Gorgeous riverfront holiday cottage

Lovely cottage in a beautiful part of the world. Well equipped and comfortable. Seating in the living area would be better suited for a family/couple with children rather than 6 adults, though plenty of seating in dining area. Beds were extremely comfortable and the shower was powerful with unlimited hot water. Excellent location with direct access to the river, this must be a perfect spot in the summer months. Parking was a little tricky and a short distance from the property but clear instructions were provided with suggestions for where to park. Would definitely recommend this place to friends and family and would not hesitate to book again.

You won’t find anywhere in Cornwall as affordable as Maria’s caravan. The site it is on “Newquay bay resort” is only 8 min from the town and beach but feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere. The countryside, hills and cows surround you. The pool is massive and clean, kids activities and staff spot on. We had 2 kids 1&3 travelling for a wedding. This place ticked all the boxes. Caravan was cosy and clean. Hot water, heating and everything you need for a break away. Thanks Maria! We loved our stay! Washing machines on site are £4.50 a wash so bring spare clothes to save the wash if you have kids. Newquay is a beautiful area with many beautiful bays and beaches. It’s adorable. Maria was very helpful and an excellent host. Sorry I didn’t get to meet you Maria xX

Dennis and tracie were wonderful hosts I was celebrating my 40th and wow what a beautiful place to do so,they were both so welcoming and with our dogs we actually loved having chats when we took the girls down for the toilet we have already said we would go back next year,place was tidy smelt amazing beautiful views if I could give a 10* I would,thank you both for such a wonderful stay just wish we had been there more than 2 days. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Lyme Regis! The house is brilliantly located a short walk from the centre of town and had everything we needed for our family (2 adults & 3 teenagers) to have a little mini-break over the Easter holidays. We particularly enjoyed being able to access beautiful walks and great restaurants without needing to use the car. We're already planning our next trip!

We loved Katie’s static caravan. It was cosy, well equipped and comfortable. It is easy to access both Charmouth and Lyme Regis. We had 2 kids in the group who couldn’t get over how cool their room was. All 4 adults had never stayed in a caravan either so it was a lovely new experience for all of us and highly recommended.

A lovely relaxing short break at Kesia and Lewys' super apartment. Amazing views and central to all Lynton has to offer. Ideal for visiting the area. Kesia was very helpful with directions and instructions and replied promptly to my queries. The birthday treat for my husband was much appreciated. Hope to be back before too long.

Had a great holiday staying at Sarah's place. The whole apartment was immaculate and had everything we needed for a short break. Views amazing and easy to find as north Fowey is really one long road. About 10 mins steady walk into town centre where there are lots of amenities including 2 great bakeries. Would book again without hesitation.

We spent a relaxing few days at the Beach House which is in a lovely spot with fabulous sea views. It was cosy and warm during our stay in March. It's perfect for coast path walks and the Village Pub in Thurlestone is only 10-15 minutes on foot.

Very spacious lounge/kitchen area with an homely and comfortable feel. It was exactly as expected, the main bedroom was also spacious with lots of storage space, however the second bedroom was good for children but a bit small for adults as my brothers legs were hanging out at the end of the bed. The only other minor things were that the sun did not shine on the balcony due to other caravans/trees etc, but it could have been due to time of year (last 2 weeks of September) as we did have sunny weather for time of year but it didn't reach the balcony. Additionally the road was behind where the bedrooms were so you did get road noise quite late at night.

Very nice cottage that is within walking distance of all local shops, pubs and restuarants. Easy walk to the Valley of the rocks. Tougher walk back from Lynmouth, but worth it. Combe Martin, Ilfracombe and Woolacombe beaches within a short drive. Lovely walks to Heddon Valley, Woody Bay all very local

We had a lovely time at Coastal Soul. Couldnt fault it at all. It was well equipped, very clean and comfortable. The location was great, a few minutes from the coastal path. The little touches the host left were well thought out and much appreciated, including dog bowls, treats and a dog towel. Thankyou so much!

Wonderful house centrally located in the beautiful church garden of St Margaret. Everything is centrally located, supermarket, good restaurants and traditional pubs. The village is very pretty and right on the waterfront. A car is not necessary. Hiking trails start right by the house and there are two ferry stations just a short distance away. The bus and the wonderful Avocet-line take you to all places in and around the Exe Estuary. The house itself is tastefully furnished in keeping with the listed building. Practical, but always true to style. We liked the large eat-in kitchen with gas oven and super equipment for cooking. All the rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. John was always available and very helpful. If you have difficulty with steep stairs or are very tall, the house may not be suitable. Otherwise: full recommendation. We would love to come back. A must visit: A la Ronde, the estate of the Parminster cousins, managed by the National Trust.

Absolutely stunning accommodation in a wonderful setting. It was our first time glamping and Chris & Nicola have thought of everything you could possibly need in a home away home. We were greeted on arrival and Chris helped take our luggage from car to the lodge and explained where everything was and how everything worked. We had some lovely food/drink on arrival which was a perfect touch. We all loved the hot tub and the fire pit, the children especially loved the marshmallows and hot chocolate that was provided. Couldn’t recommend this glamping site enough, the hosts were very lovely and helpful. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay.

This place is as awesome. I’ve been on this app for a decade and this is one of the best airbnbs I’ve stayed in. The house is very well made, everything is natural material. The wood floors were probably the most impressive. The location is amazing as well, open green fields as far as the eye can see, you can also see the ocean. The sunrises and sunsets were phenomenal , and the stars shine brightly here. There’s lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, a grand kitchen, and a cozy living room. I would definitely stay here again.

If you're seeking the ultimate Glastonbury experience, you can't do better than the Pendragon House! I initially planned to stay for one month, but I ended up staying for three. The room is wonderfully lit and spacious. I was initially a bit apprehensive about using the fireplace to warm the room because it was in the middle of winter when I arrived, but wood and kindling were always available, and I was surprised by how easy it was to keep my room warm! Roger swiftly accommodated my every need, and there was a lovely community environment in the house! I cannot recommend this place enough!

Had a fabulous family break, able to accommodate the whole family to be together for New Year for the first time in years! The cottages are perfect for a homely break, cosy and well equipped. The pool and games room are fantastic - better than the photos and able to keep teenagers entertained and adults relaxed! Loved how dog friendly it was which meant they had a great time too! We had the most peaceful, relaxing stay in the most beautiful surroundings. Annie took the kids every morning to feed the chickens and look for eggs. We enjoyed a duck egg one morning for breakfast! the hot tub was a perfect addition to the stunning cottage. everything was spotless and exceeded all expectations. We will be back!

thanks Rebecca, the place was great as was your communication. it was clean and really well located for plenty of days out and activities. it's really well stocked in the kitchen etc. great space. the only thing to be aware of is the driveway has a flood defence dip which was fine for 2/3 of the cars but we couldn't get a Mazda 3 over it even on the shallowest side. but this was fine that we just parked on the road but it might be worth noting if every guest had low cars it might've been a problem!

There was a birthday banner put up with fresh croissants provided. The person centred approach was incredible. Met both hosts who are absolutely lovely. Warm welcoming and lots information provided. Stayed here for my Ma’s 61st birthday and it was a terrific stay for 10 of us plus pup. The host was helpful and very responsive to all questions we had and the information provided made recommendations for our stay. The weather was miserable from time to time but there was plenty to do in the surrounding area, with Clovelly being a highlight. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely apartment. Warm, very comfortable and great to have access to the lovely pool every day and to be so close to the beach! Received several recommendations from the host for pub lunches which was really helpful. Close to several lovely beaches, a wonderful zoo and Dunster Castle.
