The loaction was quite good to explore cornwall and nearby areas with good food options at 15 mins drive. The Reading Room - Sleeps 5 - Unique & by the Sea!

BenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Really comfortable and well presented home away from home. Plenty of space for us as a family of four and we loved the large open plan living and dining area. The bedding was SO soft and we slept well! We appreciated thoughtful touches such as kitchen spray, tea towels, salt and pepper (we always forget it!) and a lovely welcome hamper. The weather conspired against us but we made the best of it and helpful information from Jo and Cassie gave us ideas for places to explore. Thank you both! Sarah and Ben

Very quiet and peaceful location, and good for star gazing. Everything provided that I needed for my short stay. Stephen responded very quickly to all communications. I was travelling by motorbike, and the steep drive and vehicle area meant that I needed to park slightly unconventionally, but this was agreed with no problem.

Wonderful place to stay to relax and explore the many attractions around the Lizard peninsular. Beautiful spacious home with a dog-friendly garden, comfortable and really well equipped for guests. Diana was a kind and welcoming host with great advice on local activities and a big folder of local info, walks, places to eat etc. We loved Helford, Porthallow, Lizard point and Kynance Cove especially. And the characterful pub at Manaccan. We’d love to stay again. Thank you Diana!

Excellent little flat fronting the road yards away from the waterfront. We found parking easy in the evening except once on race day. I couldn’t get the Wi-Fi to work as my phone wouldn’t pick up the network. Otherwise all good, nicely decorated and plenty of room for two.

Chapel Amble Lodge

MarilynRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Chapel Amble Lodge was the perfect location for our two day visit to the Royal Cornwall Show. The Lodge was private, clean and well equipped. Being just a three minute walk to a great village pub was a bonus. Chapel Amble would be a great location for exploring the general Wadebridge/Pasdstow/Rock area. Katherine and her co-host Dominic were both very helpful and the instructions for our arrival were spot on. We had a great time and would like to visit again in the future.

Great location, very well presented, comfy bed, great shower, friendly hosts, love free breakfast, easy to find. We recently stayed at this accommodation and overall had a lovely experience. The location is fantastic—super easy to find and close to everything we needed. The property is beautifully presented, with a modern and clean interior. The bed was comfy, and the shower was great—plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We also really enjoyed the free breakfast—such a nice touch to start the day! We especially liked the private garden, it was very nice to sit out in the sunshine for lunch. We had a very pleasant stay and would recommend it for its great location and excellent host hospitality.

Seascape, Mevagissey cliff top B & B apartment.

ChrisRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Absolutely stunning property, Janet and Hugh are the perfect hosts who made our stay memorable, we were celebrating our golden wedding anniversary and they included such lovely little extras which was so thoughtful. The continental breakfast was perfect with a fantastic assortment, the fresh bread each morning was delicious. Mevagissey is a beautiful little town, we walked down most evenings to eat, we enjoyed The Sharksfin. We visited The Lost Gardens of Heligan which was stunning, also took ferry to Fowey which was a lovely day, the walks from the property along the coastal paths are amazing, bit tough at times for us two oldies but we managed. I wouldn't hesitate to book with Janet and Hugh again, we already miss Mevagissey and will return.

The Bothy on the edge of Bodmin Moor

JoelyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I had the most wonderful stay at The Bothy. Libby and Mike are absolutely amazing hosts...the kindest and most thoughtful I've ever experienced when staying away. Libby's breakfasts are incredible...the high quality of produce stands out a mile and all the homemade elements make it feel even more special (definitely try the granola!) I mentioned that I wish I knew the names of all the little birds that can be seen through the window at breakfast and the day after, they'd put a bird book on the breakfast table with the pages marked of the most likely birds I'd see. The garden is beautiful and it was so lovely to sit in and have a cup of tea. The Bothy is super cute and has everything you need for a break away. I was there to explore Cornwall for a few days and so the location was perfect for me, central to lots of the places I wanted to see. I can't recommend this place enough and hope to visit again one day. Thankyou so much for a lovely time x

Betty was the perfect host and was very warm and welcoming. She even sold us the most delicious homemade pasties for our lunch. We stopped over after walking the SWCP. After a day's walking, it was only a mile inland, but it was an uphill climb. We had a wonderful vegan breakfast, with homemade bread, marmalade and granola. I would definitely recommend a stay here.
