Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Northern Europe

Just home from a lovely couple of nights away- 2 families, four children ranging from 4-14 and one dog. The house was immaculate, really well equipped and beautiful. The space worked well for two families and different aged children. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen space/ dining was fabulous and social. Very grateful for the milk and cake on arrival, useful items such as dishwasher tablets etc and the dog was delighted with her doggy chocolate bar! Great location- minutes from Hay. Came to visit some family who live locally and will most likely be back. Thank you. 🙏

This is a real gem of Serbia: a spacious and cozy guesthouse with a nice bedroom, a small hermit corner under the roof, a firewood furnace (providing a cooking surface, an oven and heated floors at the same time), a sauna, a great library and a display of 300+ wine bottles collected by Dragan from all over the world; it felt like home immediately. The kitchen is nice and convenient, with a huge double sink and everything that one can require for cooking. There's also a barbeque grill outside. Branimir the Dog is a restless adorable furry representative of its species. He's got bigger (compared to older reviews), as now he's a force to be reckoned with. He loves his life and compels any one around to love theirs. There's also a gray cat, but she didn't introduce herself. She isn't very fond of Branimir keeping her entertained all the time, mostly against her purring will. The place is hosted by Dragan and Ana, they're very friendly hosts. Their house is next door. 100% recommended!

Fantastic !!! Booked this home as part of my wifes 70th birthday celebrations for 6 adults and 3 grandchildren aged 3,6 & 9. Tracy met us on arrival to show us around this wonderful house and pass on everything we needed to know. The house in real life is better than the photos. It is so spacious and as my granddaughter said Tracy has thought of everything there is so much for us to do. Tracy also left us a lovely home made cake. The kitchen was a great communal place with a 10 seater table overlooking the amazing outdoor space via two sets of patio doors. A great way to start the day. All rooms were a good size. Outdoors there is a beautiful large garden with a trampoline for the kids, a gas bbq for the adults a barn with a table tennis table and a host of toys and ride on vehicles for the little ones. Go through the gap at the end of the garden to the very popular tree house Nobody wanted to leave after a fantastic couple of days. This is a great house.

The first thing to say about Paul's place is that it actually exceeded our already high expectations. The house is bigger and even nicer than we were expecting, and the garden is the real highlight. We stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate our friend's birthday and were extremely lucky with the weather which made it the perfect stay. So much space to spend the day relaxing in the garden, paddling in the stream, and lovely country walk options too. The house itself is well equipped with everything we needed to cook a big meal for 15 and was big enough to not feel crammed in with that many people there. We all absolutely loved our stay and didn't want to leave, and are already trying to find an excuse to come back again soon!

Had a lovely stay at Sunny Hill. The house was clean and cosily decorated. Sandra was a really great host and was always proactive in checking we had everything we need for a lovely stay. The views out to the mountains were great and all the best sights and supermarkets were only a few minutes away. Thanks again Sandra!

We have just had the most wonderful stay at the red brick house. We were a group of 3 adults (one elderly) and 4 children aged 10, 8, 6 and 3. The house fit our needs perfectly, plenty of room for the children to run around in with the fantastic addition of the basement games room which had plenty of use from us all. Location was perfect for my elderly father in law as was only a short walk to the town. Joe who was there to greet us was very welcoming and helped settle us in and was also there to check that our stay had gone ok at the end. We will most definitely be back. Thank you very much. Very comfortable apartment, with excellent bedding. Very good welcome with a basket of fruits, alcohols, chocolates, milk, butter, bread, in short enough to hold for the Sunday evening when everything was closed! A beautiful and lovely coffee maker! The terrace is lovely. There is a supermarket, pharmacy and bakery nearby. Just missing a toaster and a few utensils. Very well located apartment for visits.

The apartment is really very nicely located on the equestrian farm. Especially the bathroom is fun with the 2in1 shower/toilet. The view of the horses in the morning and also the quiet nature all around, as well as the short distance to the bastion make this accommodation really recommended.

