St Hilary Spacious house/garden (dog friendly)

ClaireRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Really lovely few days stay. Garden was beautiful with lots of activity from rabbits, squirrels, birds, even a hawk! And definitely signs of badgers too. Lovely house, plenty of space to spread out and some nice walks into the village and to the beach. Valerie extremely accommodating and responsive to any questions.

3 bedroom pet friendly cottage

RashmiRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Good location to visit some fun areas around Cornwall. Was a comfortable stay and had everything we needed. Shops were at a close distance so easy to pop out and grab anything we needed! Central heating was very helpful as it was a bit cold visiting in September so that was a great plus. Very helpful that we could bring our dog with us :)

The Reading Room - Sleeps 5 - Unique & by the Sea!

DorianRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The Reading Room was a great place; there were four of us staying there and we really enjoyed it. It was spotlessly clean inside, the beds were comfortable and the three sofas ideal for relaxing on after a day's walking. The house was well stocked with plenty of glassware, cutlery and crockery. It is in a great location, too. Mullion is a nice village, ideal for a walk to Poldhu beach and from there to Mullion Cove and on to Kynance Cove. Also, nearby was a small business centre with the Trenance chocolate factory on the same site as the Mullion glass studio and Gallery Anthony. This is well worth a visit as, of course, is the Lizard Point. The food at the Old Inn was very good and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. It's a great place and I'd certainly like to stay there again.

Little SeaView-3 bed, gated beach, Nr Eden Project

FionaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Accommodation itself was lovely. Open plan area downstairs was amazing with kids. Back garden area was enclosed which was good. Bedrooms all great 2 lovely bathrooms also had a downstairs toilet again v useful. Duporth itself just houses really and the beach. The beach was definitely a big slope to get up and down too. Shingle pebbles not great for sandcastle building but we managed a few! Sea was amazing. Duporth is brilliantly situated for visiting other places such as Charlestown lovely walk and we really enjoyed lost gardens of Heligan which are a 15 min drive. Eden project was also fabulous and nearby on a slightly wet day. Overall loved the stay and accommodation was excellent Ben and Gemma were very approachable and helpful. Would definitely recommend if u don’t mind hills!!

Bed & Breakfast in Truro, Cornwall - free parking

BestRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
It was my first time in Truro and I was really nervous because I had not stayed at an Airbnb where the host lives in. My first encounter with Pam felt awkward cos she had stayed up and waited for me to arrive and I was also exhausted from a very long journey as such I wanted to just shower, eat and sleep but Pam said it’s too late to and she will show me the bathroom tomorrow as such, I did not have a bath that night and had to sleep like that. The next day, pam started to warm up to me. Offered me breakfast. House rules was to leave the house at 10am - 5pm but Pam let me stay extra hours as my appointment was 2pm, Pam offered to walk with me and gave me directions to my appointment. That was a nice gesture. The gesture that got me wowed! Was Pam offering to drop me off early in the morning at the train station so I could meet up with my 7am train! That was a not so convenient time but Pam did that selflessly! Pam is amazing when you get to know her!! She’s a lovely host!!
The exterior of a charming stone house is framed by lush greenery, with large windows allowing natural light to enter. A staircase leads up to the entrance, showcasing a well-maintained garden filled with various plants and flowers.

Large family house in St Agnes, short walk to beach

RhianneRating, 5 stars45 months ago
Matt’s house was lovely, comfortable, very clean and a great location for our first stay in Cornwall. The shower downstairs is a great bonus from Sandy days at the beach and where we all showered to be honest :-) kids loved their rooms too and had no problem sleeping after a full day of fun and the football table got our competitive natures going a few times too! Lots of space throughout the house and good use of a utility room with washing machine and dryer too. Beach is only a short walk away and the little village itself is quaint with great bakery’s (st Agnes bakery and further up round by the Spar a cute place called Martina’s which do amazing french paste ties too on certain days!) you must try the Peterville arms pub/restaurant opposite - staff are soooo friendly and food delicious and plentiful :-) We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to families for a comfortable, clean, home away from home stay. Thank you Matt and family for your little Cornwall gem :-)

Wonderful place to stay to relax and explore the many attractions around the Lizard peninsular. Beautiful spacious home with a dog-friendly garden, comfortable and really well equipped for guests. Diana was a kind and welcoming host with great advice on local activities and a big folder of local info, walks, places to eat etc. We loved Helford, Porthallow, Lizard point and Kynance Cove especially. And the characterful pub at Manaccan. We’d love to stay again. Thank you Diana!

