Beach house vacation rentals in Cornwall

We loved staying at the Rocket House with our little dog. It felt like a home away from home, comfortable, spacious, and light, and I spent many hours sitting watching and listening to the sea from the big front window. It was so relaxing being so close to the beaches and sea, and being able to pop out and sit by the harbour. Portwrinkle was a lovely place, very friendly, and on the SW coast path so you could walk easily, and close to Crafthole for dinner and the community shop (an uphill walk but then down on the way back!). We visited Cawsand and Kingsand, Looe, Polperro, Antony house, Wilcove, Mount Edgcumbe, all nearby and beautiful. We will come back and stay again because I loved the home itself, the location, and the peace of the view and sea. Doing my yoga practice with the window open and the sound of the sea was wonderful. I didn't want to leave but I came home feeling rested and happy. Thank you so much.

Fantastic place to stay. We came as family with a toddler as well grandparents and both families dogs and it was perfect for us. Easy to get to the beach and costal path. Stunning views. Great location for seeing things - loved getting the train from st. Erth to st. ives. The house itself was super practical. Loved the outside shower and cleaning facilities for us and the dogs after getting sandy on the beach. Lots of books that our toddler loved reading and playing with the toys. Just great. Richard was an amazing host and really accommodating to our needs. A very special holiday.

This place is a real gem and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for beautiful views, peace and serenity. It's within a short walk of amazing beaches and close to all local amenities that you need. St. Ives is easily accessible and we used it as a base for many other Cornish locations - Penzance, Land's End and Falmouth were an easy drive away. The property itself, aside from being in a great location, was very well equipped, spotlessly clean and had all amenities that were advertised and the pictures in the listing were accurate and recent. Karen was a great host, very responsive and left a number of goodies in the kitchen to welcome us, which was an extra special touch that we didn't expect. We stayed for 7 nights and could easily have stayed longer.

This home is amazing, and pictures do not do it justice. It is very clean and very, very comfortable, right in the heart of the sweetest Cornwall village, Cawsand Beach. The views….. takes your breath away. Seriously. The sound and smell of the ocean are healing, and to sit there and watch the natural beauty is a big part of the experience. Once you’re there, you only have to step outside the door to be on the path to all the pubs, shops and walking paths around the area. Amanda was an excellent host and we appreciated every kindness she extended to our family. This vacation in this location will be hard to beat. We left with heavy hearts as the locals embraced us with the same amazing kindness. I would recommend this experience to anyone that appreciates an excellent home in the middle of a magical part of the world—a step back in time and a chance to reset in a stunning location. As a family of 4 the property was ideal, it had all the amenities required for our 4 day stay. The property is stunning, so tastefully furnished and decorated, it is in a prime location with stunning sea views. Its location is great for strolling into Penzance and a short car journey to local sites, such as the Minack theatre, which is well worth a visit as well as St Ives. We were luckily enough to meet Lenn during our stay, he knows the area well and gave some great suggestions as well as being a great host, we found the property easily and followed Lenn’s instructions to a tee, we would recommend Lenn and Gord’s beautiful property, and was very sad to leave it to come home, a stunning find x

A gorgeous house within walking distance of Hayle beach. The house was brilliantly appointed and was very comfortable. Gorgeous views over the estuary enhanced our stay. Annie was a great host - very responsive and informative.

Beautiful place! Would 100% stay again! We requested decorations to be put up for arrival as it was my mams 50th birthday. We sent decorations but they weren’t put up when we arrived. We spoke with Malcolm about this and he came straight over the next morning to do this while we were out and left some beautiful cupcakes, helped us rectify the heating as it was very hot, and was available at all times when we needed! Beautiful place! Very local to lots of shops and very close to the train station: beautiful views!

Beautiful place for a family weekend. Rachael was very clear with her instructions. The jacuzzi was fantastic! Would definitely recommend for family getaway!

