CharlotteRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Absolutely stunning yurt and surroundings, rob and Sara were wonderful hosts, we can’t thank you enough for a memorable stay. The yurts were beautifully cosy and they both were on hand for any help or query. They go above and beyond and we can’t wait to come back!

The Boat House Roundhouse, East Thorne, Bude

LouiseRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I recently had the pleasure of staying at East Thorne Cottages with my girlfriend, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality by Paul. The cottage itself was beautifully designed, offering an amazing place to stay. It was the ideal getaway for us, surrounded by stunning countryside views that made our stay even more special. We had incredible service provided by Paul. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, offering great local recommendations and always being available to help with any queries. Paul came around every morning to ensure the hot tub was ready for the day ahead. Providing friendly conversation. His friendly personality truly made us feel at home and added a personal touch to our experience. We met both Sue and Naomi who were both so friendly, polite and welcoming. The location is fantastic, allowing us to explore the beautiful surroundings.

Barn Owl yurt

CraigRating, 5 stars31 months ago
This is a very peaceful, nice place to stay. The showers were so much better then expected (not your normal campsite shower block as the water was piping how and they were clean!). The kitchen in large enough to eat in if you want as there is a dinning table, there are 2 camping gas stoves and plenty of cooking pots and plates etc. The Yurt itself was very clean and comfortable, got a bit cold in the night but warmed up once the fire was lit. We had a lovely time and are considering returning next year for a longer stay.

Belmont Yurt - wonderful country and creek views.

BeverleyRating, 5 stars44 months ago
Belmont Yurt is situated in an idyllic spot, tranquil and beautiful and yet a short walk from the beautiful village of Devoran, where there is a friendly, lively pub serving excellent food. Neil is a welcoming and considerate host, there if you need him but happy to leave you to your own devices. He greeted us and showed us around and, very kindly, left the most delicious selection of Cornish cheeses and supplies for a clotted cream tea, sourdough bread, cereals, milk etc. If you are coming without supplies you will plenty to see you through till the next day. Everywhere was beautifully clean and organised. Neil has thought of everything, right down to scissors. The meadow that the Yurt stands in is beautiful, private and has glorious views over Devoran Creek. We would sit for hours just soaking the wonderful ambience in. There's a barbecue we didn't get to use, but will next time. A firepit. Oh, and the most amazing shower I've ever seen outside of Claridges (seriously). The Yurt itself is so welcoming and cosy. The bed was so comfortable that I just slept round the clock a couple of times. It's completely blacked out at night, which is how my bedroom is at home. It was fantastic. And, finally, to the star of the show! The incredible Pepper!. Not only is she as joyful and friendly as other reviews have mentioned. She is, quite literally, the smartest/most well trained dog I've ever encountered. If you're playing fetch with her she will make you take turns, she's unbelievable really. Anyway, can't thank Belmont Yurt crew enough for such a wonderful few days and I've already submitted a booking request for next year. Thanks Neil & Co!

Cotna Eco-Retreat Yurt, Gilliflower

LizzieRating, 5 stars22 months ago
We had an amazing and peaceful stay at Cotna. Our yurt was in a secluded spot and really spacious and lovely inside. They had thought of most things that we might need like cooker, sink, cooking equipment, sink, washing up liquid etc. We needed our own stuff for the shower which was a lovely outdoor but private shower protected by trees. Sara and others on site were so helpful when we needed last minute supplies like veg for our evening meal. Would highly recommend the food hampers!! Great walk to Portmellon beach took us about 35 mins and was rough underfoot so recommend proper shoes. Short journeys to other great beaches like Gorran Haven and vault beach but beware it is hilly if you’re going on bikes like we did! The only disappointing thing was the mattress.

Lansallos Yurt with wood fired hot tub and sauna

MaxRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Highly recommended. Hosts are exceptionally warm, welcoming and accommodating. Much care and attention is given to keeping the place looking in great order. Facilities are very good, and thoughtfully arranged. The animals are great for the keeping the children entertained, along with a separate barn for them to play in. Good location near to excellent beaches and the towns of Fowey and Looe.

Beautiful Yurt 'Gribben' with Hot Tub and sauna

Laura GraceRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We had a relaxing and peaceful one night stay at Rob and Sara’s Airbnb. Our yurt was comfortable, extremely clean, and beautifully decorated. Possibly the highlight for us was using the wonderful natural hot tub and sauna in the evening. Looking forward to another visit with a view to exploring the nearby coastal paths and Lantic Bay. Can highly recommend staying here.

