Everything about this apartment is 5 stars and if you are planning to stay with a young child I'd give it 10! The apartment checks all of the boxes: location is walkable to the town, check in/check out is simple, the view is stunning, the furnishings are comfortable, and the apartment includes any amenities you might need. We stayed with our toddler and Caroline went above and beyond in a way we have not seen at an Airbnb before. There was a travel crib, high chair, bibs, and a toy bin. It was such a pleasant surprise. We had everything we could need for him and our son truly enjoyed his stay! I would stay with or without children, it was such a wonderful stay! But as someone traveling with a child, we have never felt so welcomed and accommodated.

Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Gastgeberehepaar. Wir haben vier traumhafte Wochen in dieser sehr schönen Unterkunft verbracht. Der Service war perfekt. Die Gastgeberin hat uns sogar mit auf Ihre Hunderunden mitgenommen. Nicht nur wir waren begeistert sondern auch unser Hund Buddy hat sich von Anfang an heimisch gefühlt und sich Tag für Tag seine Leckerchen abgeholt. Besonders wertvoll waren auch die persönlichen Ausflugstipps. Danke für einen absolut gelungenen Urlaub

We’re originally from Sri Lanka and Nepal, and even though we live in Finland now, this was our first time in Sweden , and it was such a lovely experience! We stayed just one night, but honestly, it was one of the nicest places we’ve been. Carl gave really clear instructions and a lot of helpful info about things to do, places to visit, and nearby stores. The cottage was right by the lake, and the view was amazing and so peaceful. It was small but super cozy and warm , felt really homey. We also got to go kayaking, which Carl arranged for us. Really great stay, we’d totally recommend it!

Beautiful spot overlooking Reine harbor! Convenient to grocery, easy drive to everything you want - loved exploring south and central areas. Lars’ place is easy to find and very central. Love sitting on the deck with afternoon sun on the mountains!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt bei Johanna. Die Wohnung war sehr schön mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Gegend ist ruhig, privat und eignet sich super für das Beobachten von Polarlichtern. Bei Johanna haben wir die stärksten Polarlichter unseres Lebens gesehen. Johanna selbst war eine sehr sympathische Gastgeberin.

Wir haben die Wohnung genau so vorgefunden, wie sie beschrieben war – sehr sauber, ordentlich und gut ausgestattet. Der Check-in über die Schlüsselbox war unkompliziert und hat reibungslos funktioniert. Besonders positiv fanden wir, dass Bettwäsche sowie ein grosses und ein kleines Handtuch pro Person bereitgestellt wurden. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und bietet alles, was man für den Aufenthalt braucht, inklusive Kühlschrank und Tiefkühler. Das Sofa ist sehr bequem und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Die Vorhänge im Wohnzimmer sorgen für ausreichend Sichtschutz, und im Schlafzimmer dunkeln sie den Raum hervorragend ab. Die Kommunikation mit Axel war freundlich und schnell – alles lief problemlos. Auch unser Hund war herzlich willkommen, was wir sehr geschätzt haben. Uns hat der Aufenthalt rundum gefallen, und wir würden diese moderne Wohnung jederzeit wieder buchen. Vielen Dank!

This was our first time on Lofoten and the tiny house from Kari was a great place for our holiday. Located near a beautiful beach we enjoyed the calm location with great views of the surrounding mountains. The house had anything we needed and the couch was very comfortable to sleep on. The sauna was a welcome addition with the cold weather. We appreciated the quick help from Kari for all our questions. Very happy to come back for more relaxing and resetting from the usual daily life!

We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen Haus war einfach unvergesslich! Die Lage am Fluss war absolut atemberaubend und die Aussicht auf die Natur rundum ließ uns jeden Tag aufs Neue staunen. Ein ganz besonderes Highlight war der Abend, an dem wir die Polarlichter direkt über dem Haus und dem angrenzenden Fluss sehen konnten – ein Anblick, den man wohl nur selten im Leben erlebt! Es war ein magischer Moment, den wir nie vergessen werden. Die Umgebung war unglaublich ruhig und privat – perfekt, um wirklich abzuschalten und die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Für uns war es die perfekte Auszeit, fernab vom hektischen Alltag. Die Fahrt zur nächsten Stadt und Einkaufsmöglichkeit dauert zwar etwa eine halbe Stunde, aber das war für uns überhaupt kein Problem, denn es hat sich absolut gelohnt, in dieser idyllischen Lage zu wohnen. Ein Auto ist hier definitiv notwendig, um die Region bequem zu erkunden. Alles in allem war es eine traumhafte Woche, die wir in vollen Zügen genossen haben.

Jamies van was just what we needed. It was perfect to see Lofoten on our own pace and explore wherever we wanted. The bed is comfortable which is all you really need.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Simon. la vue est exceptionnelle avec de magnifique levés et couchers de soleil. Le logement est de très bonne qualité dans un environnement paisible. c’est la première fois que j’ai envie de revenir, pour un séjour en été peut-être -:)

FOR et sted!!!! Jeg kjente på en umiddelbar ro med en gang jeg kom inn i huset. Huset er stort, og helt nydelig!! Det var godt og varmt, fin innredning og manglet ingenting. Det står et piano i andre etasje, og det elsket jeg! Jeg kan ikke spille, men koste meg veldig med å sitte ved det å "spille" mens jeg så ut over Vefsna. Helt magisk!! Jeg har allerede bestemt meg for å reise tilbake neste vår/sommer, og da skal jeg bo mer enn bare 2 døgn. Anbefaler virkelig både huset og vertskapet her!!!

