Nice old granny

A warm, cozy cottage, close to fishing, berry picking and hunting grounds The cottage is located in a village of 4 permanent residents called Äijäjoki, there are several cottages in the village. The cottage, actually a house, has been somewhat renovated but still needs a little bit of work, but it feels cozy, like a granny's house. Right next to the house there is a river that can be seen from the terrace of the outdoor sauna, the Rajajoki river is nearby. The rent includes linen, snowshoes and forest boots for four, as well as sleds and kick sleds.

From Oulu, there are several bus options to Haukipudas. From the bus stop about 800m to the destination. There is a stream behind the cabin. It is about 300-meter walk to the riverbank. Two bicycles are available. Please note that starting in July 2026, check-in will be from 6 p.m. and check-out will be at 3 p.m. There is plenty of parking space at the property.
