This place is a warm, cozy and stylish gem, in the middle of nature. We had a lovely personal welcome by the hosts, plenty of fire wood, never ending views and lots of peace and quiet. For two weeks we enjoyed the snow, ski tracks, winter nights and northern lights! Our three kids spent hours building snow castles and we spent hours reading near the windows. The place has all the amenities you need and good quality furniture, kitchen, beds etc. The nearby mountain school has a friendly owner and rents out various ski equipment and the cabin has some different sleds too. A proper car(winter tires, preferably 4x4) is advised as the road up to the cabin can be tricky in certain weather conditions, but the owners are very proactive in weather and driving advice! All in all a place we love to visit again.

We booked the property in February - for ice fishing and skiing. The place was very clean and cozy, nothing was missing. We found the fireplace particularly cozy in the evening. The house is authentically lovingly decorated in Scandinavian style and has great views of the lake and the mountains from almost every window! Very nice location directly on the lake. Perfect for skiing as several trails are available almost from the front door. The homeowners welcomed us in a very friendly way, gave many valuable tips on activities and were quickly available for questions. We would love to come back!

This was the best little night for us! Unfortunately we had to check in super late bc of a snow storm, but when we made it Torill was waiting for us and made us dinner still!! Which my pregnant self was SO grateful for! The surrounding in the morning were gorgeous the “hobbit” hut was BEYOND adorable and I’m so happy we made it! Would do again for sure! Bathrooms are a shared facility you will need to walk to!

Vidar's house welcomes everyone. It's wonderful to be there for a week. We lacked nothing. The trails were so well tracked from the house and also the driveway to the house was freely milled after two days of snowfall. What a service!

Very cozy, lovingly furnished cottage with a fantastic lake view. The Loipe and the Joker (supermarket) are within walking distance, about 15 minutes If there is more snow, it is shorter to the trail. We were there at the end of the season. Very nice contact with Jorun. She responded within a very short time. We will be happy to come back.

I got lucky - and stayed in Anja’s cabin for 6 weeks during the winter of 2024. First, Gålå has fantastic Nordic skiing. Having skied all over Norway I would put it in the top 5 - and yet it is not well known like Sjusjøen or Beitostølen. The grooming is not quite that good - but they do a good job if there is fresh snow. For good pictures of skiing go to YouTube and search for “Good Dirt Farm Filmwerks” and select the short video called “Ski på Gålå”. (Airbnb does not allow links). Anja’s place sits at the top of the hill and has ENORMOUS views to the West and North. North: across Gubrandsdalen to the high peaks of RONDANE. West: JOTUNHEIMEN! There are a good pair of binoculars there! I skied - and looked out the window - and have never been happier. Anja was a complete pleasure. She responded to questions immediately - and even sent me grooming updates about daily trail conditions. I was only sorry not to have met her. Best Airbnb trip ever!

Stylish log cabin, consistently furnished with everything you need. Very cozy and in a great location. Here you can enjoy a wonderful vacation! Roger was super nice and available at all times. We often come to Espedalsvatnet and can well imagine staying in Roger's log cabin again next time. Hopefully he'll rent it out for a long time!

This is the second time we have borrowed the cabin and would love to come back a third time. Cozy old cabin with a nice view of Rondane and modern amenities in the annex. Incidentally, good charging options for electric cars below the (currently closed) high mountain hotel right next to the cabin.

Very cozy and well-equipped cabin. Really nice and large terrace with a fantastic view and sun all day. 3 generations had a great time and despite very little snow , so the trailers on Gålå did a fantastic job so that there was a ski trip every day. We'd love to come back 😊

We felt very comfortable in Svanhild's apartment. Since we were the only guests in the house at the time, it was absolutely quiet. The apartment was clean and stylishly furnished. The area is ideal for hiking. Wifi, sauna, everything worked great. The kitchen is missing some basic.

An outdoor terrace is showcased with comfortable seating arrangements and a modern fireplace. A table with a potted plant featuring pink flowers adds a touch of color, with a backdrop of snow-capped mountains and clear blue skies.

Christian & Saskia's accommodation is beautiful, cozy and lovingly furnished. The smart home features were very helpful. We immediately felt comfortable and enjoyed the stay. The lake view and snow-capped mountains were fantastic. Kitchen is extremely well equipped. Christian & Saskia were always available and responded in no time.

The stop here passing through and is close to the main road. The host always responded quickly, fixed us a high chair and children's equipment and got into the rain with a hair dryer. The place was spotless and nice with efficient heat pump
