The Hacienda del Sol is a Historic Bed and Breakfast built in 1804. The Hacienda was Mabel Dodge Lujan and Tony Lujan's first home together in Taos. Guests that have stayed at our Inn included Georgia O'Keefe, Ansel Adams, Willa Cather, DH Lawrence, etc. We have two big beautiful lawns in the back of our Inn with clear sunset views of Taos Mountain. We serve a delicious Gourmet Free Breakfast. The Love Apple, (A+ restaurant), shares our driveway and is walking distance for dinner.

Route 66 - Bobcat Inn

Get your kicks in our Route 66 room! Many people don't realize the road we're on is Old Las Vegas Highway, which is part of the Old Route 66. While the original "Mother Road" no longer exists, you can take a stroll down memory lane in our newly renovated road themed room which has its own parking and is just up the stairway and on the left side of the Bobdog Bungalow, which is a separate 2 room Casita on the Bobcat Inn property. The Route 66 room is dog friendly ($25/dog/night fee applies).

Guest love this room because it sits right next to the community firepit and Alpines large private park. Alpine Lodge no longer allows trailers on property, that includes loading and unloading vehicles. Any guests traveling with trailers must use Red River's public parking areas for parking, loading, and unloading vehicles from trailers.
