Small cabin in beautiful surroundings, ski in/out

Cabin of about 30 m2, peaceful and undisturbed despite its central location a short distance from Gålå arena. Close by the cabin is a total of about 630Km well-groomed cross-country skiing trails that Gålå offers. You put on the skis from the cabin door whether it is alpine or cross country skiing. If you are going to see the Peer Gynt theater, it is easy to walk the 2.5 km down to the stage on a nice gravel road. The cabin has 2 bedrooms with a total of 5 beds, kitchen/living room solution and bathroom with shower, toilet and servant. Underfloor heating in all rooms. SmartTv and Wi-Fi access.

Water is collected from the spring 100 m away in the summer, or at Kiwi. In winter, water is collected at the convenience store, 5 minutes away by car. Pleasant outdoors. There are 3 fishing lakes nearby. Within walking distance of one. Here's a boat ready to go. Laundry: The cabin must be washed and handed over in the same condition as on arrival. Great hiking opportunities, fishing, canoeing and biking in summer and winter, the area offers fantastic cross-country trails nearby and a great alpine resort. Access to the high mountains Rondane and Jotunheimen is about 1 hour drive. The cottage is a short walk away from Gålå grocery store with year-round operation, and cafe and high mountain hotel close by.

Very happy with your stay. Close to the ski stadium, which was a perfect fit since we were attending the race that weekend. Clean and tidy. Kjersti and Håkon were very easy to communicate with, and responded quickly when we had questions. Can recommend the cabin to others.

The house is absolutely wonderful and incredibly cozy. There’s ample space for everyone to sit comfortably, unlike other places where you find beds for seven but only a small sofa for two. The abundance of indirect lighting throughout the house creates such a warm atmosphere, and the fireplace heats the space quickly while adding to the overall cozy feeling. The view is simply breathtaking! The house was equipped with everything we needed, and the jacuzzi after a long day of hiking was pure bliss. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

Very nice accommodation. It was exactly as described and perfect for the size of our family (2 adults and 2 teenagers). It is on the first (and last) floor of a small building with 4 flats. The (large) living room is joined with the kitchen and gives towards the covered terrace which offers a direct view on the ski slopes . Kitchen is well equipped, with all what you need to cook, and even a waffle machine. There is also an entrance sas with a storage room that is very useful for the skis. We really appreciated the sauna after our ski outings. The cross-country tracks go just by the other side of the road, so we could start our tours from home directly at skis. Access to the lake by foot is easy and fast, which enabled us to see the northern lights! In total, we had a very pleasant stay at Lemonsjøen and we could discover a bit of Norway in winter and explore the northern Jotunheimen with our skis. We warmly recommend this accommodation!

Beautiful lake cabin in Rondane mountains

We had the most amazing time in Jan's & Siri's cabin. The view is absolutely stunning! The cabin is water side and has an unobstructed view of Rondane National Park. You can hike, go on the lake with a boat or do a bike tour. The outdoor options are endless. The cabin itself is freshly renovated to a very high standard. Everything is looks cozy and old, but is brand new. You have floor heating in the bathroom and the small living room. The windows, the floor, the walls, the room, everything is brand new or meticulously renovated. The two living rooms allow you to get some distance from your friends, if you need it, and the couches are cozy enough to take a quick nap… I tried. The Wi-Fi is fast, and you have 5G everywhere, so you can always make your friends jealous on social media. There is a small shop nearby that bakes its own bread and carries the basics. We had the most wonderful time and will certainly be back. Thank you so much for having us!

We had a wonderful time in this place. Home with every comfort, game loft for the kids, lovely kitchen table for games and sauna. From the house nice to walk to lake, but also beautiful walks directly at home or, for example, Beseggen hike a 35-minute drive. We had a great time here!

The cabin is really very cozy, a good place to switch off from everyday life. The best thing is the fireplace with as much wood as you want. Sufficient water was provided in canisters. Only the outside toilet is only for people who can really live simply... I felt very comfortable with my dogs. The directions were a bit confusing but Kari led me to the hut herself. Thanks Kari!
