Monthly Rentals in New Virginia

Our stay at this cottage was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. The setting was beautiful and tranquil, the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the highlights for us was the thoughtful touch of providing games—we had a blast playing Pictionary on the whiteboard, which led to so much laughter and fun. The hot tub was an absolute dream, allowing us to unwind under the stars in complete serenity. But what truly made this stay special was the hosts’ kindness in moving the chickens (“the girls”) closer to the Airbnb just for me! Visiting them each day was such a joy, and it added an extra charm to an already wonderful getaway. Casey was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, making sure we had everything we needed and answering any questions right away. My aunt and I stayed 5 nights and felt comfortable with the accommodations. Crouse Cafe across the street, Charlottle’s, the public library, etc. shopping nearby. We enjoyed our time together. Perfect place for 2 people!

Brenda and Mike are lovely hosts. It’s a really cute basement flat with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Although it’s located in a residential neighborhood, it’s easy to get around and there is plenty to do in the Des Moines area. There’s a nice park less than a block away. No complaints at all and looking forward to staying there again!
