Such a beautiful cottage, had a perfect peaceful stay and Bonnie was a lovely host. I would happily stay here again and recommend to anyone.

Linda and Keith were very hospitable. Gave suggestions for places to dine at and visit. The beds were comfortable the kitchen had everything you need. She even asked what kind of coffee we drink so that she would have upon are arrival. Anytime we texted her response was very prompt. I would highly recommend the shady rest to all that are visiting in the area. You’re close to so many water falls which are amazing.

We throughly enjoyed our stay! it is the perfect place for a quick get away! We absolutely loved the muffins that were left for us and had everything we could possibly need and more! 10/10 recommend picking this place for your stay!

It became a home away from home for my wife and I. Beautiful location, nicely tucked away from the crowded roads and set in a very private area on the lake. Full access to good food and groceries just down the road (city ofLavonia.) its very peaceful and relaxing. Thank you to the hosts for their amazing responsiveness and very well maintained and beautiful home. They put in the effort in making this home a convenient, cozy, relaxing accommodation with no hassles. This location is now one of our favorite go to vacation spots. worth every moment.
