We had a fantastic stay at Emma and Steven's apartment. It was spotless, cosy and fully equipped for a relaxing break. We really liked the location, with great walks nearby and Oban just a short drive away. Be sure to visit the newly reopened Taynuilt Inn at the end of the road - a great spot to unwind after a day of exploring.

Sharyn's place was just what we were looking for in staying in Oban: not far up the hill from the town centre yet in a quiet road with a stunning view across the Firth to Mull. Very comfortable and well-equipped apartment with plenty of space for the two of us. Sharyn was very helpful although we had no need for further assistance during the stay as everything was very clear and clean, with some added nice extra touches. Highly recommended!

Lorraine’s place was great, big living space and comfortable beds with an apartment full of great amenities. 9 of us across 2 apartments was very spacious. Would definitely stay here again. 5/5

We had a fantastic stay! It was even prettier than the pictures, the view was amazing, and it was super clean and easy to use. That hot tub was a great bonus. We loved it and can't wait to come back. Such a peaceful place to stay at!

Loved our time here. Exactly as described. Beautiful accommodation with a lovely view. Hot-tub was a nice touch at the end of a day exploring the local area. We had dinner in the restaurant in the attached hotel. Food was good and staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you are visiting. We would stay here again. 🌸

Lesley was a welcoming, kind and friendly host. Everything was perfect in the apartment and exactly as described. It was helpful to have her living on site as she could assist us with any issues immediately; especially with bad weather warnings and giving directions and tips about the area. She was flexible with the checkout times due to the snow which helped us alot. She facilitated our pet cat very well. We are grateful to her for sharing her beautiful home so warmly and generously. We highly recommend this location as its beautiful and would come again. We give Lesley a full, 5 star thumbs up for her impeccable service. Thanks!

Calling the Flora Apartment "home" for the duration of our stay was the best decision we made for our trip! All of us lived extremely comfortably and thoroughly enjoyed all the amenities that come with your stay. The property was nothing short of beautiful and the location could not have been beat! I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone staying in the area and do hope to again myself!

Sue was very proactive and provided exact instructions for getting to the property. The apartment was in a lovely location by the water and near brilliant history like Kilmartin Glen.

The view is unbeatable! Great location, super clean, and loved the hot tub.