I recently stayed at a charming apartment in Tirana with my girlfriend for a weekend, and it was fantastic. The apartment was impeccably clean and beautifully furnished, creating a serene and relaxing atmosphere. Located in the best neighborhood of Tirana, we enjoyed easy access to a variety of wonderful bars, restaurants, and shops, adding to the overall appeal of our stay. The host was exceptional, always available and a pleasure to communicate with. His attentiveness made our experience even more enjoyable. In summary, our weekend retreat in this apartment was perfect. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable stay in Tirana.

SERGIO WAS SO HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY HE MET US IN FRONT OF HIS PLACE AND DIRECTED US WHERE TO PARK HELPED US UNLOAD THE LUGGAGE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING WE NEEDED TO KNOW. AND MADE SURE WE WERE HAPPY THE LAST DAY I MISPLACED MY CAR KEYS AND HE HELPED US FIND THEM AND LET US STAY LATE WHILE HE CALLED THE RENTAL COMPANY AND EXPLAINED OUR SITUATION WE FOUND THE KEYS BECAUSE OF HIS EXTRA TIME AND EFFORT THE LOCATION IS PERFECT FOR VISITING SPLIT THE WATER PALACE AND PARKS ARE ALL WITHIN CLOSE WALKING DISTANCE WE WILL STAY THEIR AGAIN WITHOUT CONSIDERING ANY OTHER PLACE THANK YOU SERGIO

We felt at home! When we arrived we were immediately welcomed and had a perfect first evening. The house, pool and view of the vineyards is indescribable. You don't feel like an anonymous guest, you feel very welcome. We will definitely visit again! Thanks :)

I highly recommend staying with Barbara in Korcula. The place is beautiful and clean. The house is very large and well-equipped. Barbara prepared everything for us in the best possible way - I have never met such an open host. Wine, home-made olive oil and other local delicacies were waiting for us. In front of the house there is a beautiful garden with flowers, olive trees and fresh herbs that we could use. There was also a barbecue available, and we ate meals in the garden in a bower covered with grapes. There were also two swimming pools that Barbara cleaned every morning. Opposite there is a great winery, a beautiful church and a nice village to walk around. This is a place to which we would love to return - it was like in a fairy tale. Whenever we needed help and information, the host immediately helped us and recommended the best places. Thank you Barbara! :)

My boyfriend and I had a really good stay at Johan's nice house. We felt at home and all the amenities were just perfect. The house was easy to heat, we cooked on a fire and slept really well in the bedroom upstairs under the roof. It's a house we want to rebook. Great communication and clear instructions for check-in. We give the house and the host our warmest recommendations!

Brilliant place for a re set if thats what your looking for as we were. Outdoor bath was amazing, views beautiful, canin really cute and comfy. Firepit was lovely too. The other 4 cabins are closeby but you do manage to get your privacy. Dont hesitate its fab!!

It is a really beautiful house, located directly on the ski slopes with a magnificent view of Skeikampen. I warmly recommend this house! The proximity to a sports shop and Joker is also nice.

Me and my partner stayed for one night, we really enjoyed the scenery, and it was lovely and quiet. We booked mainly for the hot tub which we enjoyed but ended up enjoying chatting by the fire pit even more! The place was stunning, super clean and comfy. We loved the fairy lights that really added that extra touch to the place in the evening. Only thing we didn’t have was a lighter to light the fire pit, but the restaurant and bar managed to sort the issue out extremely quickly for us. We would definitely come back again.

We really had great time staying there, Thank you Jacky and Tigger, our boys loved the big garden and the toys. Definitely we will come back.

Me and my fiancé stayed here for a long weekend after our proposal. The place was stunning and so peaceful. The team went above and beyond to make the stay extra memorable and I would love to return at some point. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing break. The fire pit was excellent as well.

We have had the most amazing few days in the Damson pod. It was so clean, spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. The outdoor space is beautiful and the children loved playing freely in the sectioned off field. They loved saying hello to the alpacas every morning, and Sarah invited us to come and feed them too which my daughter was delighted about! Sarah made us feel really welcome, provided discounts for the local area and put a lovely little welcome pack with biscuits and drinks which was so nice! We had the best time and wish we could have stayed longer!

A wonderful space for people who love a true escape to nature. I’m already missing waking up to the sounds of the birds and the rambling river. Definitely a heart place for me and one we will definitely return to. A wonderful visit thank you Liz.
