Chalet vacation rentals in Nevada County

We had a wonderful stay. Very clean and exactly as described. The neighborhood is beautiful and we enjoyed our time. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area.

Great mountain cabin. The kitchen was very well stocked with any conceivable implant and more than enough spices.

The home is lovely and the private beach is amazing. It’s 15 minutes from Tahoe City so it’s not far from shops and restaurants.

We had a nice Christmas getaway at Richard’s place. The house is very spacious and has all amenities we need. Kids definitely love the little den which they climbed up and down endlessly everyday for fun. One thing to notice though is that the driveway is pretty steep and can be icy after snowfall. Just be prepared to shovel away the ice or park the car at the parking space at the entrance of the driveway, which will save some effort of ice / snow cleaning.

The place is excellent and definitely deserves 5 stars. Very quiet and perfect to relax, very comfortable with everything available and close.

Beautiful home in Tahoe Donner. Home was perfect for our large family. Bunk room is perfect for the kids and pilot space for the adults. Open kitchen, living area was perfect for everyone to spend time together. Jason was a great host. Would definitely stay there again.

Allie is such a kind and welcoming host. From the carefully decorated interiors to the comfy quarters everything was perfect. We had a lovely time and enjoyed a quiet and peaceful stay surrounded by a picturesque winter wonderland. And the neighbors walking their dogs were just as kind and lovely. Excellent 5 stars House was described perfectly. Spacious bedrooms, with tons of extra floor space for dog beds or air mattresses. Beds and pillows are super comfortable- good quality linens. Surrounded by beautiful trees and forest critters down a quiet court. Just so darn relaxing we didn’t want to leave.

Colin’s home was very cozy! It had a great cabin vibe - the fireplace and hot tub were a nice bonus. Very close to town, but still far enough to be in a quiet neighborhood. Accommodated our large group with ease. Would definitely stay again!

Chalet Conifer was a wonderful place to call home during our visit to Tahoe. Being on the Northstar property was so convenient and Peter, our host, made our stay so easy with his detailed directions and great recommendations! We loved the log cabin feel of the home, which was very accurately described both in words and through pictures. Top notch everything! I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Tahoe!

This house was great for a group. We went with parents and kids, and it was perfect. Hot tub was great, kitchen was fully stocked with lots of options, even had real knives that actually cut!! Plus all the sinks had real hand soap not those little cheap hotel soaps, everything was very thought out for the creature comforts. Only thing is, bring beach chairs & beach towels if you’re heading to the beach. And maybe your own pillow if you’re like me. But they had lots of extra blankets, pillows, and even roll away beds for the kids. Lastly, we stayed in summer, so didn’t matter as much, but they had the dual temp thermostat for upstairs downstairs temp differential which would be crucial in winter! And you can walk to Tahoe House Bakery!! Yum! Thanks Connie for an amazing weekend!

Our family had a great time here. The basement ADU was perfect for visitors. The laundry room doubled as a quiet home office. We really enjoyed access to the Tahoe-Donner trail system right out the back door.

Great spot to stay. Would absolutely return again in the future.

We had a last minute cancellation at an another cabin rental we had booked - and Matthew and Amanda were able to check us in on the afternoon we needed a place to stay for 4 nights. They saved our vacation plans. This cabin turned out to be one of the best Tahoe getaways we have had. Highly recommended for all seasons! Pet friendly / our two small terriers enjoyed their visit. Great cabin in quiet neighborhood near amenities like the beach and restaurants and of course all the beauty of Tahoe. We were there during a big snow storm and the roads and driveway were cleared in a timely manner. No issues getting in or out of neighborhood. We walked to the public beach area located just down the road. The kitchen had all the stuff you need to make meals. The layout of the place allows for different gathering places to relax.
