We had an amazing month at Jennifer's loft. The loft is perfectly equipped for a long stay in Rio and has a prime location in the bohemian neighborhood of Santa Teresa, with incredible views of the entire city center that can also be enjoyed from a lovely garden. Totally recommended!

Our stay was amazing! The house is beautiful! The view too. Very close to Praia da Ferradura (3 minutes walking). The room was spacious and all very clean. The hosts, Cristina and Francis, are friendly, caring and made us comfortable. Everything is perfect! We will come back for sure!!

Marjon has probably the best house in Santa Teresa. It’s not a joke! You’re in the jungle but so close to everything you need. She welcomed me with a big hug and also her dogs and cats. I’m in Rio for a month and even booked to stay there already again! Thank you so much Marjon for the most amazing experience in Rio!

Great reception at the check-in. We found the excellent location, orthopedic mattresses and brand new split in the bedroom were the highlights! Silence and peace, even at the carnival, was what we wanted. Great value. We recommend and hope to come back again.

Great hosts! The place was exactly as described. The location is just a few minutes walk to Arcos do Lapa, some grocery stores and a few amazing restaurants. And there were Monkeys in the garden! Eduardo was a great host from the beginning. He gave excellent recommendations and made us feel like we were home. I highly recommend this place.

Wonderful stay,super well located and super clean. Caroline is super helpful,we were super well received, well located location has everything close by (banks,supermarkets, bakery, large shopping mall 5 minutes away and fast food, subway station a few blocks away that leads to the beach and the city center)without difficulty for locomotion. The house is perfect according to the listing everything well planned and cozy. The place is quite quiet and quite safe. When I needed information, Caroline helped me with everything. No words! Vivi 5 years in the sual area of RJ and this time I wanted something much closer to nature and here I was able to find it. Surreal place, in addition to the owner leaving us mega, super hyper at will. Always available and super solo, with incredible flexibility. Super recommends and we'll go back! I even played with the owner who would rent annually.

I stayed at Antonio’s place for a month and had a wonderful experience. As a female solo traveler, I felt very safe throughout my stay, which was important to me. Getting an Uber to Santa Teresa was rarely an issue from my experience. The apartment has everything you need for a lovely stay, including all the basic appliances for cooking simple meals. It’s comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. Communication was smooth and easy with both Antonio and Romildo (the on-site co-host). Romildo was especially helpful and responsive with any questions or small issues that came up. I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend it to others looking for a safe, convenient, and well-managed place to stay.

This marks my third visit to Julienne's space and there are many reasons for that: a quiet, safe neighborhood that is not touristy but has a local feel. GREAT views. Flexible check in, responsive and pro-active. The space has all the needed amenities. Joao and Julienne helped me to locate tickets for the Flamengo game. I cannot recommend any of their properties enough for the solo traveler or couples looking to see more than just Copa and Ipanema. Santa Teresa is a lively neighborhood on the weekends and the even livelier Lapa is just a 10 minute ride away. The neighborhood has a trolley system being updated to make it even easier to enjoy the community. Book it!

Carol’s place is wonderful, she’s an architect and you can see that in the care taken in designing the wonderful cabin in their beautiful garden. The place is 5 mins walk from Sao Conrado beach, one of the best in Rio. It’s quiet and safe and we had an amazing couple of weeks there. We’ll return soon!!

Marcelo's house is incredible! it has a beautiful view, the vibe you feel from there is awesome, I felt very at ease, he and his wife are very friendly, anything we need helped us, they really are very friendly. The area is very nice and safe. The photos do not do justice to how beautiful the house is, very beautiful, the pool between the palm trees, everything feels heavenly, completely beautiful, very happy and grateful to have been there

This is a very special place to stay! It is easily of our favorite Airbnbs we have ever visited. Marcelo and his family are very friendly people and have a wonderful studio on the grounds of their home. It is set in the back and has an incredible view of the city and surrounding landscape. The patio is very relaxing and serene; we saw multiple monkeys, humming birds, lizards, cats, bats, and even their pet turtles down by the pool. The pool was a lovely bonus and very enjoyable in the warm weather. The studio has a bohemian vibe to it and was very comfortable with the fan / AC option. We occasionally walked to Santa Teresa, which is the most charming hillside neighborhood with tons of artsy shops, restaurants, cafes and bars. Other times you can get an easy Uber ride up there. Flamengo beach is also not very far away and quite beautiful. Overall, we highly recommend this spot!

Maria’s place was exactly what we needed during our 10 day stay in Brazil. It was close to all the nearby beaches and tours we did during our time there. Maria let us check in once we got there which was amazing, we had the opportunity to settle in and enjoy rio the same day we got there. The apartment was perfect for us 3 and even accommodated 2 more people! I definitely recommend Maria’s place if you ever come to Brazil!

I had a wonderful stay at Studio Gávea. The place is clean, comfortable and it is perfectly situated for someone visiting PUC-Rio. It is also walking distance from the shopping center in Gávea, where you can find a lot of nice cafes and restaurants. João Gilson was a fantastic and responsive host who helped me with everything I needed to enjoy my stay. I would certainly return again.

I felt very comfortable in the apartment and had a wonderful time there. The atmosphere is pleasantly familial, the neighborhood friendly, and the location simply ideal. The apartment is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Botafogo, yet only a 15-minute walk from the subway, perfect for exploring Rio from there. The area is also very safe, and I felt completely at ease walking outside alone at night. Marcia and Luiz are incredibly warm and always willing to help. The check-in process was smooth, and they were very flexible with the timing. The apartment is fully equipped, so I was able to prepare more elaborate meals over the holidays, when many of the restaurants were closed. All in all, it was a fantastic experience, and I hope to return someday!
