Beautiful house in the middle of the peaceful woods right above Lake Hartwell that has everything you ever dreamed of and is wonderful for any time of the year! The owners are really friendly and have equipped the space with everything you need for a perfect stay, great for both vacation and remote work. The two-story indoor space is comfortable and tastefully decorated. The spacious upstairs porch with table, chairs, grill, and TV is also a great living and working area. Plus there’s a covered dock with chairs to enjoy the lake scene while soaking up the sun, kayaks to explore the inlets, and even a firepit for well-rounded outdoor living!

Sunsets and Siestas was fantastic! Alan and Sylvia were responsive and friendly leading up to and during our stay. The home was very well equipped with furnishings, bedding, etc. The kitchen was a huge success. We were amazed at how many amenities were in the kitchen. We cooked everyday and the kitchen was well appointed with dual ovens and many other great features and appliances. The new Weber grill outside was also a great added feature! Our entire family of 16 had plenty of space to enjoy the house, pool, boat dock, and outdoor fireplace/hot tub area! I highly recommend Sunsets and Siestas! Lake Keowee and the entire area is full of outdoor adventures and fun for all ages.

Our stay at the lake house was great! The house was clean and had good quality beds and amazing views. The location is perfect—right on the lake and with a private dock where you can find kayaks and paddle boards. The back deck was perfect for relaxing on. We also opted to add the jet skis, which were a highlight and so much fun to zip around on! The listing was accurate, and the fire pit added a nice touch. We felt right at home, and we liked the value for a great property. Carter was easy to work with on anything and appreciate the hospitality.

We had a wonderful time with our kids for spring break. Everything was exactly how it was listed. Very responsive host. And the place is beautiful. Tilleys tiki bar is a must try restaurant. Easy access for a boat ramp as well to dock. Adding to our list of places to come to again.

Linda is a wonderful host and this home is absolutely beautiful! As attractive as the photos are we were even more impressed upon entry. This place is updated everywhere with quality and taste and it is very spacious. So many great spots to sit and enjoy a coffee a book plus a great walking trail around the lake. Only wish our stay was longer so we will be back for a week next time!

New Waterfront House with Big Views & Private Dock

This house was amazing. It was very clean and we all felt right at home as soon as we walked in. It's well-furnished and the layout allows for both group settings as well as privacy. The views from the back of the house overlook the lake and provide for incredible and peaceful views. Be sure to open the curtains at night for the master bedroom so you can view the water and the stars on a clear night before waking up to the beautiful sights of the lake in the morning. The driveway allowed for three vehicles to easily park without having to move cars around when someone needed to leave. There was still easily room for more vehicles if necessary though that would require planning for coming and going. One guest that came with me spent a day working on the screened-in part of the upstairs back porch and raved about it being the best place to work between the comfort and the relaxing views. I would definitely stay here again! Great host and great house!

Scott was responsive to all requests/concerns we had during our stay. The amenities are A+ and the cabin is very spacious with multiple areas to congregate or separate! With the exception of hiking Station Cove Falls trail, attending a Christmas Eve service, and fishing at a childhood fishing spot, we found that the amenities of this cabin were very sufficient for the 5 days we were there. An important detail to note on this review is that the bedroom on the main level has a queen bed. The other 3 bedrooms are up a very steep flight of stairs. The room with the king-sized bed does not have a single bed, as indicated on the site. For my family of 6 adults, we found that this cabin sleeps only 5 comfortably. There are 2 cots, one on the upper level and one on the basement level along with a futon-style sofa. Scott has put a lot of thought into making this property a vacation home waiting to make special memories for families who stay here!

Absolutely beautiful. We felt at home right away; John’s place is comfortable and so peaceful. The view of the lake was gorgeous and we enjoyed eating dinner out on the screened-in porch. The hot tub was great at the end of a long day, and the stars at night over the lake were beautiful. My kids enjoyed all of the fun games in the basement, and I don’t think I’ve ever slept in a more comfortable bed. We were just stopping over in Seneca, so unfortunately we were only able to enjoy this beautiful place for a day, but definitely plan to be back for longer next time!

