Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Negombo

My family and I stayed in Nicola’s Airbnb last week. The location was very easy to find, and the security is very good. Upon arrival, Mr. Roshan was ready to receive us and helped us with our bags. He is extremely helpful, showed us around the apartment and even gave clear instructions on how to use appliances available if needed. Mr. Roshan is quick to reply to queries and tend to concerns. The airbnb itself was spotless, has all the amenities included in the listing, including essentials, washer with dryer, and a kitchen that’s fully equipped. The rooms are spacious, all the rooms are equipped with AC. There’s a huge pool/gym located on the 6th floor, and a supermarket on the 5th floor. It is so children friendly, my little brother did not want to leave. The location is excellent, there’s multiple supermarkets/ restaurants and shopping malls nearby. My family loved this place so much, we’re sure to stay here if available when we come back to Sri Lanka again! Thank you, Nicola! 😄

Extremely spacious apartment. Well stocked kitchen. Location very central for a 15min tuk tuk to most places. A full gym with rowing machine, tread mill and weights. Fantastic 25min pool. Great views to the east across the Royal Golf Course (with trains through the fairway). Mini mart on the complex.

Rizans place at tri zen provides a great stay for short n long periods. It’s well kept and he is always available to assist. Location is great and you have the super market and some good restaurants nearby, just across the road. I would not look around for another place to stay next time while in Cbo.

I was looking for hassle free, quiet and peaceful place to get my planned work done in the nearby cities. Easy access to transport links. It was a perfect fit for my purpose. Will definitely revisit the place with my family on my next holiday.

Silmiya's place was exactly as described. It was central to many places in Colombo. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless. Silmiya was always so helpful and friendly. Highly recommend her place to anyone visiting Colombo!

We will definitely stay with Shyamala again. We recommend her place to anyone who travels to Colombo. It’s very convenient, just 5 minutes walk to a fantastic shopping centre that has everything you need. The apartment is fully furnished and plenty of room. Courtesy ride to and from shops, gym or join several fitness classes as I did at the club house. Shyamala was very responsive to any of our messages no matter the time of the day and she always checked up on us if we were ok. It my first trip to Colombo but we pick the right place to stayed that felt like home. Thank you for having us and hope to stay with you sometime in the near future.

I stayed at Sumudu's place with my mother for nearly 4 weeks. we felt right at home. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The complex was secure and had gym and a pool. Sumudu is such a responsive and helpful host. Event hough the apartment complex was right next to a busy street, the apartment was very quiet. There are lot of supermartkets and restaurants nearby. I would highly recommend Sumudu's place to anyone who is looking for a place near Colombo.

Thilak's apartment is highly recommended. Great place for short or long stays. Breath-taking 360 degree View from the rooftop, sea on one side and the City on the other sides. Conveniently located on a relatively quiet street between two major roads. Great access to all city attractions. Communication was great and seamless. Thilak was responsive and considerate ensuring our stay was comfortable from start to finish. 24/7 Security was an added bonus.

I had a wonderful stay at this property! The view is absolutely breathtaking, waking up to the sound of the waves and looking out over the ocean each day was a true highlight. The space was spotless and well maintained, with a modern, clean aesthetic and beautiful flooring that added a cozy touch. The location was very convenient, close to everything I needed. On top of that, the host (Heshan) was incredibly helpful and responsive, making sure everything went smoothly during my stay. The apartment was nice and cosy. Had lovely views of the city and the sea. Located in a safe area with security at the ground level. Lots of amenities within walking distance or a short tuk ride away. Ahmed and Shaira are also sweet and very responsive hosts. They personally came to check us in and out. They even have a little guide with recommendations for tourists. No regrets staying in Alfred Fern. Definitely will go back again on our next trip to Colombo!

We had a fantastic time at the appartement. The Caretaker as well as Prajot been super helpful and always been reachable for us. The location of the place is perfect starts with going out for food or shopping as well as the fantastic view. We loved being able to use the spacious and clean pool as Colombo gets really hot during the day. Everything has been absolutely great for us and we would surely stay here again.

excellent séjour passé en famille sur colombo pour 2 nuits. appartement neuf, lumineux bien équipé pour 4 personnes. situé au 43 ème étage, les nuits sont très calmes. vous pouvez cuisiner sur place ou déjeuner en extérieur avec des restaurants ou supermarché à proximité. residence propre, sécurisée. au 11 ème étage, les piscines , la salle de gym et le jardin arboré sont un vrai plus! je recommande à 100%

Die Unterkunft ist einfach ein Traum. Sie sah genau aus wie auf den Bildern, wunderschön eingerichtet. Pool und Sportraum sind innerhalb von 5 min zu erreichen. Der Check- In wurde pro aktiv vom Host vereinfacht und wir bekamen eine kleine Hausführung mit Erklärungen, alles ein super freundlicher Kontakt. Der Check- Out wurde ebenfalls flexibel auf uns angepasst, da wir relativ früh das Haus verlassen mussten. Insgesamt eine makellose und wunderschöne Unterkunft, in die ich gerne erneut einziehen würde. 5/5

This is my third time staying at Yas's place. First 02 times I was traveling Solo but this time came with my wife. Self and wife had a great stay here! The host was extremely helpful right from booking all the way to check out, always checking up on us through messages to see if we had any problems, and always replying promptly. she had been really prompt in communication Short walk to local supermarket and Tuk Tuk stand. Local amenities include pharmacy, Restaurants and take away shops all within walking distance. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Sri Lanka. would recommend the place for everyone who comes to this part of Colombo.

A very "cozy" apartment indeed: it suited our family of 3 adults perfectly. Amazing views & ambience. The apartment is located in a very central part of Colombo with easy access to many eateries, hotels & shopping outlets. There is a supermarket directly opposite the apartment building, which was extremely convenient. The apartment building had excellent security staff, who were so very kind & obliging, a BIG THANK YOU to them for helping us with all our luggage & shopping bags at varied intervals & also helping us safely navigate the many cabbies we travelled with.😀 The owner of the apartment was flexible with check-in & check-out times which was so helpful. He even met us at the apartment when we checked in way early in the morning. Disappointingly the wifi in the apartment was very unreliable. All other appliances including the washing machine & hot water system worked fine though, no problems. A fantastic holiday stay all in all! 🌸

Our stay at Villa Mandala was just beyond our expectations. The welcome from Yassi and Indika as well as their incredible kindness and availability made our stay the best vacation of our lives! We loved spending time chatting and sharing with them about Sri Lankan culture. The villa is very large and spacious, the garden and swimming pool a haven of peace. Our trip to Sri Lanka would not have had this sweet flavor without our hosts who we miss terribly! More than friends, we now consider them as members of our family so much they did for us during our stay with them! We sincerely hope to be able to return to see them soon!

My stay in Indica‘s home was absolutely perfect. I wanted a chance to see Colombo but still have a nice relaxing oasis outside of the big city, and I picked the right place! The house is absolutely beautiful, sparkling clean and has a very welcoming vibe to it. Indica was an incredible host. I felt right at home as soon as I arrived. I enjoyed delicious meals, a great swim in their pool, a wonderful night‘s sleep in the comfy bed, and lovely chats with Indica and her husband. They were happy to give me tips for my journey - how to reach Colombo by bus (super easy, and cheap!!) and they helped organize my train ticket with reserved seat to Kandy, which was a relief to have taken care of so I didn’t have to figure it out at the train station the day of my trip. I’m so happy I stayed here - I totally recommend their spot, especially for travelers who wish to visit Colombo but would prefer a more cozy relaxed vibe a bit outside the city.
