The place is especially known for a long ski season with good ski slopes, the Peer-gynt game, and many opportunities for biking in the summer.

New cabin built in 2023, with immediate proximity to Gålå Ski Resort, with alpine slopes and cross-country trails. 5-10 min walk to Høyt og Lavt Gålå (climbing park), alpine facilities, cross-country trails right outside the door and 5 min walk to Peer-Gynt play. This cabin is perfect for friends, families with children, and has 2 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms as well as a living room and kitchen. There are 3 double beds, 1 bunk bed and 1 single bed. Outside you have a lovely view from the terrace with a cozy fire pit and seating.

Only a short hour's drive to both Krossbu, Leirdalen and Gjende. Here you can relax after your trip, while enjoying the tranquility and atmosphere of my farm. The place has charm and is homey, cozy and comfortable. Sleeping alcoves in the cabin. Private, enclosed patio. Very suitable for couples and possibly one child on a sofa bed in the living room. Great hiking opportunities, fishing, canoeing and cycling in summer and in winter the area offers fantastic cross-country trails nearby and a great alpine facility. Access to the high mountains Rondane and Jotunheimen is about 1 hour drive. The cabin is a short walk away from Gålå grocery store with year-round operation, and cafe and mountain hotel just nearby.

Hytta ligger på Viken Fjellgård, en time fra Lillehammer, rett ved idylliske Espedalsvatnet, 720 m.o.h, og Langsua Nasjonalpark. Her kan man få stillhet og ro, bade, padle, besøke gruver, eller gå turer. Det er kort til høyfjell med mange turmuligheter, eller å gå ut fra gården langs vannet, på stier i skog og mark. Det er koselig uteplass med bålpanne på brygga ved naustet, og det er badestrand på andre siden. Våre gjester kan benytte våre to båter og kano fritt,og vi låner ut to fiskestenger.

Utsikten er en helt ny hytte med 3 soverom, 2 bad og badstue. Den ligger ved den kjente Peer Gynt veien, mellom Kvitfjell, Skei og Gålå. Gudbrandsdal leirskole, som fungerer som fjellstue i alle ferieperioder, ligger like ved. Da er også kafeen åpen. Kano, sykkel og skileie er mulig. På Fagerhøy er det fantastiske muligheter for et aktivt friluftsliv. Merkede vandre stier og sykkelruter. På vintertid er det oppkjørte skiløyper i alle retninger. Her er du virkelig på fjellet, 1018 moh.
