Cabin vacation rentals in Oconee County

Over the past 35 years I have stayed in many rental properties in Sky Valley! This property ranks up in the top 10. We loved the privacy, the space and the attention to details. We especially loved the cleanliness throughout and the comfort of the beds! We had a slight issue with the television, but Julian’s response was immediate and we didn’t miss the golf tournament. We highly recommend this property for your next mountain getaway!

Elisabeth’s description of the property was very accurate. I made sure to read all the info provided before and after booking. It was a perfect, peaceful , and cozy stay. My husband and I, our daughter, and two dogs were welcomed and comfortable. Kitchen was clean and well supplied as was every other space. Any questions were answered promptly and efficiently. I had never been in an inflatable hot tub before but all three of us are sold and wanting to get one for home now. Very nice and just what we were needing. Thank you!!!!

The cabin was incredibly cute and was spotless. We were up here to attend a family reunion in Highlands and we’re back and forth all weekend. The last little bit of the drive was on an unpaved road, but it wasn’t anything we hadn’t expected based on the description in the property listing, and was really beautiful so we didn’t mind one bit. The location feels like you are the only one around for miles (you aren’t, really) but the cabin itself is so well appointed, it’s hard to believe you’re tucked way back and as secluded as you are. The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen is stocked with every single thing you might need. The internet was a big one for us. My husband had to get some work done while we were up here and was a little concerned about being able to connect to calls and such, but it wasn’t an issue at all. Anyone who has ever been to Cashiers or Highlands knows that if you can get any connection, it’s no small matter, so he was extremely happy it was such a good one.

Words cannot even begin to describe how lovely my stay at this cozy cabin was! It still has that new house smell that I love so much, was spotless as far as cleanliness, had everything I needed in every sense, and the attention to detail was beyond anything I’ve ever experienced at an airbnb. It truly felt like a home away from home. You can tell and just feel how much love, time and effort Ryan & Rochelle put into designing their home and making it feel like one too. Their hospitality was just the cherry on top too! The fresh baked cookies, sweet handwritten note & cold beverages in the fridge upon arrival were such a sweet touch and let me just say… pictures do not do it justice! The views were beautiful, from the creek and its serene sounds to the deck with the hot tub and grill to relax & unwind at, down to being able to look out of the window and watch as the birds come to the bird feeders. Hands down my favorite stay and experience by far. I can’t wait to come back! Thank you!!!

This was an absolutely wonderful vacation for us. Probably one of the best Air B&B we’ve stayed at! Mimi is thoughtful and accommodating to her guests! We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and she was nice enough to surprise us with a birthday card! Hot tub was wonderful, the place was clean and we loved the fact that it had a washer/dryer and a dishwasher. We fished the lake all weekend, had a blast! We will return in the future!

Highly recommend! We enjoyed a five night stay at Sabir’s cabin and commuted to Clemson daily as our son attended basketball camp on campus. I will say this is one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. The cabin was warm and welcoming, spotless, and perfectly matched the description. There was no detail overlooked. It was well-stocked with everything we needed. The kitchen was supplied with more than basic necessities. While we didn’t end up using them, we were happy to find a toaster, blender, and griddle for pancakes. The beds were comfortable and bedrooms were cozy. The lake was beautiful. We really enjoyed the swing on the dock and the sunbathing mat. We brought our own kayaks as my husband enjoys his fishing kayak but that was not necessary as Sabir had two youths kayaks and one tandem for use. Overall, it was an exceptional place and I cannot wait to return again soon.

My family stayed for three nights to attend a wedding in nearby Clayton. It’s a beautiful area and this house was a cozy and comfortable spot to return to each night. Wish we had a few more days to sample some of the many activities available, especially at the Sky Valley Club where one can swim and play golf, tennis, even bocce.

Just a great time Honestly! Place was fun and perfect for my brother’s fishing and kayaking getaway trip. Just the right size and the best recommendations for everything. Great host, great home, and great location! Couldn’t have been more perfect. P.S. The shower pressure and temperature was like luxury at the end of a day at the lake. Highly recommend

This was one of the most tranquil stays we’ve ever had. I sat on the front porch drinking coffee and relaxing to the sound of rain drizzling through the tree limbs and birds singing. The place was very clean and comfortable. We used the fire pit one night and it was very nice. I don’t usually revisit the same place but we might be back to this one.

Deanna is a fabulous host. She was extremely responsive to our questions. The place was great and very comfortable. If you are a bass fisherman the locking garage for your boat is awesome. We will be back for sure

Heather’s place was a great retreat! The cabin was well appointed with interesting decor and a comfortable bed. She had everything one needs for a restful stay from the snacks in the cupboard to the drinks in the fridge. The shower had good water pressure with hot water. Plenty of clean, soft towels were set out ready for you. The landscape had to be my favorite! She takes great pride in offering a variety of flowering plants in the front garden. The moss garden was my favorite! It reminded me of my childhood and playing in the woods. The moss was always my carpet in my fairy home.😁 There are lots of seating outside to accommodate your nature soaking. It rained when we were there and so we did not use the fire chimney but it was a nice feature given the right time. We definitely be back to the Locust Log Cabin whenever we want a quick getaway. Beautiful location/cabin and fantastic host. First time booking with AirBnB but it won’t be my last after the fantastic stay surrounded by green trees.

I loved this cute rustic cabin! It exceeded my expectations. It was beautiful and well stocked. The sound of the creek running right beside the cabin was so peaceful. There was plenty of privacy, but yet not far from town. I will definitely be back!

We loved our stay here. It is a charming, cozy and peaceful retreat, within a short and scenic 5 minute drive from downtown Highlands.

I can't say enough good things about Scott and Christina's home! The game room was so much fun! The game room is in a nice and separate building. We enjoyed having access to games, Sling TV, a clean home, plenty of towels, and minimal chores. The home was well stocked with extra pillows and blankets. The hosts were very friendly and responsive! We absolutely loved our stay! We'll definitely go back! I strongly recommend staying here! Thank you, Scott and Christina!

Amazing spot along a beautiful creek. We really enjoyed spending our mornings and evenings on the balconies with the peaceful sounds of birds and the rushing water. Great location near so many attractions - waterfalls, trails, scenic overlooks, restaurants in Highlands and over the GA border. The Airbnb and whole area was incredibly dog friendly, our pups had a great time taking it all in with us. We certainly hope to come back!

Absolutely gorgeous views from the huge screened in porch overlooking the lake! So calm and serene, only saw one boat in the cove over two days. We spent most of our time relaxing and looking out onto the lake. Very clean, just as described, massage chair was an unexpected treat. Will definitely stay again and refer friends that are looking for a peaceful getaway. Book with confidence!

Joanna and her team were amazing and responsive. They made sure to check that we were reserved guest which made us feel secure. The team was kind enough to let us visit and fish at the lodging area. It was a great experience.

We love visiting sky valley and Jennifer’s place did not disappoint! It was a peaceful paradise nestled in the hills. We all had so much fun! Would book again for sure!

The cabin in Seneca was perfect for our 3 family vacation. The house had everything we needed and the lake access was great. All sizes of life jackets , beach towels, and kayaks were so helpful. The rooms were clean and everyone had their own space. The room downstairs for the kids was great for the few times it rained. We loved this place

We had a wonderful stay in Highlands! The space was cozy, and super well thought out. We liked being a bit away from the hustle and bustle of downtown, but being able to get there quickly. I’d definitely recommend this spot!