Stunning Eco-Retreat: Hilltop Mongolian Yurt

PoppyRating, 5 stars7 months ago
From the moment we arrived we were greeted with warmth and Jackie helped us settle into the yurt. The sound bath was an amazing welcome, and our 4 1/2 months old baby absolutely loved it, watching/listening to all the instruments in awe. That experience provided a serene pause for us. Jackie went above and beyond to make sure our first night we were comfortable in the yurt, assisting us with the stove and showing us genuine kindness. The way the yurt is furnished is so cosy and we loved sitting by the stove and all the little lights inside, the wood top space provided a magic atmosphere and we were able to cook our own food with the camp cook kit and fireside bbq. It was a lovely combination of both cooking outside/ enjoying the outdoors and also having the comfort and warmth of an indoor space to rest and sleep in. There is so much to explore in surrounding areas also, and we drove to the lizard area and various beaches during our stay. The whole experience is one for us to treasure

Bramble Lodge

FlorentineRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Staying in the Bramble Lodge was wonderful! Rufus has created a special place with a cosy yurt, a spacious kitchen and great shower. With extremly comfy beds and spotless bedlinen and towels he made it a real luxory-camping-experience. The Lodge is set in the middle of the woods - be prepared to get up a steep gravel road. But it‘s absolutely worth it: You can have absolute peace and quiet, brambles and bats, campfires and breakfasts on the balcony in the sun. Thanks for a good time!

Chestnut Lodge

JohnRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Our second stay at the Yurt as we love the beautiful view and the feeling of peace and quiet. The bed is super comfortable and large. The shower is so good. Despite it being September we sat outside and enjoyed our view until 8 p.m. most evenings (we did need our coats!). Rufus very kindly gave us a lift home in the rain which was definitely above and beyond! Highly recommend this get away from it all holiday!

Bohemian home, Sauna and Yurt in West Cornwall.

ClaireRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We loved our stay at Dee’s place. As others have said it’s definitely not your standard beige holiday let but once we got settled in we really enjoyed the space. The views are amazing- one morning we woke up and everything was pink from a beautiful sunrise. The beds are very cosy, there is parking right outside and yes, there is a shower even the you can’t see it in the pics. Study the photos carefully so that you know what you’re getting (changes of level might not suit everyone) and can see Dee’s unique eclectic style and you won’t be disappointed. Dee was away when we were there at new year but her comms from afar were warm and friendly and she made sure we were well looked after in her absence. Didn’t try the sauna due to dodgy weather but it looked fun.

Skylark yurt

MichelleRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Had a wonderful stay in one of the yurts, we are usually arguing over putting the tent up and down, so a calm and relaxing start and end to our holiday which was priceless to us! Penny was so helpful and friendly and lovely to have the food hut on site for breakfast, and even curry night on the Friday which was delicious! All in all a great place to stay with friendly people and good facilities! Kitchen well equipped and a nice way to meet our fellow glampers. Weather wasn’t as nice as we hoped but it didn’t dampen our spirits as the yurt was large and comfortable. Loved it

Ebb Roundhouse, East Thorne, Nr Bude

TashingaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Stayed 3 nights over the weekend, and enjoyed the breathtaking views from surrounding beaches and the countryside. Also loved coming back to the hot tub, was definitely soothing. The property is as described if anything the pictures don’t do it enough justice. Lovely friendly hosts, and some great laundry facilities as well. Overall 10/10 and the perfect getaway if you’re looking to move away from the 9-5 life and revive your mind. Will definitely be coming back again.

Had an amazing stay in the yurt for my fiancés birthday and the children absolutely loved it, it had all you needed for children. Plus a short drive to the beach. The yurt was lovely and had such a beautiful outside space and wonderful private bathroom and kitchen set up. Andrew went above and Beyond and for my partners birthday decor for our stay. We arrived super late and he waited up for us to arrive and was extremely helpful. We will be coming back 100%

Wanson Nomadic Yurt

IanRating, 5 stars33 months ago
We loved everything about Atlantic Horizons. From the friendly greeting by Alex on our arrival to the stunning scenery with sunsets over the Atlantic Ocean each evening during our 3 night stay. It’s location is perfect for trips to Clovelly, Port Isaac, Tintegal, Boscastle, and of course Bude which was only 15-20 mins drive. This was the first time we ever experienced glamping and it’s without a doubt going to be a tough one to beat! We stayed in the Wanson Yurt which was comfortable, clean and spacious. The views from the bed were out of this world. We felt so relaxed staying here and the eco friendly aspects of the site are amazing! It was quiet even though the site was almost fully occupied and everyone respected each other’s privacy. There was a real sense of calm and tranquility which we thoroughly enjoyed as we needed this break to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Sipping local ciders and toasting marshmallows whilst watching the sun setting was a dream! We brought our dog with us and he equally enjoyed the freedom of the large dog run which is a lovely addition to the camp site. We even extended our stay by an extra night, that’s how amazing this place is!! Overall, a truly wonderful experience and we will definitely return

Glamping Yurts in Devon

SallyRating, 5 stars7 months ago
This was our second stay in the yurts and we had an amazing time again. The updates to the site were really appreciated (wooden doors on the yurts made the sleeping areas warmer over night and the gas powered fridge made it easier to store food and drink). There was always instant hot water in the bathroom. The site is peaceful and there is a lot of space for children and dogs to have fun. Thank you again for a lovely weekend.
