Kid-friendly vacation rentals in New Castle County

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. Susan and Emily were fantastic hosts. Excellent response time, and provided great information and recommendations. Our pup loved the fenced yard and all of the hiking and walking areas nearby. We highly recommend the cottage, especially for those with furry friends, and look forward to returning sometime.

Recently traveled to Wilmington for a family party. Tim was very responsive to all of my questions including check in, local area, proximity to my event, and parking. The house is very well appointed and the area is very walkable. Will definitely stay here again.

Alicia is a an absolutely wonderful host! When I needed a last minute change of location and over a holiday she was extremely helpful in accommodating me last minute and made what could have been a horrible trip into a wonderful visit with family. I can’t say enough good things. House was clean, comfortable and very quiet and easy to commute into town. Would definitely recommend!

Great place to stay! Location was great and in a safe neighborhood. Michael was very helpful and responsive to any questions, including before we booked the stay. The breakfast fixings and bottle of wine provided was a great perk. I would highly recommend staying here if you’re going to the Wilmington area!

This was a wonderful place for my family (one child only with us) to stay in Wilmington, Delaware. It was an easy driving distance from highways as well as back roads to get to pretty much 3 states in no time at all. We loved the neighborhood (though watch those speed bumps), and we felt safe in the area. The couches were comfortable and everything we needed was in the clean kitchen. If we have a need to come out here again, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay with Stacy!

I cannot recommend Regina and her place enough! She was incredibly proactive before and during my stay, often reaching out to ensure everything was set. Her kindness and friendliness made me feel right at home, and she went above and beyond to make sure I had a fantastic experience. The space itself was great! It was cozy and exactly as described. It’s clear that she cares about her guests and takes pride in creating a wonderful stay.

This apartment was great for a Group of 4 ladies attending a Myofascial Release seminar. It was close to our class location and the kitchen was helpful and well stocked. I would definitely stay here again.

This place is basic but very recently renovated and comfortable. The location is very convenient, a block or so off a major street that's a good start for going anywhere. (I'll put in a plug for the Delaware Art Museum, only a few minutes away and one of our favorite places in Wilmington.) We never met our host, Johnny, personally, but he was very responsive via the Airbnb messaging service; he also works closely with Cesar, who works in the restaurant on the ground floor, to handle quick things on site. Both are friendly and helpful. We were highly satisfied and would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for one month. It was comfortable and clean. The home is in a quiet neighborhood, directly across the street from a park that has a great, paved walking trail.

Great place with central location to everything we wanted to do in New Castle! Lovely comfortable space, comfortable bed and everything in the kitchen and bathroom we needed. Love the front porch!!

Really nice place to stay. Even with her family being upstairs it didn’t bother us. The place was great and put together nicely.

I was traveling alone and I felt very safe. Great restaurants just across the streets. Everything was communicated before check-in; so I had no reason to contact host. Relaxing 4 days

The apartment was perfect, quiet and peaceful with plenty of space to do my work and also relax. A great neighborhood with plenty of walkable restaurants and an Acme grocery store.

Marc place was a little piece of paradise looking over a wide vista of trees and distant beautiful architecture ….. street parking was no problem and it was close to everywhere it seemed! It was quiet and secluded and cosy warm ☺️

Cherrys place was beautiful. It felt just like we were at home and is definitely somewhere we would visit again . Thank you for such a great experience . Happy holidays !

Pratt's place was great and looked just like the pictures. Very clean and confortable and felt just like home. Fresh flowers left on the dining table made us feel welcome. It was a nice touch. Supermarket and plenty of eateries near by and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The neighbors were extremely friendly and we would definitely visit again!

Responsive host, place was as advertised and very clean. Plenty of amenities.

We had a wonderful stay. Any minor issues were addressed and corrected immediately. Perfect location if you need to be in both Newark and Wilmington.
