An hour's drive from Lillehammer, Viken Fjellgård is idyllically located by the lake Espedalsvatnet, where you can enjoy peace and quiet. Our guests can use our boat and canoe freely, or enjoy the jetty with swimming, fishing and fire pit. You can ride your bikes, go hiking right out of the farm, walk in the woods, or walk on the trails around the water. In late summer and autumn, you can pick mushrooms and berries. It takes 10 minutes to drive from the farm to the high mountains, and from the parking lot about an hour's walk to Langsua National Park.

On the west side, there is a short distance to both alpine and cross country skiing. A short distance to several restaurants and après ski. In the summer we have great hiking opportunities both on foot and by bicycle that can be rented. With a half hour drive you reach several attractions like Hunderfossen in the south and Fron water park in the north. Bjønnlitjønnvegen 45 offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. After a day of activities, you can relax in the spacious kitchen or in the living room, both with spectacular views.

To Sjusjøen cross-country skiing 8 km drive, to Hafjell/Hunderfossen Adventure Park 30 min, and Sjusjøen alpine for families only 10 min. Lillehammer city center 15 min. Evening and Sunday open grocery store Mesnali 3 min. Bed linen and towels can be rented and must be pre-booked - price NOK 250/£20/€25 per set. Feel free to bring your own. Short distance to the Birkebeineren Ski Stadium, which offers an extensive network of hiking trails and cross-country skiing tracks. 15-min drive to Nordseter, about 20 minutes to Sjusjøen, both with excellent trails for hiking and skiing. The ski jumping hill is 3-minute drive from the cabin and offers a great view. 5-min drive to grocery store. For alpine skiing, Hafjell is 25 min away, and Kvitfjell is about 1 hour.