Absolutely stunning location! The views are outstanding and the private access direct to the estuary/beach is great. The garden is steep but that’s to be expected, we made great use of the pool and hot tub and it was an added bonus that we could use the paddle boards! The house its self is beautiful and spotlessly clean. A few things do need sorting though, there was the odd missing door handle, bifold doors are hard to use and the master bathroom door didn’t close. However these didn’t bother us at all as everything else was perfect. Easy walking distance to Crantock and Fistral beaches, which were both beautiful. We would 100% book again! The house was a lovely, quiet, comfortable, place for my whole family to stay for a long weekend. Well situated and equipped for all of us and contributed to a very pleasant trip.

We’re so glad we chose to stay at Halula Beach House for my hen do weekend, it was the perfect pad! Pool, hot tub, silent disco, huge table we could all sit round… and just a few minutes walk to the gorgeous beach. Would highly recommend it!

We enjoyed a welcome retreat away in Talland Bay, it was perfect for lots of walking and then soaking in the hot tub with beautiful sea views. We would definitely go back.

We loved our family stay at William’s place! It was loaded with all the amenities that we needed. The kitchen was very well stocked. The heated pool was a great addition when the ocean was cold. The location was amazing…walk into town or take the Ferry across to Padstow for lots of great shopping and eateries. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful time at Jenny’s place. The location of the house is lovely, and the balcony really allows you to make the most of the beautiful views. The space itself is very homely, with a good amount of space. We would highly recommend staying with Jenny!

We’ve had a gorgeous stay at Sunkeeper and like everyone else the photos don’t do it justice! It’s absolutely spotless, well equipped with some lovely homely touches. Highly recommended the gorgeous tapas restaurant a short walk away - beautiful food and excellent cocktails. Ashley and Charlotte were superb hosts too.

We loved this beautiful Croft house with beautiful views, amazing terrace and gardens on the edge of the sea. We could go to the sea from the house however it was a little of a climb on massive rocks which wasn’t suitable for children but the beach was accessible via stairs just short walk away. The kitchen was our favourite as it has everything we possibly needed! Would definitely recommend to stay as it was a truly magnificent house!

Corri’s cottage is fabulous, beautifully decorated with comfortable sofas and beds. Kitchen was kitted out with everything we needed to cook on the few evenings we didn’t eat out. Lovely garden with sofas/chairs to lounge on which we did get to enjoy despite some mixed weather. Mousehole is a perfect place to set off on some stunning costal walks which is what we spent our week doing. We also enjoyed dinner at 2 Fore Street, Mackerel Sky & the Tolcarne Inn.

What an amazing find! Utterly private and feels very rural. Even though the lovely village of St Agnes and glorious beaches and towns are only a short distance away! Very cosy and eclectic home with some delicious treats and a bottle of fizz left by Kate and Simon. If you do stay, you HAVE TO use Sunny Spice, whether it’s for takeaway or eat in. Best South Indian food and yummy dosas I’ve had outside of London or Kerala! Thank you for making us so welcome and for the brilliant recommendations of places to go and local eateries.

A beautiful place with stunning a sea view. Felt like home away from home. Super clean place with stylish furniture and fresh linen and towels. Jennifer the host was so friendly and helpful and went out of her way to answer any questions asap. We already have recommended this place to our friends and will be staying there again when we come back to Cornwall. If we could give it six stars we would.

Really enjoyed our stay, we felt right at home and it also felt so private. Just what we needed for our break away! Great amenities and the local area was gorgeous, we spent the week doing some gorgeous coastal walks and relaxing! Highly recommend!

My husband, myself and our dog had a fantastic holiday staying at Thimble Cottage. The cottage is beautiful with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. Its location is perfect for local walks and exploring and there is a lovely pub two doors down with extremely friendly staff and good food. Places like St Ives were just a short drive away. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring such a beautiful part of Cornwall and would happily stay here again.

Lovely, relaxing stay in a beautiful, comfortable house. Fantastic views over the estuary, which we enjoyed whilst having breakfast on the balcony. As expected for hilly Fowey, the walk back up from town is fairly steep, but still doable for the oldest member of our party. Although there is no parking outside the house, you can park to unload and load, then park in the car park, a short walk up the hill. It's cheaper to pay for the week's parking, rather than pay each day. In all a very enjoyable stay and we'd be delighted to re-visit if we didn't live so far away (in Scotland)
