There are good opportunities for outdoor life in summer and winter; swimming, boating, hiking trails, top tours and skiing/downhill skiing at Gautefall ski resort. The other cottages can also be booked through Airbnb. The house is easily accessible by train, Hämelerwald train station is only a 15-minute walk.