The cabin is spacious, offering plenty of room for our entire family to spread out and relax. The layout was perfect for both socializing and having some quiet time to ourselves. The views of the lake are truly breathtaking – whether we were enjoying a morning coffee at sunrise or winding down with a glass of wine during sunset, the scenery was a highlight every day. The location was also incredibly convenient, making it easy to get to Clemson University. Whether we were heading into town for a visit or just exploring the area, it was a short drive to everything we needed. The cabin itself was spotless and well-maintained. The cozy, yet modern touches made it a perfect retreat, and the peaceful atmosphere was exactly what we needed for a great family trip.

Our stay was wonderful! Lots of room to spread out, gorgeous lake, large hot tub, fire pit, kayaks, a marina close by -- everything you could want! We celebrated my sister's 30th birthday here with a group of friends and we didn't want to leave. The kitchen was well stocked and the grill was large enough to cook for a large group easily. Andrew was a lovely host! This was a lovely stay and we will be back!

The Bobber Bungalow is such a cute stay with beautiful views. Loved the back sunroom and the access to the cove. Neighbors were all very quiet. Lindsay communicated well with us before and during our stay and house was very clean when we arrived. Only wish was that there was a door or curtain between master bedroom and master bath. Otherwise, everything was wonderful! Thank you!

Our host was so kind and for that I am so thankful! The home and property are beautiful. The kitchen is way better equipped than any other place I’ve stayed (at least 10 different ones) which is awesome if you love to cook like me and are there cooking a holiday feast! Y’all, no place will feel perfect because no other place is your own home but this place comes close. Ildi’s responsiveness and kindness are the icing on the cake. We had a simple and pleasant experience here at the lake house and that’s all that we prayed for.

We wanted to check out Clemson University for our daughter and have a holiday getaway for our family of 4. This place was perfect! The interior of the house is very fresh & nice…exactly what you see in the photos. Since we were there in the winter & the weather wasn’t great, we didn’t get to hang out outside as much as we had hoped, but we did sit out under the covered part of the deck when it was raining & walk around a bit when it wasn’t. Beautiful property! The dock is great and that huge side deck & the outdoor kitchen are amazing! If our daughter ends up attending Clemson in a couple years, this will absolutely be our first choice to stay when we visit. Even if she doesn’t, we would love to come back in the summer to everything this place has to offer!

We spent our wedding weekend in this beautiful airbnb. Not only was it the perfect space with an amazing view, but Melinda went above and beyond for us! We were greeted with goodies to congratulate us on our upcoming nuptials, she checked in on us after a storm passed through, and was so responsive to each message. The kids loved the games and s’more’s she provided and my husband and I enjoyed relaxing in the hammock swings. We cannot wait to visit again when the weather warms up to fully enjoy the lake! We could not recommend this place or this host more!

We choose this location so we could be close to Clemson University for the football game. Highly suggest this location especially with a group of people .

This is a great house to rent if you are visiting Clemson. Easy access to Lake Hartwell and the hosts will rent you a pontoon boat. We rented it for the weekend and went out on the water. It was very relaxing! There is a golf cart included with the house and we took it down to the dock where the boat is located. Great fire pit which is fun to hang out at during the evening. Christine and her husband James were very responsive and accessible for any questions we had. The house is very nice and the neighbors are even nicer. Everyone in this area is very friendly and will help you with anything you need. Southern hospitality to its fullest for sure.

This was hands down the most hospitable AirBnB we’ve stayed in yet. You can tell when the owners are the actual hosts 😉. During our stay, we used the kayaks, fire pit (with included firewood and kindling), deck for dog, screened in porch to play board games, deck to swim around, lounge chairs to sun bathe and fishing poles. We caught lots of fish right off the dock (tons of bites if you drop your line compared to casting or even out on the lake!). This home had everything we needed and it was sooo peaceful. At night there were no curtains in the big living room windows but it got so dark out that we literally didn’t need any! The water pressure in the shower was lovely, and plenty of towels for all 6 of us. We brought our golden, and four kids and there was just the right amount of space for us all. The hosts were very responsive and we took their recommendation to take a pic of the front door instructions due to WiFi and it was very helpful! We can’t wait to come back again!

I had a lovely stay. The home was very basic, but it was just what I was looking for. The lake is beautiful and very secluded. There was no soap or shampoo provided. There was also no sponge or dish brush, so cleaning dishes was tricky. And finally, there was no coffee. These are small things, but they are listed on the listing, so I did not bring any of those items.
