Awesome little cabins on the river. Great fishing in the morning with a perfect spot on the bear river. Cabins were perfectly clean and the beds are super comfortable. Grill worked well and they supplied pots and pans. You definitely do need a 4x4/AWD to get down next to the cabins. RAV4 with AWD made it up and down fine. Awesome affordable getaway. 10/10 would recommend.

This place is awesome. Easy walk to a private beach with huge pier on the lake. Tahoe House is an amazing cafe, and a 3 minute walk. The house was clean, back yard was so awesome for the dogs, and the hot tub well kept. Kitchen has everything you need, including a nice espresso machine for homemade lattes to enjoy on the deck. Cant recommend this place enough.

This property is a literal slice of heaven. It's so peaceful and magical and feels worlds away when only being a few minutes to town. The house was one of the most comfortable airbnbs we have stayed in – and we have stayed in many! Our whole family enjoyed it. Great for adults, kids and lots of room for your dog run and explore. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Husband and I stayed at Dawns place for our anniversary. Our stay was peaceful and private. The view was spectacular. Waking up to that view everyday was like a scene out of a movie. The Moon at night was perfect as well. The pictures on the description was exactly what it was like! Thank you Dawn for opening your home to us!

We chose this as a weekend getaway and it did not disappoint. If you enjoy privacy and your own private river oasis, you will absolutely love this site. The river was clean, warm and full of fish. Pet friendly. The tent was not what I expected but because it was only 2 of us and our 3 dogs, there were plenty room. There is a propane grill (with provided gas) and plenty of seating throughout. The host even has 4 kayaks available for use. The host met us at the site and was extremely friendly and welcoming. My only "complaint" would be how scary it was when leaving the site if you do not have a 4x4 vehicle. This is highly recommended (as posted) if you plan to drive down to the site, but the host does have parking for cars that are not. Just be prepared to walk (not long). It does have 2 port-a-potties with quality toilet paper. Some tips of you choose to stay: bring your own water (no fresh water) and a canopy. Overall, the stay was a great escape from city life. Highly recommended.

Great location/setting on the water. Nice grassy area w/seating above the beach. Its an easy property to immediately feel comfortable in: Kitchen was straight forward to work in and the dinning and living rooms were spacious & relaxed w/nice views. Heater worked well and quietly. Bedrooms were comfortable and quiet. 5 minutes to Tahoe City (south) and 5 minutes to Cornelian Bay - lots of beaches and parks near by.

This was a great place. I stayed here for 4 nights and was just at peace with the endless view of pine trees in the backyard and lake view from the road ahead by the front of the house. Close to lake, ski/board and groceries and restaurents. 10/10 recommend to anyone. Our dog loved it too!

Clean and comfy. Looks exactly like the photos. Easy to check-in and great location. Some spiders running around, but overall worth every penny.

This place did not have any reviews so didn’t know what to expect but the management company had excellent 5 star reviews with their other properties so we decided to give it a shot. Communication was excellent and thorough including detailed instructions to get there. Host readily available despite it being Xmas week, we even had treats for us! Great location, easy parking. Place was perfect for our family. It’s a small condo but had all we needed. Was squeaky clean w/ kitchen appliances and everything provided pretty much new. Host thought of it all - so great to arrive and have all the little amenities that make life so much easier (plenty of towels, soaps for bath and kitchen, lots of toiletries (including shampoo/conditioner/lotion, floss picks, cotton swabs). Lots of places don’t include these ‘perishables’ and we hate bringing them. Home was warm and cozy. We cooked breakfast/dinner 3/4 days at the home. Safeway is less than 5 min away. We skied nearby at Diamond Peak

Very happy with our decision to stay at Linda’s place. Conveniently located, beautiful views, comfortable. We were a family with two elementary kids so it was a bit cramped but totally doable. I probably wouldn’t want to stay there as a family of 4 if the weather was too cold to use the balcony, as the balcony adds significant space. We loved spending time on the balcony but also on the grounds… there are nice benches overlooking the lake and a pier that our kids loved. Thanks Linda for sharing your lovely studio with us!

Right on the lake with a private beach. Beautiful location. Love this place for a low key getaway. Clean unit and very responsive host.

Amazing complex with a private dock, fire pit, pool and hot tub, private little beach. All was amazing, easy to walk to restaurants and overall great stay. Thank you for a wonderful stay and great communication.

Great townhouse at the Tahoe Lake front with amazing view. It was a bit tricky to find at first after parking. Very well stocked house. Kitchen is so nice that it felt like at home. The only thing is the knifes are too dull (even after I tried to sharpen them) :) Safeway and plenty restaurants nearby. It was very easy to figure out what to eat. Jimmy was very responsive, when we accidentally locked outs of the first floor bathroom he came by in 5 minutes with several keys to open it.

The views were breathtaking! The house was gorgeous. Lots of space and it felt like home. It was a quick walk to the lake, kids jumped right in. We will definitely be back.

Donner Lake is a gem, and the access, views, and ammenities in this spot couldnt be better. We swam, paddle boarded, and rented a pontoon boat right on site. Great, newly done kitchen. And did I mention the VIEWS?

Communication from Laura was excellent. The history of the cabin and the cabin is beyond beautiful. The views are stunning. Private beach is perfect. We cannot thank her enough for sharing her family treasure with the world.

This was our second stay at Leslie's beautiful home and there are many reasons we returned. The location is perfect--easy to get to, peaceful setting, gorgeous view of the lake, and close to the ski slopes and restaurants and shops in Truckee. And the home is so welcoming and comfortable. It's like staying at a friend's home. We cook a lot and the kitchen is so well stocked which is a real plus. The beds are comfortable and there are two full baths which is a bonus. Perfect for our family of four. Finally, Leslie is such a terrific host. She is great with communication and let us know when the home was ready for an early check-in--so awesome. She is super responsive. And she left a nice welcome note and tasty treats. A real personal touch. It looks like this will be our annual ski week retreat! (We'll need to visit in the summer, too.)

Great location and great views from the unit. Private access to the beach was awesome (no need to worry about parking at King's Beach).

Very clean condo in a small upscale complex on the beach. This unit is a garden unit closer to North lake Blvd than to the beach but it’s very close. We are a family of four who spent a full week together and everything was very pleasant. We got lots of use of the full kitchen, gas bbq in the complex, outdoor table w six chairs on a lawn next to the beach, free laundry, comfortable beds and living room pullout. This condo was a good size for my husband and I with our 2 young adult children but would be a tight fit for more than 4 adults. Pros- clean, convenient location (walk to everything in Kings Beach), well stocked kitchen, laundry in complex, nice, reasonable price. Cons- road noise, lots of dogs at this part of the beach, no chaise lounges available for garden units, no chests of drawers in the bedrooms to store clothes.

This was an amazing place to stay at, had a lot of fun for the short amount of time we stayed. It was nice and peaceful and would definitely love to come back again.
