An hour's drive from Lillehammer, Viken Fjellgård is idyllically located by the lake Espedalsvatnet. With us, our guests can use our two boats, and canoe freely, or enjoy themselves on the pier with swimming, fishing, fire pan and food. You can go on a mountain hike right from the farm, stroll in the forest, or walk on the trails around the water. In late summer and autumn it is nice to pick mushrooms and berries. It is a 5 min drive to the high mountains, and it is only 45 min drive to Jotunheimvegen and Jotunheimen's beautiful surrounding area.

Jotunheimen - 15 minutes from Gjende and Besseggen.

Architect designed cabin in Sjodalen Fjellgrend at the entrance to the Jotunheimen national park. The area is an excellent starting point for day trips to Besseggen, Glittertind, Besshø or Rasletind, among others. There are great hiking areas all year round, whether you like prepared ski tracks or the snow mountain in winter and mountain shoes or bike in the summer. There is an eldorado for fishing and hunting in the autumn and many mountain hikes are clear outside the cabin door on mountain skis or randone in the spring.

Private Mountain Pub is also available on site. Our SagaFjøl is very popular, a taste of the mountain consisting of cheese and sausage. No dog is allowed in these cabins. Bei uns findest du neben Sauna, Hot tub und freistehender Badewanne alles, was dein Herz begehrt! Bettwäsche und Handtücher, Shampoo und Duschgel sind ebenfalls inklusive. Nur das verbrauchte Holz sollte am Ende des Urlaubs wieder aufgefüllt werden.