Als Familie mit 6 Personen und einem Kleinkind haben wir den Aufenthalt im großzügigen Ferienhaus genossen. Die küchenausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen. Der Holzkamin und die geschmackvolle Möblierung trug zur behaglichen Atmosphäre bei. Die tolle Aussicht auf den See und die Beobachtung der Polarlichter vom Balkon und auch durch die großen Fenster, haben uns gefallen. Ilkka war sehr freundlich und zuverlässig, wir empfehlen ihn gerne weiter.

We keken enorm uit naar ons verblijf in Noorwegen en de host was steeds bereikbaar. We kozen voor een verblijf in rust en natuur met sauna en hottub. Voor het gebruik hiervan moesten we bijbetalen wat niet zo heel duidelijk staat vermeld. Voor deze prijs misschien wel wat meer hout voorzien want hier kom je zeker niet mee toe en vermits de prijs toch al prijzig is mocht dit er wel onbeperkt inzitten vinden wij. Het huis was proper, ruim en prachtig zicht. Wel een gevaarlijke trap naar boven, vooral het gat naar onder als je boven staat. Kinderen die aan het spelen zijn hebben dit niet altijd in het oog, misschien een omheining voorzien voor de veiligheid! De openhaard is zeker een pluspunt want we houden van deze gezelligheid. We hebben 5 van de 6 nachten het noorderlicht kunnen bewonderen vanop het terras. De keukenuitrusting kan misschien nog iets uitgebreider. We misten een mixer om onze soep te mixen en een vergiet om de spaghetti af te schudden.

This stay was by far one of our absolute favorite Airbnbs! The cabin is beautifully designed, spacious, and perfectly situated to take in the breathtaking views of the seaside. Sitting in the cozy living room, watching the ever-changing scenery through the large windows, was an experience in itself—especially since we were lucky enough to see both the northern lights and whales during our stay! The location is wonderfully peaceful, surrounded by nature with almost no neighbors, yet still conveniently close to Tromsø. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals while enjoying the incredible views. The bedrooms were comfortable and everything felt clean and modern. If you're looking for a relaxing escape with stunning scenery and the chance to see incredible wildlife, this is the perfect place. We can't recommend it highly enough and would love to return one day!

Amazing cabin in Ringvassøya, as quiet as the arctic countryside but conveniently located 30mins from Tromsø! The house, fully furnished and equipped, is just beautiful, it feels like being on a boat… the sauna in front of the Ocean is an absolute blast! Tina and René have been super reactive and helpful when needed! Couldn’t ask for more! :) hope to see you next time!

Wir durften 8 Tage in Kathrines wunderschönem Haus verbringen. Die Lage, Ruhe und Aussicht sind einmalig. Das ganze Haus ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl, weshalb auch ein Regentag kein Problem darstellt. Die Küchenausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen, sodass man sich prima selbst versorgen kann. Besonders zu erwähnen sind hier der Kaffeevollautomat sowie der Sodastream. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und die Stressless Sessel im Wohnzimmer laden zum Relaxen ein. Der Whirlpool auf der Terrasse mit der tollen Aussicht ist phänomathenal. Kathrine reagiert innerhalb kurzer Zeit auf Rückfragen und gibt auch proaktiv Informationen weiter. So hat sie uns über den stattfindenden Artic Run informiert, wo wir die Gelegenheit hatten, sie kennenzulernen, was uns sehr gefreut hat. Wir haben die Tage im Haus von Kathrine und Glenn total genossen und hoffen, dass wir im Winter wiederkommen können.

Die Lage des Hauses ist einfach wunderschön. Der direkte Blick auf den See war zur Entspannung einfach nur gut.

We spent two weeks in Norway and the four nights in this beautiful home and area were the highlight of our trip. It is such a special place and this cosy home is very well equipped. Karin and Arild were delightful and responsive hosts. It was no problem to be greeted and shown around the property, even with our late arrival. The location is stunning and if you appreciate nature, views and hiking, you will be very happy here. The house itself has incredible views and the shared spaces and deck are very well set up to make the most of the location. We hiked up the mountain just down the road, explored the foreshore and used this as a great base to explore the greater area. The house was very well equipped. We even made waffles with the waffle-maker provided! Instructions and interactions with the hosts were clear and easy. I hope we can return one day. I will remember our time forever.

Das war eine der schönsten Unterkünfte in der wir je waren. Wir haben den Blick auf das Meer geliebt, konnten Austernfischer, Möwen, Adler und Otter vom Sofa aus beobachten. In der direkten Umgebung haben wir Elche und Rentiere gesehen. Es war toll! Die Unterkunft ist sehr durchdacht mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Wir kommen jederzeit gern wieder.

If you’re looking for an authentic yet comfortable rorbuer in a peaceful location on the Lofoten, Rune’s cabin ticks all the boxes! My partner and I stayed for 6 nights and loved it. When we had good weather, we hiked from our door up into the mountains and explored the local area. When the weather wasn’t great, we got the fire going and watched the rain roll in from the sea while toasty warm inside. Rune & Marit are great hosts and I highly recommend staying here.

Everything about this stay was wonderful. From the beginning, Fredrik was communicative leading up to the stay. He offered advice and recommendations for things to do in the area. This home is immaculately designed and decorated. Very Scandinavian and minimalist design, which is my personal favorite. On top of that, the view is just gorgeous. It was hard to ever leave the home. We hope to come back again one day and stay again.
