Vacation rentals with beach access in Negombo

This place is home in paradise. From the cleanliness, systematic checkin in checkout procedures to the hosts availability to help out is just commendable. The view from the stay? Oh boy! It’s to die for! I would recommend this Airbnb a 120%.

Great host - very responsive. We stayed one night so couldn't make use of the facilities. Local food options was a challenge for us as there was a festival and so I believe a lot of restaurants were closed/Uber eats kept cancelling our orders. Apartment was nice, lovely kitchen/communal space. Bathrooms could do with an update and there is no shampoo/conditioner so bring your own. Overall worth what we paid for

Very easy to find and very close to the beach. The accommodation was as described and the pool was amazing! The host was very helpful :)

We had a great time and Chathu was very responsive and helpful in his communication. The pool was nice, the Fitness room a little limited in its equipment but great to have something at all! The neighborhood is nice to arrive at or leave from Sri Lanka and the room feels very luxurious for local standards. It was a energizing stay before our trip back to Germany.

The apartment of Prad is a wonderful place with the most stunning view on the lotus tower you can imagine. Additionally, the free to use roof top pool is an outstanding experience. An another good point is that a supermarket is right infront of the door. Prad was always available and a great host. Next time in Colombo, we will definitely book again. Thank you so much Prad!

This was my first ever Airbnb booking, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We stayed for 7 days, and everything was amazing from start to finish. The place was clean, cozy, and perfect for our trip. Everyone in our group was super happy. There was a small mess caused by an accident on our part, but Savon handled it really well — calm, understanding, and professional. I’m so glad my first Airbnb stay was this smooth. I had an incredible stay at Costa’s Villa! The home looked exactly like the photos, spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and extremely comfortable. The location is perfect, just a five-minute walk to both the beach and the lagoon, and only a 20-minute drive from the airport, making it an ideal beachside retreat for a peaceful getaway. There’s no shortage of activities in the area, from boat tours to birdwatching, which makes it a haven for both nature lovers and adventurers. We especially enjoyed the serene garden and spent countless hours relaxing on the outside veranda. To top it all off, we got the chance to eat delicious homemade, authentic village-style food that truly enhanced our experience. I highly recommend Costa’s Villa for anyone seeking a relaxing and memorable stay! Thank you Dilini for the amazing stay!

This was a serene stay in a beautiful villa all to ourselves. Nilanthi was always responsive. Her cousin, Samantha, is the caretaker. Samantha is also an excellent chef and we ordered meals through him. They were excellent. Samantha was also always contactable and helpful. The villa is a short walk to the beach where we swam and enjoyed the sunset.

Sarah’s place was our last stop on a 10-day journey and it was the perfect way to end our holiday, by the beach, in a charming home with plenty of comforts and proximity to all the Negombo restaurants. We stayed for 2 nights and we recommend as a minimum stay to truly appreciate the place, the swimming pool and the beautiful sunsets over the Indian Ocean. The host was very helpful and sent detailed instructions on how to find the place and we also appreciated Nimanthi’s help who was always close by. We recommend this stay and we would be happy to return for another restful beachfront holiday at the Sandcastle.

Shehan is an amazing host. He is super communicative and responds quick. He is happy to help with anything and can help you organize your stay. His house is situated right on the beach and has a magnificent view. The area is safe and quiet, with lots of privacy. A guard stays at the property too that helps lock the gates, but that seemed unnecessary to us. All bedrooms have a huge ensuite bathroom with nice hot shower. The WiFi signal was a little bit hit or miss, but if you get a SIM card at the airport, you'll have good 4G reception. You might have to wait a little bit longer for PickMe (Sri Lanka Uber) drivers to come pick you up to go places. We had a wonderful stay and think it was great value for money. Will consider staying here next time we visit Sri Lanka.

Our stay at this property was absolutely delightful! The house is beautiful, spacious, and immaculately maintained, offering plenty of room to relax and unwind. The location is fantastic, with the beach just a few meters away, making it the perfect spot for a serene holiday. Additionally, its proximity to Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) is a major convenience. The host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, serving us a refreshing welcome drink upon arrival and even treating us to a scrumptious dinner. Their attentiveness, prompt responses, and genuine Sri Lankan hospitality made our stay truly memorable.

The sea is only a few steps from the house, and while it feels wonderfully private, it’s still ideally located—just an 8-minute tuk-tuk ride from the heart of town. It’s the perfect spot to stay in Negombo: peaceful, untouched by mass tourism, and embraced by a warm, welcoming local community. Along the road, you’ll find delicious street food prepared by neighbors, and the lively fish market is just minutes away. Prashant and his family are exceptional hosts. I couldn’t be more grateful to have discovered this gem. I’m already looking forward to coming back. It’s also a great choice for longer stays, thanks to how comfortable and homely it feels!

Friendly and Responsive Host! I always received a responsive back quickly whenever I had an inquiry. Check in and check out was extremely easy with clear instructions. Had a great and relaxed time at this wonderful clean apartment. The area is nice and quiet and the Apartment is safe with a gate and 24/7 security. Gym is wonderful with new equipment + very clean building. There are restaurants close by and Uber available :)

Beautiful location in Negombo. We were on the 9th floor with great views of the beach and the town. Three balconies. Pleasant open kitchen and seating area. Good bathroom. Good beds and closet space. Wifi not very fast.

We had a fantastic time at the appartement. The Caretaker as well as Prajot been super helpful and always been reachable for us. The location of the place is perfect starts with going out for food or shopping as well as the fantastic view. We loved being able to use the spacious and clean pool as Colombo gets really hot during the day. Everything has been absolutely great for us and we would surely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay here. The place was very clean and comfortable, had lots of facilities. The view is also beautiful. There isn’t much to do within walking distance, however we booked here to relax and prepare for our flight quite close to the airport. Dr M was very responsive and an overall great host. I can definitely recommend this place.

Ahmed and Shaira were very helpful and accomodating. The place was lovely, the view from the rooftop pool is awesome, and the place is in a fantastic location. Security was also top notch.
