Accessed by its own gated lane and set in a private paddock, "Oliveduck Hut" is the perfect retreat for couples, or singles who prefer their own company. An ideal ‘base camp’ as you explore the National Park and surrounding area. Light a fire and get lazy, chill out in the hottub, star-gaze at the incredible night skies, or just take in the majestic Pen y Fan as you plan (or recover from) your ascent.

In the middle of fields and Knicks, you will find a quiet spot on the edge of the field with panoramic views over the Baltic Sea, the Baltic Sea beach can be reached in 20 minutes by bike. A newly developed 14 m" large construction trailer with a bed (160), a small kitchenette and one seating inside/outside awaits you. The toilet and shower are located in another construction trailer next door. Fresh vegetables and eggs from our garden are available seasonally, as well as a folding bike :)

'Muggans' (named after the Mugwort that grows by the steps) is entirely off-grid and has everything you'll need for a comfortable and memorable getaway, including a wood burning stove to keep you cozy, a wood fired hot tub to soak in under the stars and pizza oven for luxury campfire cooking.

Yewbarrow - Shepherd's hut overlooking Wastwater

One of two traditional wooden shepherd's huts situated at the top of the beautiful Wasdale valley on a working Lakeland hill farm. Both huts have spectacular lake views over Wastwater and the surrounding fells and are the perfect bases for outdoor activities. Each hut comes complete with its own bathroom with shower, kitchen area and outdoor seating with BBQ. The shepherd's huts are brand new for summer 2022 and are currently being built from scratch here on the farm.

Here you can enjoy our mini-farm, pet our animals, stroll through the surrounding forests and experience other adventures. Behind the house, a beautiful lake, Lake Flüggenhof, awaits you! The Peerie Neuk is a sustainably built tiny eco home with all the comforts of a cosy house just a bit tinier! There is a double bed and fold out sofa, suitable for one adult or two children. There’s is a small kitchen with hob, kettle and little fridge (large enough for two bottles of prosecco 🤣). There is a wood burning stove with oven. The oven will keep things warm. There’s on demand hot water, shower and compost toilet.
