Ross Mountain Tiny House - great trail access!

AlliRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My husband and I came here to relax for our 6th wedding anniversary. We had a lovely time! It was peaceful, low-key, and very private. It was small, but VERY comfortable and cozy. It was also clean and smelled new! We are looking forward to bringing our son sometime in the future for a family trip!

Absolutely! Here's a polished Airbnb review you can use: --- **Review:** Staying in this treehouse was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the attention to detail and the incredible craftsmanship that went into every corner of the space. It’s clear the hosts have put a lot of thought and care into creating something truly special. The treehouse strikes the perfect balance between rustic charm and modern comfort. Everything—from the cozy furnishings to the high-quality finishes—felt intentional and well-designed. It was peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature, making it an ideal escape. If you’re looking for a unique stay that doesn’t compromise on comfort or quality, this is it. Highly recommended!

Cozy Scaly Mountain Cabin

JenniferRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Heather’s place was a great retreat! The cabin was well appointed with interesting decor and a comfortable bed. She had everything one needs for a restful stay from the snacks in the cupboard to the drinks in the fridge. The shower had good water pressure with hot water. Plenty of clean, soft towels were set out ready for you. The landscape had to be my favorite! She takes great pride in offering a variety of flowering plants in the front garden. The moss garden was my favorite! It reminded me of my childhood and playing in the woods. The moss was always my carpet in my fairy home.😁 There are lots of seating outside to accommodate your nature soaking. It rained when we were there and so we did not use the fire chimney but it was a nice feature given the right time. We definitely be back to the Locust Log Cabin whenever we want a quick getaway. The Retreat at Laurelwood - A couple's getaway!

ToddRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We came for the weekend for a Clemson football game. This is a great location and close enough to campus. The host is great and very responsive to questions. Location was perfect for the two of us. It is out in a very secluded area but not that far to area with restaurants but we brought food and the kitchen had everything we needed. There are hiking trails on property and state parks not very far away. Its very quite with no noise or light pollution...not sure I've seen that many stars before. The location has everything we needed and more. We will definitely stay here again!

Creekside Escape~ pool table & sleeps 8

DustinRating, 5 stars4 days ago
I loved this place! This is the only home available in Walhalla and it is definitely worth it. The house had tons of open space and plenty of sleeping room. Everything was super clean with new beds and appliances. In the mornings, I really enjoyed drinking coffee on the deck and listened to the sound of the creek in the backyard! The area is also very peaceful and super close to Jocassee, which we liked. The pool table was a great touch too and fun to use! Sarah and Justin were super friendly hosts that were always communicative and accommodating. I’d stay here anytime and would love to come back!

Spectacular View - Sweet Cabin (1 bd option)

JonRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This home is a perfect getaway. It is off the beaten path, yet only 8 or 9 minutes from Highlands. It is well equipped for just about all of your needs and then some. The host was very responsive and even reached out to us to see how our first night went. I can’t recommend it enough. The only problem that we encountered was the strength of wifi, which obviously affects your streaming ability. With an AT&T and a Verizon phone, both had no signal while we were there. Beyond that, put your phone down and enjoy what you came to enjoy. You won’t lose all contact with civilization, but I would not recommend it for a business related retreat or a week/weekend where broadband access is crucial. Other than that, It is probably one of the most well furnished and well equipped Airbnb’s I have stayed in. Everything was clean, comfortable, and very cozy. It was a perfect couple of days for our honeymoon, and we are already looking forward to returning. PSA: Driving an SUV or a truck is advisable.
