Chalet vacation rentals in Nevada County

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! The layout was absolutely perfect—spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. It truly felt like a home away from home. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed (and more), which made cooking super easy and enjoyable. The backyard was a dream—beautifully maintained with plenty of space for group hangouts, and the hot tub was a huge plus after a long day. Whether we were relaxing inside or spending time outdoors, there was more than enough room for everyone. Can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a cozy yet functional getaway. Hope to visit again soon - either in fall/winter!

Awesome place! Love the huge and clear back deck, the only neighbors around aren’t even “seeable”. Secluded, spacious, ample dishes and supplies for cooking, and just a beautiful house. I have a feeling chris, the owner, is a gamer!

This cabin was so lovely. The common space is very cozy and the central heating/AC works perfectly. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need to cook a dinner or prep any other food (including a spice cabinet!). There are plenty of towels and toiletries. Hot tub is amazing. Instructions were super clear and turn down is reasonable for a cabin stay. Richard was responsive to all my questions - would definitely stay here again next time we come up this way.

Patty's place felt like staying at family's cabin. The kitchen had all the amenities and then some. The bunks are a little high without a ladder, so we pulled one to the ground, but probably wouldn't work unless you're agile giants. I'm 6'1" and it would have been a struggle to get in and out. We loved that it stayed warm without using the fireplace and that there's a gate at the stairs; both making it very safe for little guests.

Overall great stay , very responsive host . Was flexible on check out, as our group had some younger kids . Property matched the description. We had a lovely time .

We had a great stay! The home was just as beautiful as the photos showed- clean, cozy, and incredibly comfortable. It was the perfect place for a family getaway, with everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time in the mountains. The host was super responsive and helpful throughout the whole trip, which made everything run smoothly. You can tell they take pride in the space, and it really shows. Now, full disclosure there were a few very enthusiastic carpenter ants hanging out in the downstairs bathroom, But hey, you're in the great outdoors- nature likes to crash the party every now and then! Otherwise everything was very clean and taken care of. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this spot. It’s a beautiful place, a great value, and definitely worth it for a family vacation. We’d stay here again!

We had an amazing stay here. The place is stunning and spacious (close to downtown Truckee). Michelle was so kind and helpful throughout our trip. She quickly answered any questions we had and was incredibly accommodating. Would love to come back in the future!

Great stay! Amazing view and this Airbnb had everything we need and more. The bathrooms were spotless (and had bidets!) Our group also loved the large dining table so our whole group could eat together, which was hard to find at other places. Definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay. Very clean and exactly as described. The neighborhood is beautiful and we enjoyed our time. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area.

Vince is the best host! This was our second time staying at this beautiful property and everything this stay was as nice as the last time we stayed. Vince made sure we had everything we needed, he was flexible with our arrival and departure times (given the weather) and he responded to questions immediately. We would recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a wonderful stay in the Tahoe/Homewood/Truckee area.

Excellent 5 stars House was described perfectly. Spacious bedrooms, with tons of extra floor space for dog beds or air mattresses. Beds and pillows are super comfortable- good quality linens. Surrounded by beautiful trees and forest critters down a quiet court. Just so darn relaxing we didn’t want to leave.

This house was great for a group. We went with parents and kids, and it was perfect. Hot tub was great, kitchen was fully stocked with lots of options, even had real knives that actually cut!! Plus all the sinks had real hand soap not those little cheap hotel soaps, everything was very thought out for the creature comforts. Only thing is, bring beach chairs & beach towels if you’re heading to the beach. And maybe your own pillow if you’re like me. But they had lots of extra blankets, pillows, and even roll away beds for the kids. Lastly, we stayed in summer, so didn’t matter as much, but they had the dual temp thermostat for upstairs downstairs temp differential which would be crucial in winter! And you can walk to Tahoe House Bakery!! Yum! Thanks Connie for an amazing weekend!

Our family had a great time here. The basement ADU was perfect for visitors. The laundry room doubled as a quiet home office. We really enjoyed access to the Tahoe-Donner trail system right out the back door.

We had a last minute Airbnb cancellation from a smaller cottage and this chalet saved our vacation. We were only three, plus a dog and enjoyed our stay in Tahoe. The kitchen was well stocked with oil and vinegar and even coffee beans. The chalet is clean, very well decorated (loved the live edge coffee tables) and looks like pictures. Our dog enjoyed sniffing in the yard (unfenced). Highly recommend for group of friends with kids.