The Boathouse

SarahRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The Boathouse is set in beautiful, peaceful countryside. Sarah and Alex are great hosts and we really appreciated the welcome wine, flowers shortbread and card. It was good to know they were close by if we needed anything but appreciated being able to enjoy a relaxing few days away from everything. Being able to use the field just up the drive from the Boathouse to walk the dog is a real bonus. The house is very well equipped, including the kitchen and the bed is very comfortable. Another time we would pick up a grocery shop on our way through Falmouth so that we could stay local to the Boathouse. The instructions to reach the Boathouse are very clear. The roads do get very narrow as you get closer to the house but once there you are in the middle of delightful countryside with lots of opportunities for great walks nearby.

A perfect haven to explored Falmouth from. We were able to walk to the beach, the docks and the centre of town and return to a quiet, restful place with a beautiful garden and lovely cat! Joan was so helpful and kind and made us feel so welcome. And the shortbread is as good as all the other reviews say it is! I’d love to stay here again.

Character flat in Regency house

GianmariaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
David and Lizzie’s place is a true sanctuary for the soul. I have read in other reviews that the pictures on here do not make it justice and I couldn’t agree more. I loved how peaceful it was, and will certainly miss seeing all the robins, squirrels and other animals pass by the windows in the morning, all on an exploratory mission into the majestic garden. The cottage has quite a history having hosted numerous families and famous painters over the centuries. The garden at the back still has the same layout established in the nineteenth century and it is great to see all the various species of exotic plants grown by the various owners still thriving to this day. The cottage is perfectly located if you are travelling by public transport. This goes not just for train links in and out of Penzance, but also for local buses around the area and the Land’s End Coaster. Thanks a lot for all your tips guys, and for being so humane. Until next time!

The Barn at Collacott - Two Rooms

JennyRating, 5 stars45 months ago
My boyfriend and I visited with two friends, so we booked the entire barn. Helen was there to meet us when we arrived and offered us a tea and coffee with biscuits. We found the barn to be spotlessly clean. The soft furnishings and interior design were lovely quality and comfortable. The beds are lovely and comfortable. The quality and choice of breakfast was amazing and they catered for a vegetarian and gluten free. Helen was a great host who couldn't do enough for us. The grounds are pretty and peaceful with lovely views of the Countryside. The photos dont do this place justice. We really couldnt rate this place highly enough. Thanks Jen

B&B in private annexe in old Mill Nr Porthcurno.

SophieRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Staying at Crean Mill was a joy from start to finish- Grace and Steve strike the perfect balance of the friendly personal touch with giving you space and privacy…. The scones and cream were a delightful extra treat on arrival and the system of leaving the cool box with a delicious breakfast outside the room at a time that suits you works a treat. The room was beautifully furnished with everything you need and the garden is absolutely beautiful. We had a peak at the Shepherds Hut as well, which is also available to rent, and that was just as beautiful and very private. Our visit was based around a trip to the Minack Theatre and it was the perfect location for this, but also a great spot for visiting Penzance and Sennen Cove. Very good local recommendations from Grace and Steve as well. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!!!!

A big thank you to Di and John, a lovely, warm welcome and the cottage was very pretty with all we needed for a lovely stay in North Cornwall. John kindly gave us a lift down into Port Isaac for our meal and picked us up again later in the evening. Lovely and cosy, a wonderful breakfast, beautiful bed, and a wonderful power shower too. Nice and quiet and a great base to see all we wanted to see in Cornwall. Many thanks both for helping us make some lovely memories in your beautiful county..

Twin or double room near Sea Front

JoannaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was perfect for our needs, as we needed somewhere central to stay for one night before catching an early ferry to the Scilly Isles. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was pristine. Everything had been thought of and the rules & information were comprehensive. We had a slight misunderstanding regarding the breakfast, and future guests taking the ferry need to request a very early breakfast, as it needs to be eaten on the premises before departure. However, Teresa did say she could put the breakfast out in the room the night before. And the breakfast looked very nice!
