Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Northern Europe

We had a wonderful short stay here. The house felt like home. We enjoyed walking in the country park with our dog. We visited Sheringham, Cromer and Cley. Holt town was easy and quick to walk into, with a great selection of shops.

Mireia's place is great. Perfect if you go with dogs, it has everything you need ( bowls for drinking, bed) and a completely fenced lawn for running. The house is very nice, it has everything you need, including the barbecue that had fireplaces and everything. Very nice and quiet. It takes a car to do things in the area but there are beautiful villages to visit. In fact Mireia's recommendations were great.

We had a great stay at Scott’s house. Lovely stay in a brilliant location, right in the centre of Holt. Scott was great with communications, easy instructions for access and also in the house for amenities etc Homemade Victoria sponge waiting for us was a greatly appreciated gesture! Will definitely come again.

Our stay at Sally’s house for two nights was just perfect! Beautifully presented, homely and very clean. Very well equipped throughout and lovely toiletries in the bathroom. Super fluffy white towels. Little extras if you’ve forgotten anything like, toothbrush and paste or shower cap! We enjoyed sitting on the patio in the sunshine with a cuppa, listening to the birds. Great location for walking into town with plenty of shops and pubs. We would definitely stay here again, so would fully recommend! 😃👍🏼

Clean and comfortable apartment. Good location if you have a car. Supermarkets and small restaurants in a short walking distance

Just what we needed for our base in the lakes. The park over the road was ideal for our 5 year old daughter and to get the dogs out on an evening. Cute and cosy, with everything we needed. The Chinese over the road was delicious. plenty of food options within walking distance, but we were out most of the day and just had takeaway.

Issy’s cottage far exceeded our expectations. It was very comfortable and clean. There was nothing you could want for, even a delicious bottle of wine in the spacious fridge. The nearby dog walks were easy to find, safe to have a long off lead walk and an interesting area. The beds were so comfortable I didn’t want to get up and the private garden a lovely space to sit in the sunshine. Issy helped with my questions and always answered quickly, I really felt at home. My husband has Parkinson’s so he spends a lot of the day on his own sitting and sleeping and he really enjoyed the living area which helped me when I was out. Thank you Issy for a great stay.

Stayed just one night here to spend time in the Peak District however there was 5 of us and 2 dogs so finding somewhere that was affordable was difficult! However Bernadette’s place exceeded expectations! Nice little touch with the cake & it literally had everything we needed. Really comfortable stay. Thankyou for having us!

We loved staying in the restored old stone house in the heart of Motovun, and Goran was an easygoing, helpful and welcoming host!

We rented this place for the family Christmas holidays so that we could all meet for a few days. The rooms are nice and everyone was able to find and make their place.

Pleasant stay despite arriving under a strong thunderstorm making access to the accommodation complicated between mud ponds and suitcases Well appointed apartment, pleasant exposure, no complaints;-)

We really enjoyed our stay. The property is finished to a high spec and in a great area. there are plenty of dog friendly places to eat and drink within easy walking distance and we found the locals to all be very friendly and chatty.. our big dog is like a celebrity wherever we take him so that's always a conversation starter! For other dog owners - the yard is VERY secure and you can enjoy the sauna and hot tub without worrying about them. There are light coloured carpets in some rooms downstairs but I had read that on previous reviews so bought many blankets and towels to cover the floor where the dogs would walk and lie.our dogs wouldn't go to the toilet on the yard and the grassy area isn't enclosed from the owners area so we made sure we had them on a lead. Not really an issue but I didn't realise the garden wouldn't be enclosed..only mentioning it to help others. We didn't get to meet Scott but when I had a question he was always super quick in replying .will definitely be back

Throughly enjoyed our long weekend at Leroy’s place. Great location, easy check-in and had everything we needed. Will be returning in the not so distant future

We loved our stay at Docker Holiday Park in this beautiful lodge/caravan. It was immaculately clean when we arrived, is very well equipped and is in beautiful surroundings. My daughter enjoyed the little swing park and we had plenty places to walk the dog. Great location in the rolling hills between the Lakes and the Dales, nearby Kirkby Lonsdale is a pretty little town with great shops and eateries. Thanks for a lovely holiday!

I highly recommend this beautiful house in a quiet and peaceful location. Jill was an excellent host, helpful and informative and the house was spotlessly clean with excellent amenities. The surrounding fields had newborn lambs and free range chickens which added to the atmosphere. if you come across this property when looking for a place to stay, look no further and book it immediately.

The accommodation was very nice, everything you need for a comfortable stay is available. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. We were really welcomed with open arms and she helped us with every one of our wishes as best we could. Feel free to come back anytime.

Just back from a wonderful two nights stay here and highly recommend. Clean, comfortable, and the perfect place to relax. Bev makes you feel right at home and ensures you have all you need. Perfect location for exploring the area by car or foot. A 30 min flat walk through the lovely Pleasant Valley woods takes you to Wiseman’s Bridge. It was lovely to relax in the private garden area, and there is even a hot tub should you want to relax some more. Beautiful garden, lovely homely accommodation. What more could you want! You can even hear peacocks! I shall certainly be back. Thank you Bev.

Very good stay at Sylvie's cottage. The cottage is small but functional, and the garden is very nice. The location is great, quiet but 10-15 minutes from everything you might need. We will come back when we are visiting the area.

Justyna and every member of her family are warm and hospitable. The accommodation is secure and stylish.
